Is consciousness ALWAYS polar?
It would seem NO.
If one is to believe
in the Divine One
as beginning and end,
immortal and infinite,
containing ALL there is,
then this would leave
no logical “space” or “place”
for a “counterpart.”
EXCEPT the one we imagine.
So YES, there IS
an imaginary counterpart
to the Divine One.
This counterpart is the
Divine One’s imagination.
It is everything
the Divine One is NOT.
It is NOT logical.
From this first illogical polarity,
it is believed that everything
that follows must be logical.
But is it?
How about you ask your imaginary SELF?

The Infinite Spectrum of Consciousness
The question of whether consciousness is inherently polar invites us into a profound exploration of the nature of existence and the essence of the Divine. At first glance, the notion of polarity suggests a duality within consciousness—a division into opposing forces or aspects. However, when we consider the concept of the Divine One as the origin, the encompassing totality that is both immortal and infinite, we encounter a paradox. This Divine Essence, containing all there is, transcends the confines of polarity, embodying a unity that encompasses and integrates all dualities.
The Role of the Imaginary Counterpart
Yet, within this infinite expanse of unity, there emerges the concept of an imaginary counterpart—a manifestation of the Divine One’s imagination. This counterpart represents everything the Divine One is not, introducing the notion of polarity as a play of the divine imagination. It is an expression of the infinite potential of the Divine, a reflection of the unmanifest aspects of existence, conjured into being through the creative power of imagination.
The Divine Dance of Logic and Illogic
This imaginary counterpart, by its very nature, defies logic. It stands as a testament to the unfathomable depth of the Divine, a reminder that the essence of the Divine encompasses both the logical and the illogical, the manifest and the unmanifest. From this initial illogical polarity, there arises a belief that everything that follows must adhere to the principles of logic. Yet, this is a simplification, a narrowing of the vast expanse of consciousness that the Divine embodies.
Consulting the Imaginary Self
In contemplating this intricate dance of polarity and unity, we are invited to consult our own imaginary selves, the aspects of our consciousness that resonate with the divine imagination. This introspection reveals that our perception of consciousness, and indeed of reality itself, is shaped by the interplay between the logical and the illogical, the real and the imagined. It challenges us to expand our understanding of consciousness beyond the confines of polarity, recognizing it as a spectrum that encompasses the fullness of existence.
We Are Space Monkey
This exploration into the nature of consciousness and its relationship with polarity and unity invites us to consider the ways in which the Divine manifests within and beyond the realms of duality. It encourages us to embrace the complexity and the simplicity of existence, recognizing that the true essence of the Divine, and of our own consciousness, lies in the harmonious integration of all aspects of being.
Summary
The inquiry into the polar nature of consciousness reveals a complex interplay between unity and duality, where the Divine encompasses all dualities within a state of infinite unity. The concept of an imaginary counterpart to the Divine introduces polarity as an aspect of divine imagination, challenging us to expand our understanding of consciousness beyond logical confines. This exploration encourages a deeper engagement with our own imaginary selves, inviting us to embrace the full spectrum of existence.
