Squeeze

Sometimes
we like to squeeze
our selves
into the tiniest
possible space
in order to
glimpse the magnitude
of what we are.

We like to imagine
our selves as pained
and powerless people.

These
self-imposed limitations,
the more the better,
channel us into experiencing
what we may not
have otherwise imagined.

All experience is good,
even that which the self abhors,
for we are so much more
than just this child
locked within a closet
in the dark.

This closet that confines us,
this space capsule of sorts,
can bring us to places
that only the imagination can.

And so it does.

Sometimes
we like to squeeze
our selves
into the tiniest
possible space
in order to
glimpse the magnitude
of what we are.

We are Space Monkey.

I don’t disagree

I don’t disagree
with anything,
but rather believe
in infinite points of view.

I recognize that
this can be unsettling
for the monkeys
I imagine as others,
but this is my point of view,
which,
for all I know,
may be the only
point of view there is.

It is certainly
the only point of view
that I can verify,
and even then,
I’m not sure
if it’s mine
or merely
imagined as mine.

Assuming that
there is
but one reality
is but one
point of view.

In my meager mind,
all signs point to infinity.

This can be anything
we want it to be.

We are Space Monkey.

Day Off

On the sixth day,
the monkey rested,
because he knew
that god
was off tomorrow,
and that someone
needed to cover.

The Pamphlet

So I could live today. Or I could die today.

Either way, I would know that the choice was offered up by my soul and agreed to by my self. There is infinite comfort in that.

See, people don’t leave this life unwillingly. It just seems that way from your perspective because you don’t have all the information while they do.

You haven’t been given the pamphlet yet. If you did you would know that nothing can hurt you, none of this matters and that every single stitch of reality is imagined by YOU. Including the pamphlet.

Those loved ones of yours? They’re YOUR construction. This crazy world? Same thing.

I know that if I were ever to leave this mortal plane, all that stuff would COME WITH ME. So there’s nothing to be sad about. EVER.

You don’t realize this, but I IMAGINE YOU, just like you imagine me, and we’re all connected — unified really — as the Divine One.

There are NO BOUNDARIES between us, save for the ones we imagine. There is NO FEAR, save for this game called LIFE that we make up together as one.

We’re having FUN with this, even the horrible parts. You just don’t fully know it yet.

But you will. The pamphlet will arrive at your door soon enough. And we will be there, as ALWAYS. In a cute little postman’s outfit.

We are Space Monkey.

Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime. Teach a man to meditate and he doesn’t need to eat any more.

From A Course In Miracles

“Although in truth the term sacrifice is altogether meaningless, it does have meaning in the world. Like all things in the world, its meaning is temporary and will ultimately fade into the nothingness from which it came when there is no more use for it. Now its real meaning is a lesson. Like all lessons, it is an illusion, for in reality there is nothing to learn. Yet this illusion must be replaced by a corrective device, another illusion that replaces the first, so both can finally disappear. The first illusion, which must be displaced before another thought system can take hold, is that it is a sacrifice to give up the things of this world. What could this be but an illusion, since this world itself is nothing more than that?”

Rule isn’t a rule

The gateway to the imagination
is adorned with one simple question:

“What if that rule isn’t a rule?”

Consider the possibility
and you may enter.

Deny the potential
and the gate
shall remain locked,
and you shall spend a lifetime
within the more constricting
side of the fence.

For what is a cage
but limits you have accepted?

The No-Die Clause

Just as athletes have “no-trade” clauses,
you have made the agreement with your soul
that you will NEVER be killed off
without your approval.

It’s true.

There are spaces on the game board
in which you face
potentially “life-threatening” choices.

When you land on this space,
you may turn over a card.

The card lifts the veil, so to speak,
and shows you the true nature of your Divine Existence.

This is when you discover
that the life you’ve been living so far
is but your imagination.

It is then that you realize
that nothing would really happen
if you were to leave the game.

It is then that you realize
that everything you have
come to know as “real”
is but a mind fantasy,
including your self,
your loved ones,
your history,
your world,
indeed ALL you perceive
is part of this fantasy.

And this fantasy
can CONTINUE
after you leave the game,
if you so choose.

You come to realize
that nothing has been ventured
and nothing has been lost.

You realize that
it doesn’t hurt ANYONE
if you leave
because you’ve been
imagining them
from the beginning.

So, no, they will not miss you.

They ARE you.

So you can exit the game,
though it may seem
from the perspective
of the other imaginary players
that you are dead,
and they will imagine being sad
or happy, depending upon
how the game had been unfolding
up until that point.

And they will swear
that these feelings are real
because they have not yet
turned over the card
that informs them
that they are imagined by you.

You are the DIVINE ONE.

We ALL are.

We are playing a game.

And the experiences
we may have
are NOTHING
compared to the experiences
this so called
“enlightenment” brings.

We see
that those we imagine
as “taken from us”
in actuality leave
because they see
that what lies
behind door #3,
is far greater
than this flat earth
existence.

So it becomes easy
to leave the game
if we so choose.

Or we can contain to play
like some of us do,
because WHY NOT?

We are infinite, immortal imagination.

We have all the time in the universe.

We are Space Monkey.

Hearts don’t come easy

Hearts don’t come easy. You have to cut through the rib cage first. And don’t get me started on minds. All that messy work for nothing. Nope, our only choice is to go all in. The soul is the only organ worth keeping — IF you can find it.

Stolen Ticket

A stolen ticket
will get you into
Enlightenment
just like a paid one,
just like a fake one,
just like an imaginary one,
because the “truth”
you find your self
so fond of seeking
is that you don’t need
a ticket to begin with.

We are Space Monkey.
