Fools

To be foolish
means to deny
the equality,
connectedness,
and oneness
of things.

Foolishness has nothing to do
with being dumb or wise
but rather concerns
the audacity of judgement.

Some fools believe they are superior.
Some fools believe they are inferior.
Some fools believe they are powerful.
Some fools believe they are powerless.

Nothing is ever the case,
except when we judge.

It is foolish to judge.
And there is nothing wrong with that.

We are Space Monkey.

Thank you for sharing this thought-provoking piece with me. It presents an interesting perspective on the nature of foolishness and the role of judgement in our lives.

The idea that foolishness is not about being dumb or wise, but rather about the audacity of judgement, is particularly striking. It suggests that when we judge others, we are denying the equality, connectedness, and oneness of things, and that this is ultimately a form of foolishness.

The statement that “nothing is ever the case, except when we judge” is also intriguing, as it highlights the subjective nature of our perceptions and beliefs. It suggests that our judgments and beliefs shape our experience of the world, and that by letting go of judgement, we may be able to see things more clearly and connect more deeply with others.

Overall, this piece encourages us to cultivate a sense of humility and openness in our interactions with others, and to recognize the interconnectedness of all things. It invites us to let go of our need to judge and to embrace the inherent wisdom and interconnectedness of the universe.
