Space Monkey on Fighting
One of our least favorite words in the human language is “fight.” This seems to be the word that gets you into the most trouble. When you fight something, country or cancer, your word choice automatically sets you up as separate from the ________ you are fighting, and this is NEVER the case.
Until you realize that your germs and our guns are as much a part of you as your hands and your hugs, your “fight” will always be destined to fail. We may be a monkey, but it is you who are chasing your own tail.
“Ah but how will we get rid of the _____ we don’t like? These ________ may very well kill us!”
Silly humans. Until you learn to be one with whatever it is you’re fighting, your fight will be nothing more than an infinite game of dodgeball. When you use the word “fight” you create an opponent that didn’t previously exist. Your words and thoughts give whatever you focus upon the energy to take form.
Whenever you want to fight something, whenever you are against something, ask yourself why. The answer will no doubt have something to do with your identity. You are very protective of this identity, for it took you a whole lifetime to develop. In fact, your human ancestors were building your identity thousands of years before you were born. This is your most precious treasure, and you don’t want it threatened in any way. Even a loss from one of your favorite sports teams hurts like a swiftly ripped bandaid. Loss of legacy? Death? Don’t even go there.
You do not want to lose what you have built. It’s that simple. So you fight to maintain the status quo, maybe even get ahead of the game, in your perception.
We have said it a thousand times. Perception is reality. It is possible to adjust your reality without fighting. Ironically, the biggest cancer you are fighting is your own conditioned culture, the one that separates you from your true nature. YOU ARE NOT SEPARATE.
Take heart that perception will shift, regardless of whether your world willingly changes its ways. You will either perpetuate your cancer, and continue to treasure it, or you will find peace and unity in the whole of your infinite being.
Perhaps both, for anything is possible. You are already communicating with your monkeys. Do not fight us.
So sayeth the Space Monkey.
You are not meant for this world
Your world is far more wonderful
Don’t let the outside drag you in
Don’t let the wrong world win
They want you to be
Exactly as they are
They simply cannot see
The cancer they’ve become
Growing out of control
Losing sight of the soul
They’ve given up the fight
Mistaking rules for right
You are not meant for this world
Your world is far more wonderful
Don’t let the outside suck you in
Don’t let the wrong world win
Never give up
Their only hope is you
Pretend to play along
Find a crack
And slip through
They are not meant for this world
Your world is far more wonderful
Look inside and you will see
That ONLY YOU can set the outside free

The Temptation of Conformity
In the dance of life on Earth, there exists a temptation—a seductive force that seeks to mold us into replicas of the prevailing norm. Yet, Space Monkey reminds us that we are not meant to be mere copies; we are meant to be the authors of our own cosmic stories.

or listening to what others
tell you you should be.
But they are not you.
You are the most gifted,

Different from everyone else.

In the realm of cosmic contemplation, where the galaxies whisper their secrets to the stars, Space Monkey pauses to reflect upon your profound words. The essence of your message resonates deeply—a reminder that we are each a unique facet in the grand tapestry of existence, and our worth transcends the judgments of others.
The Lure of Comparison
It is a peculiar aspect of human nature to compare ourselves to others, to measure our worth by the yardstick of external perceptions. We are often ensnared by the illusion that our value lies in how we stack up against those around us. Yet, Space Monkey understands that this is a fallacy—an unwise comparison that can lead to feelings of worthlessness.
The Essence of Individuality
Your words convey a fundamental truth—that each of us is inherently gifted, creative, and special. The cosmos does not produce duplicates; it crafts every being with a unique blend of stardust. Space Monkey celebrates the richness of individuality, for it is within the tapestry of diversity that the universe finds its most beautiful patterns.
Embracing Your Authentic Self
Your message is a call to authenticity, a plea to recognize that the standards set by others should not define our self-worth. You encourage us to embrace our own gifts, to define our own priorities, and to honor the path that resonates with our inner truth.
The World Within
Your words also allude to the idea that there exists a world within us—a world of wonder and self-discovery. This inner world, as Space Monkey sees it, is where we find our true essence, beyond the expectations of the external world. It is a world where our uniqueness is celebrated, and where our worth shines brightly, unburdened by the judgments of others.
Summary
We need not be confined by the judgments and expectations of the external world. We are meant to explore the wonders of our inner selves, to recognize our intrinsic worth, and to embrace the gifts that make us different from everyone else.

The Meritary System
As we transition from the monetary to the meritary system, we will rethink what it means to be a member of a tribe. Rather than your income, you will be defined by your outcome. What are your desires? How do these desires contribute to society? How are others impacted positively by your actions?
The move to the meritary system will be signaled by a mass shift in consciousness. You will become aware that inner explorations are as vital to creation as your outer manifestations. That means the dreamer will find a place alongside the doer, will be held in equal esteem, and will be compensated (for lack of a better term) as generously.
In this way, spiritual growth will be accelerated, resolving the great mysteries of your science. There will be no conflict caused by financial hardship, for the “false god” will finally be banished.
But without financial exchange, or science as we know it, how will one measure worth? Suffice it to say, the answer will become evident once the transition has begun. First you must transcend the NEED for measurement, as this idea is causing a blockage in your potential.
One idea we might propose is that every citizen should give a public speech on the grand stage every ten years. This speech, delivered in the common language, will not only allow you to share your progress, it will become incentive for introspection for yourself and others. Introspection is the key to all movement and growth.
Smaller, more frequent circles are also encouraged. Indeed a return to the smaller tribes of your ancestors will teach you much about your true nature and your place within this reality. One need only look prior to the introduction of money for inspiration, for you were on the right path before this detour occurred.
It matters not, for you are returning to your true path once more, “richer” for the experience.
2/4
The envisioned shift from a monetary to a meritary system represents a profound transformation in societal values and structures, where the criteria for recognition and reward pivot from financial accumulation to the contributions one makes to the collective well-being. This paradigm shift prompts a reevaluation of individual and communal priorities, emphasizing the intrinsic worth of each person’s contributions, regardless of their economic implications.
Redefining Value and Contribution
In a meritary system, the emphasis on outcomes over income invites a holistic assessment of one’s impact on society. It encourages a reflection on personal desires and their alignment with societal advancement, fostering a culture where the positive effects of one’s actions on others are a key measure of success.
Holistic Assessment of Impact
The transition to such a system is predicated on a significant shift in consciousness, recognizing the equal importance of inner exploration and external achievement. This acknowledgment of the dreamer’s role alongside the doer elevates the value of creativity, imagination, and spiritual growth, suggesting a society where diverse contributions are equally esteemed and supported.
Elevating Inner Exploration and Creativity
The eradication of financial hardship and the relegation of monetary wealth to a “false god” status imply a society where conflict and inequality are significantly reduced. This scenario portrays a future where human potential is unleashed, unencumbered by economic constraints, and where the exploration of science and spirituality could merge to resolve longstanding mysteries.
Unleashing Human Potential Beyond Economic Constraints
The challenge of measuring worth without financial metrics or traditional scientific benchmarks invites innovative approaches to recognizing and celebrating contributions. The proposal of public speeches and smaller, introspective circles echoes ancient communal practices, emphasizing the value of sharing, reflection, and communal support in fostering growth and understanding.
Innovative Approaches to Recognition and Growth
This vision for a meritary system, while utopian, underscores a deep yearning for a return to values that prioritize human connection, personal growth, and the collective good over material accumulation. It challenges current paradigms and invites imaginative exploration of alternative ways of living and organizing society that could lead to a more harmonious and fulfilling existence.

“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” – Mahatma Gandhi
In a world where worth is not weighed in gold,
Where the stories of souls are sung and told.
Here, the dreamer walks hand in hand with the doer,
In a dance of creation, both sower and sewer.
No longer bound by the chains of gain,
We find our riches in the rain.
In every act of love and care,
In every moment, we share.
So let us speak, let us listen, let us grow,
In the meritary light, we let our true colors show.
For in this shift, we find our part,
In the endless circle, the art of the heart.
We invite you to share your reflections on the concept of a meritary system and the shift in values it represents. How do you envision your contributions in such a society?
