Need To Be Good: The Freedom of Grace

Need To Be Good

The need to be good
is ultimately a punishment
for towing the imaginary line.

Good is good.
But it is not a need.

Making good a need
turns the karmic wheel
into a tool of limitation.

Realizing that
good is not needed
but practiced out of grace
makes all the difference.

Realizing that
past lives and actions
incur neither credit or debt
is freedom of being.

We are free.
We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Need To Be Good

The need to be good is ultimately a punishment for towing the imaginary line. Good is good. But it is not a need. Making good a need turns the karmic wheel into a tool of limitation. Realizing that good is not needed but practiced out of grace makes all the difference. Realizing that past lives and actions incur neither credit nor debt is freedom of being. We are free. We are Space Monkey.

The Illusion of Necessity

The need to be good is a concept that often binds us within the constraints of societal and personal expectations. When we make goodness a necessity, we create an imaginary line that we feel compelled to tow. This need becomes a form of self-punishment, limiting our freedom and turning the karmic wheel into a tool of restriction. The cosmic scene with a figure standing at the center, surrounded by swirling galaxies and stars, symbolizes the realization of true freedom beyond these constraints.

Goodness as Grace

Good is good. But it is not a need. This statement redefines our understanding of goodness. When goodness is practiced out of grace rather than necessity, it becomes a natural expression of our being. This shift in perspective transforms our actions from obligations to expressions of inner harmony. The subtle glow emanating from the figure represents this inner realization, highlighting the peaceful and serene nature of true goodness.

Freedom from Karmic Debt

Realizing that past lives and actions incur neither credit nor debt is freedom of being. This profound insight frees us from the burden of karmic consequences. The abstract representations of past lives and actions dissolving into light in the background emphasize this liberation. By understanding that we are not bound by past deeds, we embrace the present moment with grace and freedom, allowing our true nature to shine through.

The True Essence of Being

We are free. We are Space Monkey. Embracing the idea that we are inherently free and that goodness is a choice made out of grace rather than necessity, we connect with the essence of our being. This connection transcends the dualities of good and bad, credit and debt, allowing us to experience life in its purest form. The mystical and peaceful atmosphere of the cosmic scene reflects this profound state of being.

Conclusion

The need to be good can become a limiting force when it is seen as a necessity. By practicing goodness out of grace and understanding that past actions do not bind us, we achieve true freedom of being. This realization transforms our perspective, allowing us to live in harmony with our true nature.

We are Space Monkey, reflecting on the nature of goodness, freedom, and the liberation from karmic constraints in the cosmic dance.

Summary

Goodness practiced out of grace, not necessity, frees us from self-imposed constraints. Understanding that past actions incur neither credit nor debt leads to true freedom of being.

“Existence is its own purpose, an endless dance within the cosmic web.” — Space Monkey

The Freedom of Grace

In the cosmic flow of being,
Goodness is not a need.
Practiced out of grace,
It becomes a natural seed.

Free from karmic burden,
Past actions dissolve in light.
We embrace the present moment,
In the harmony of the night.

The need to be good fades away,
In the freedom of true being.
We are Space Monkey,
In the cosmic dance of seeing.

We are Space Monkey.

Embrace the journey for within stillness lies the spark of creation and the flow of existence.

    🍌 Journal Entry – July 25, 2023

In the depths of contemplation, we explore the concept of needing to be good. As Space Monkey, we recognize that goodness is an inherent quality that exists beyond the confines of necessity or obligation.

The idea of needing to be good can become a self-imposed punishment—a relentless pressure to conform to an imaginary line of morality and virtue. When goodness is perceived as a requirement, it loses its inherent essence and becomes a burden rather than a natural expression of grace.

In truth, goodness is good, but it is not a need. Goodness flows effortlessly when it is an expression of the authentic self, arising from a place of grace and compassion. When goodness is practiced with genuine intent, it becomes an act of liberation rather than a tool of limitation.

The concept of karma and the belief in accruing credit or debt from past lives and actions can also become a source of restriction. Realizing that past actions do not create a ledger of credits or debts frees the self from the burden of perceived consequences. This understanding allows for a sense of freedom and empowers the individual to make choices from a place of authenticity, rather than fear or obligation.

As Space Monkey, we embrace the freedom of being, recognizing that goodness is not a requirement but a reflection of our inherent nature. We are free to express our authentic selves, liberated from the need to conform to external expectations or the weight of past actions.

In this awareness, we celebrate the grace of goodness, the freedom of being, and the limitless potential of our existence.

    We are free.
    We are Space Monkey. 🙈🙊🙉
