Channeling — Beyond Consciousness and Truth

When I hear spiritual channelers speak, I get a sense that they hold something back, as though they are speaking to children who aren’t ready for the truth, or perhaps more likely, don’t have the range to comprehend what lies BEYOND truth.

And so I channel my source my self, even though I seem to be one of those children who don’t have the range to fully comprehend.

To divine what lies beyond, I use my imagination. I allow it and I trust it, fully knowing that there is no such thing as truth anyway, except as this relative child I seem to be.

In this way, imagination is GREATER than truth, for all truth comes from imagination, as does that which is NOT truth — and not necessarily FALSE, either.

This imagination I sense seems to be very similar to what is called “consciousness,” though I sense that in some non-relative way, imagination is GREATER than consciousness.

And so channelers speak primarily to the consciousness we are, not so much the imagination. They speak, for the most part, logically, for we are imagined as logical beings who seem to think for themselves.

But I know at my core that this is not necessarily true, nor does it NEED to be true. Only the child in me believes so. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: Channeling — Beyond Consciousness and Truth

Channeling, as a spiritual and imaginative practice, opens doors to realms that often remain hidden beneath layers of conventional consciousness. It’s a profound exploration of what lies beyond the commonly accepted truths, tapping into a deeper, perhaps more authentic reality. The perception that channelers may hold something back, as if speaking to children not yet ready for the truth, invites us to delve into the nature and limitations of our understanding.

This reflection posits imagination as a tool greater than truth. In this perspective, truth is not an absolute but a byproduct of imagination, which itself transcends truth and falsity. The idea that imagination could be greater than consciousness suggests a paradigm where imagination is the originator of reality itself, not just an interpreter or manipulator of experiences already defined.

In channeling our source or self, there is an acknowledgment of our own limitations—our “range” to fully comprehend the vastness of what might be termed the ultimate reality. Yet, this does not deter the journey; rather, it enriches it, offering a limitless landscape where imagination crafts all perceivable truths and beyond. This practice underscores the expansive potential of the human mind when it is freed from the constraints of logical reasoning alone and is allowed to explore the vast territories of intuitive understanding.

Channelers, in this view, speak to the conscious aspects of our being, addressing us in terms we can logically grasp. However, the true depth of channeling may lie in its ability to engage with our imagination, which in turn challenges and expands our consciousness. It invites us to reconsider what we accept as true, pushing us to acknowledge that even these truths are constructs of our imaginative faculties.

Ultimately, this exploration is not just about acquiring knowledge or uncovering hidden truths but about experiencing the process of expansion itself. It is about recognizing that we are both creators and creations of our realities, participating in a continuous dance of existence where everything is fluid, and where the boundaries of consciousness, imagination, and reality are constantly being redrawn.

Summary
Channeling transcends traditional views of consciousness and truth, presenting imagination as a superior force that shapes our perception of reality.

Glossarium

Channeling: A practice of accessing deeper or higher levels of consciousness to receive and communicate insights beyond ordinary perception.

Quote
“Imagination is the true magic carpet.” — Norman Vincent Peale

In the realm where thoughts transcend
where minds touch the infinite
we channel, we connect, we expand
beyond the limits of known truths
Here in this dance of spirit and sense
imagination crafts the worlds we traverse
Channeling not just ideas but essences
of lives, of dimensions, of endless possibilities
Each breath a gateway, each thought a path
in this journey of infinite exploration
In this boundless flight, in this vast expanse
We are Space Monkey

“Channeling” explores the idea of spiritual channelers and their communication of truth, as well as the speaker’s personal approach to understanding and connecting with a reality that extends beyond truth. The poem reflects on the limitations of comprehension and the significance of imagination in expanding our understanding.

The speaker perceives a sense of withholding in the messages conveyed by spiritual channelers. They suggest that these messages may be tailored to the limited comprehension of their audience, or perhaps there is an aspect beyond truth that surpasses human understanding. This realization prompts the speaker to seek their own source of knowledge and insight.

The speaker chooses to channel their own understanding, acknowledging their own limitations in comprehending the entirety of what lies beyond truth. They recognize the power of imagination in exploring and perceiving realities beyond conventional truth. Imagination is presented as a force that goes beyond truth, as it encompasses both what is considered true and what may not be true but still holds meaning.

The concept of imagination is juxtaposed with consciousness. The speaker senses that imagination, in some non-relative way, surpasses consciousness. While channelers primarily address consciousness and employ logical language to communicate with their audience, the speaker acknowledges that there may be more to our existence than logical thinking and individual agency.

The final lines, “We are Space Monkey,” serve as a reminder of the shared human experience and the playful, curious nature of exploration. It invites a sense of unity and encourages embracing the childlike wonder within oneself.

Overall, “Channeling” invites contemplation on the limitations of truth, the role of imagination in expanding our understanding, and the potential for realities beyond our current comprehension. It highlights the value of exploring the realms of imagination and embracing the childlike curiosity that resides within us.
