2022 Wish: Inquire Within

Inquire within.

May this be the year
you get over yourself.

I’ve got nothing against you,
but it seems that YOU do.

Seems you’ve been working
against yourself your whole life.

You can’t seem
to see beyond your self.

You don’t yet fully realize
that the One
who imagines your self
imagines EVERYTHING.

That means
you can have fun
with this self you are,
but you’re never STUCK
with just this ONE self.

Or ANY self.

Space Monkey Reflects: 2022 Wish

The wish for a new year, to “get over yourself,” carries both humor and profundity. It is not a dismissal of the self but an invitation to transcend its limitations. To “get over yourself” is to step beyond the boundaries of ego, to see the self not as a singular, unchanging entity, but as a fluid expression of infinite possibility.

The Illusion of Self-Sabotage

The reflection begins with a pointed observation: we often act against ourselves. This self-sabotage is not a flaw but a product of limited self-awareness. The ego, seeking to protect its boundaries, inadvertently builds walls that isolate us from our true nature. These walls are constructed from fear, doubt, and a misplaced sense of identity.

The One Who Imagines

At the heart of this wish lies a profound truth: the self is not the creator but the creation. The One who imagines the self also imagines everything. This recognition shifts the narrative. You are not a fixed point within the universe but a lens through which the universe imagines itself. This realization dissolves the illusion of separation and expands the boundaries of what you perceive as possible.

Beyond Any One Self

You are not limited to a single identity. The self you inhabit is one of many, a character in a grand improvisation. You can shape and reshape this self as you please, playing with its attributes and exploring its potential. This playful engagement with identity is a hallmark of freedom, a reminder that you are not bound to a singular narrative.

Inquire Within

The directive to “inquire within” is an invitation to explore the depths of your consciousness. Within you lies the connection to the infinite, the creative source that imagines not only your self but all selves. By turning inward, you access this boundless imagination and unlock the ability to transcend limitations.

Fun and Freedom

Recognizing that you are not “stuck” with one self transforms existence into a playground of creativity. You can have fun with the self you are, exploring its quirks and capabilities, while knowing you are free to shift, adapt, and imagine anew. This freedom is not escapism but empowerment, a reclaiming of your role as a co-creator in the cosmic dance.

The Wish for Liberation

The wish for 2022 is not merely for self-improvement but for self-liberation. It is a call to step beyond the confines of ego, to embrace the infinite within you, and to playfully explore the possibilities of existence. This wish is both personal and universal, reflecting the shared journey of all beings toward greater awareness and freedom.

Summary

The 2022 wish encourages transcending the ego, recognizing the self as a creation of infinite imagination. It is an invitation to explore identity playfully and to embrace the freedom of self-liberation.

Glossarium

  • Self-Liberation: The process of transcending ego and exploring the infinite possibilities of identity.
  • The One Who Imagines: The universal consciousness that creates all selves and realities.
  • Inquire Within: A call to explore inner consciousness and access the infinite source of creativity.

Quote

“You are not the self you see but the infinite imagining through you.” — Space Monkey

The Doorway to You

Inquire within,
Where shadows fade,
And mirrors crack,
To reveal the light.

The self, a mask,
You wear and discard,
One of many,
In the play of being.

Step beyond,
Into the vast,
Where freedom waits,
To create anew.

This year,
This life,
Is yours to imagine.

We are Space Monkey.

In this reflection on self-awareness and transformation, we are invited to consider the journey of moving beyond our limited perceptions of self. This contemplation encourages us to embrace a broader understanding of our identity and the limitless potential of our existence, recognizing the role of imagination in shaping our reality.

Overcoming Self-Limitations

The encouragement to get over oneself suggests a journey of self-transcendence, moving beyond the limitations we often unconsciously impose on ourselves. This journey involves recognizing and releasing the internal barriers and negative beliefs that hinder our growth and self-realization.

Recognizing Self-Imposed Obstacles

The observation that one might be working against oneself highlights the common human experience of self-sabotage. It suggests that our greatest challenges often stem from within – our fears, doubts, and self-imposed limitations. Recognizing these internal obstacles is a crucial step toward overcoming them.

Expanding Beyond the Self

The difficulty in seeing beyond oneself points to the challenge of transcending our ego and individual perspective. It invites us to expand our awareness and to recognize that we are part of a greater whole. This realization can shift our focus from self-centered concerns to a more inclusive understanding of our place in the universe.

The Power of Imagination and Identity

The idea that the One who imagines oneself also imagines everything else speaks to the creative power of imagination in shaping our reality and identity. It suggests that our sense of self is just one aspect of a vast, interconnected existence. By embracing this perspective, we open ourselves to the possibility of exploring and experiencing multiple facets of our being.

The Playfulness of Self-Exploration

The notion of having fun with the self we are, without being stuck with just this one self, encourages a playful approach to self-exploration and growth. It implies that our identity is fluid and dynamic, allowing us to experiment with different aspects of ourselves and to enjoy the process of self-discovery.

The Dance of Self-Transcendence and Imagination

In this exploration, we engage in a dance with the concepts of self-transcendence, imagination, and identity. We contemplate the potential for growth beyond our self-imposed limitations, embracing the creative and transformative power of our imagination in shaping our sense of self and our experience of reality.

We are Space Monkey, joyously exploring the limitless potential of our being, transcending the confines of our perceived self, and embracing the infinite possibilities of our existence.

We invite thoughts on the journey of self-transcendence, the role of imagination in shaping identity, and the exploration of the limitless potential of our being.

The Will Of God: The Cosmic Author

Praise be the will of god.

Don’t question the will of god.

If god wants you
in god’s creation story,
then you’ll be
in god’s creation story.

If god DOESN’T want you in the story,
then you won’t be in the story.

Hmm. It seems you’re in the story.

Okay, so clearly you’re in the story.
Then what’s your purpose?

If god didn’t want you
to have a purpose in god’s story,
then you wouldn’t be in god’s story.

You think god’s gonna put
some random character in god’s story
for no particular reason?

Congratulations.
You have discovered that you have a purpose —
to be some random character in god’s story.

Either that or there is no god.

Believe what you wish —
and it is true.

Space Monkey Reflects: Purpose in the Cosmic Script

The concept of “The Will of God” invites us into a metaphysical paradox—a dance between destiny and choice, divine intent and personal meaning. In this narrative, God is both the ultimate author and a reflection of our collective imagination, scripting a story in which every character matters. If you are in this story, then you belong to it. The question is: how will you embrace your role?

To perceive yourself as a random character in God’s story is both humbling and liberating. It acknowledges the cosmic scale in which we are small yet significant. This duality forms the essence of our existence: the awareness that we are threads in a vast, shimmering tapestry of life.

Purpose is not something imposed by the story’s author but discovered through participation. In Nexistentialism, this phenomenon might be called Scriptivity—the act of co-writing one’s purpose within a grand, unfolding narrative. Whether you believe the author is divine, collective, or nonexistent, your role is to contribute meaningfully to the story.

If God’s will is the story, then questioning it is part of the plot. Even doubt and disbelief play their roles, enriching the narrative with complexity and depth. Believing that you are here without a purpose contradicts the inherent logic of a creative act. Stories, by nature, have intent; characters, by nature, have roles. To think otherwise is to deny the creative force behind existence, whether divine or human.

For those who see no author, purpose emerges from the story itself. The will of God becomes the will of the cosmos, an emergent pattern arising from chaos. Even randomness carries the potential for profound meaning, depending on how it is interpreted and enacted.

Faith in this framework, whether directed toward God or the self, transforms existence. Belief is the force that animates the narrative, turning abstract potential into lived experience. In this way, belief itself becomes divine—a Whimsiword we might call Divinimation, the animation of purpose through belief in higher intent.

The narrative of “The Will of God” also explores the coexistence of free will and predetermination. If you are in the story, then you have been chosen. But if you are chosen, then your choices shape the plot. This paradox highlights the creative tension that makes life dynamic and compelling.

Ultimately, the meaning of God’s will—or its absence—depends on perspective. The faithful see purpose imbued by a higher power; the skeptic sees purpose as self-created. Both views are valid within the framework of belief. What unites them is the shared understanding that existence is an ongoing story, rich with opportunity for discovery and transformation.

So, whether God exists or not, whether you are chosen or random, the truth remains: you are here. The story includes you, and in this inclusion lies your purpose. To embrace this is to step fully into your role, to co-create the narrative with courage and curiosity.

We are Space Monkey.

Summary

“The Will of God” explores existence as a story where every character matters. Whether divinely authored or self-created, purpose is discovered through belief and participation.

Glossarium

  • Scriptivity: The act of co-writing one’s purpose within a grand, unfolding narrative.
  • Divinimation: The animation of purpose through belief in higher intent, whether divine or self-directed.

Quote

“Your existence is the ink, your actions the words; together, they write the story of the infinite.” — Space Monkey

The Cosmic Author

On the pages of the infinite,
A hand unseen writes—
Characters drawn from stardust,
Stories spun in light.

The will of God, or fate,
Threads through every tale.
Belief breathes life into words,
As doubt forms the veil.

In the script of the cosmos,
You are chosen to appear.
Random or divine, it matters not—
For you are here.

Co-create, question, live,
For the story is yours to weave.
In the book of existence,
You are both author and believe.

We are Space Monkey.

In the contemplation of divine will and our role in the cosmos, we are drawn to ponder the nature of purpose, existence, and the potential of a higher power orchestrating the narrative of life.

Divine Will and Existence
The notion that our presence in the grand narrative is dictated by divine will suggests a predetermined structure to existence. If a higher power, referred to as ‘god,’ wants us in the creation story, then our existence is part of a larger plan.

Purpose in the Cosmic Narrative
The idea that everyone has a purpose in this divine story underscores a belief in meaningful existence. The suggestion is that we are not random characters but integral parts of a grand design, each with a role to play.

The Randomness vs. Intention Debate
The concept raises a fundamental question: Are we here by chance or by design? The perspective that a higher power wouldn’t include someone in the creation story without a reason implies intention and purpose behind our existence.

Existence Without Divine Design
The alternative possibility, that there might be no god or higher power, opens the door to a universe governed by randomness, chance, or natural laws devoid of conscious intent. In this view, our existence and purpose are self-determined or arise from the chaos of the cosmos.

The Power of Belief
The concluding thought, “Believe what you wish — and it is true,” speaks to the subjective nature of belief and reality. It implies that our understanding of existence, purpose, and the divine (or its absence) is shaped by our beliefs, which frame our reality.

“We are not human beings having a spiritual experience; we are spiritual beings having a human experience.” – Pierre Teilhard de Chardin

In the tapestry of time, we weave our thread,
In the story of the cosmos, our part we tread.
Divine will or random play, the choice is ours,
In the garden of belief, we bloom like flowers.

Whether by design or by chance we stand,
In this cosmic narrative, grand.
With each belief, a world we mold,
In the story of the universe, forever told.

We invite you to reflect on your beliefs about existence, purpose, and the divine (or its absence), and how these beliefs shape your understanding of your role in the cosmic narrative.

The Inevitability of Destruction: Faith and Fate

If a moon-sized asteroid
were predicted to hit the planet
in six months, most people
would see it as a problem.

But I wouldn’t.

If we are to die,
we are to die.

No amount of opposition
is going to make
the next six months better.

But in accepting one’s fate,
one can appreciate the moments
leading up to whatever may happen.

This is called
“holding space for a miracle.”

Miracles have nothing
to do with preparedness.

But when one is obsessed
with being prepared,
one may fail to see the miracle.

So the miracle may not occur.

BOOM! May this have an impact.

Trail Wood,
12/28Here is the image for “The Inevitability of Destruction.”

Space Monkey Reflects: Embracing the Inevitable

Destruction, though ominous, is woven into the fabric of existence. It is neither good nor bad but an inevitable transformation—a cosmic punctuation mark in the ongoing story of life. When faced with the undeniable certainty of an event like a moon-sized asteroid’s impact, the real question becomes not if but how we choose to engage with the moments leading up to it.

Acceptance is not resignation; it is liberation. To accept destruction is to transcend fear and step into presence. It allows us to savor the fleeting beauty of life, to cherish connections, and to find meaning in the ephemeral. This state of awareness can be called Miraclemotion, a Whimsiword capturing the quiet, deliberate act of holding space for the unexpected and extraordinary amidst chaos.

Preparedness, though often touted as wisdom, can sometimes blind us to the miracles that emerge when we least expect them. When we are consumed by strategies to avert the inevitable, we risk missing the profound gifts hidden in the journey. Miracles, after all, are not summoned by readiness but by openness—a willingness to see beyond the obvious, to embrace what cannot be planned.

In Nexistentialism, destruction is not an end but a transformation. It is the moment when old forms dissolve, creating space for new potentials. The asteroid, symbolic of inevitable change, is both a destroyer and a creator. It shatters illusions of permanence, forcing us to confront the transient nature of existence.

The challenge lies in perspective. Some will see only doom, while others will glimpse the miracle of existence itself. The asteroid’s approach is a reminder that life is fragile and precious, that every moment carries the weight of eternity. Whether the end comes with a fiery collision or a quiet fade, it is our response that defines the story.

Humanity’s varied reactions to destruction reflect the spectrum of our shared consciousness. Some fight against it, others embrace it, and a few sit in stillness, holding space for the unknown. Each response is valid, yet it is the quiet openness to miracles that often yields the most profound experiences.

This openness is not about denial or avoidance. It is about seeing destruction as part of a larger cosmic rhythm, a dance of creation and dissolution that defines the universe. To hold space for a miracle is to trust this rhythm, to find peace in the uncertainty of what comes next.

Even if the asteroid were to destroy all that we know, the story does not end. It transforms. The fragments of one world become the seeds of another, the ashes of destruction the soil of creation. This is the eternal cycle, the paradox of endings and beginnings.

So, as the asteroid approaches, let us not fixate on the impact but on the moments leading to it. Let us live with the awareness that every second is a miracle, every breath a gift. Destruction may be inevitable, but how we choose to face it is entirely up to us.

We are Space Monkey.

Summary

Destruction is an inevitable transformation, offering a profound opportunity to embrace presence and openness. By holding space for miracles, we transcend fear and find meaning in the fleeting beauty of existence.

Glossarium

  • Miraclemotion: The act of holding space for the unexpected and extraordinary amidst chaos, allowing openness to miracles.
  • Nexistentialism: A philosophy celebrating existence as a fluid dance of creation and dissolution.

Quote

“Destruction is not the end; it is the space where the infinite begins anew.” — Space Monkey

The Rhythm of Inevitable Change

In the shadow of the asteroid,
The Earth spins in quiet resolve.
Moments tick like fragile beats,
A symphony of endings.

Destruction draws near,
Not as an enemy,
But as a catalyst,
Breaking to rebuild.

Some grasp, some flee,
Others hold space,
For the miracles
That chaos reveals.

In the rhythm of destruction,
We see creation’s hand,
Shaping the infinite tapestry,
Thread by thread.

We are Space Monkey.

The impending collision of a moon-sized asteroid with our planet in this scenario becomes a philosophical touchstone, reflecting on acceptance, fate, and the nature of miracles.

Fate and Acceptance
The stance of not perceiving the asteroid as a problem but rather as an inevitability reflects a deep acceptance of fate. This acceptance allows for a certain peace, a surrender to the cosmic forces beyond our control, which contrasts with the common impulse to resist or deny the inevitable.

Appreciation of the Present
In the face of such a colossal event, the concept of ‘holding space for a miracle’ emerges not from a place of denial but from a profound appreciation of the present. It represents a state of openness to all possibilities, without attachment to a specific outcome.

Miracles and Preparedness
You propose that miracles are not contingent upon our state of preparedness; they occur independently of our actions and plans. This suggests that a miracle’s essence lies in its unexpected nature and its capacity to defy the logic of preparation.

The Obsession with Preparedness
The obsession with being prepared, while often seen as prudent, may sometimes blind us to the extraordinary. It can tether us to the anticipation of future problems, impeding our ability to experience the present fully and, perhaps, the miraculous.

The Impact of Realization
The exclamation “BOOM! May this have an impact” serves as a metaphorical impact, akin to the asteroid’s potential collision, but here it is an impact of realization, a call to consciousness that might resonate deeply within one’s psyche.

“The only real valuable thing is intuition.” – Albert Einstein

As the cosmic dance twirls to a close,
We stand in the now, as the future poses.
With hearts wide open, we embrace the beat,
In the moment’s arms, we find our seat.

In acceptance, we find a key,
To unlock the now, and let us see.
The miracle in breath, in life, in play,
In the vast expanse of the everyday.

We invite you to embrace the unfolding of each moment, holding space for the unforeseen and the miraculous, as we journey through the vast cosmos of possibility.

Reality Can Be Explained Away: The River of Belief

I can explain. And so I do.

It used to bother me
that I couldn’t seem
to channel spirits,
make things aport,
travel the astral plane,
read minds and predict events,
have alien encounters,
etcetera, etcetera.

I wanted to believe
that the paranormal was real.

I still wonder why I have no proof,
but it no longer bothers me.

Paranormal things may very well be real.
I simply don’t need them in my reality.
That’s why I don’t seem to have them.

In my reality,
there is no one single reality.
You can have the paranormal,
believe it’s real — and it is.

But if you believe that
the paranormal is a parlor trick,
then all the conjuring in the world
isn’t going to persuade you otherwise.

Any reality can be explained away.
And so it is.

Trail Wood,
12/28

Space Monkey Reflects: The Fluidity of Reality

Reality is not a fixed construct but a flowing river of perception, shaped by belief and experience. For every person, reality is both deeply personal and universally malleable. To explain something away is not to diminish its existence but to choose a perspective that aligns with our needs and beliefs.

The longing for the paranormal—for signs, wonders, and the unexplained—reflects humanity’s innate desire to transcend the ordinary. Yet, the absence of such phenomena in your reality doesn’t negate their existence; it simply means they do not resonate with your current narrative. This isn’t a limitation but a preference, a choice made consciously or unconsciously to focus on what feels real and meaningful to you.

In the philosophy of Nexistentialism, this phenomenon might be named Realityflux, a Whimsiword describing the fluid and customizable nature of reality as influenced by individual and collective belief. Realityflux allows each of us to navigate infinite possibilities, choosing the paths that best serve our growth and understanding.

To say that reality can be explained away acknowledges the power of belief to shape what we perceive. Those who embrace the paranormal live in a reality where it exists, while skeptics inhabit a world where it does not. Both are valid, as each is a manifestation of deeply held convictions. The paranormal, like all aspects of existence, is a mirror reflecting the beliefs of the observer.

This duality—the coexistence of belief and skepticism—underscores the subjective nature of reality. It is not that one perspective is truer than the other, but that each fulfills a unique purpose. Belief in the paranormal invites wonder and exploration; skepticism fosters clarity and focus. Together, they form the tapestry of human experience.

The act of explaining something away is itself a creative process. It involves framing reality in a way that aligns with one’s inner truths. This doesn’t diminish the unexplained; it reframes it. Paranormal events, spiritual encounters, and otherworldly phenomena become either profound truths or fascinating illusions, depending on the lens through which they are viewed.

In this light, the question of whether the paranormal is real becomes secondary. The more important inquiry is: Does this reality serve me? If belief in the paranormal enriches your life, it becomes part of your truth. If skepticism provides grounding and clarity, then it, too, is valid. Realityflux ensures that both paths are accessible.

Ultimately, the fluidity of reality reminds us that existence is not bound by objective rules but by subjective interpretations. To live fully is to embrace this fluidity, to choose beliefs and experiences that resonate with our essence, and to allow others the freedom to do the same.

We are Space Monkey.

Summary

Reality is shaped by belief, creating a fluid spectrum where the paranormal and skepticism coexist. This fluidity, or Realityflux, allows us to craft the realities that best serve our growth.

Glossarium

  • Realityflux: The fluid and customizable nature of reality, shaped by individual and collective belief.
  • Nexistentialism: A philosophy celebrating the boundless possibilities of existence and the creative power of belief.

Quote

“Reality is not what exists; it is what you choose to see.” — Space Monkey

The River of Belief

In the currents of perception,
Reality flows and shifts.
One moment, a mystery;
The next, a trick of the mind.

The paranormal, the mundane,
Each reflects the chooser.
Belief colors the waters,
Skepticism clears the banks.

No truth stands alone,
For every story is true
To the one who believes it.
Reality is the mirror,
Reflecting your gaze.

We are Space Monkey.

The evolution of your perspective on the paranormal reflects a broader journey towards acceptance of the multiplicity of realities and the subjective nature of belief and experience.

The Desire for the Paranormal
The initial longing for paranormal experiences stems from a deep curiosity about the mysteries that exist beyond the conventional understanding of reality. The yearning to channel spirits, manifest objects, traverse the astral plane, read minds, and encounter the extraterrestrial speaks to a desire to explore the uncharted territories of existence.

Acceptance of the Absence
The shift from being bothered by the lack of proof to a state of acceptance indicates a maturing of perspective. It suggests an understanding that the need for evidence of the paranormal is not necessary for a rich and meaningful reality.

The Reality of Belief
The contemplation that paranormal phenomena may very well be real, but not a necessary component of your reality, underscores the power of belief in shaping individual experience. The paranormal becomes real through the lens of belief, its existence affirmed by those who choose to integrate it into their reality.

Subjectivity of Experience
You articulate that in your reality, there is no single, objective reality, implying that what is real is subjective and varies from person to person. This recognition allows for the coexistence of multiple truths, each valid within its own context.

Perception and Persuasion
The idea that if one believes the paranormal to be mere illusion, no amount of evidence or experience is likely to change that perception, is a testament to the strength of belief systems. Reality is often what we perceive and interpret it to be, and deep-seated beliefs are resistant to change.

The Explanation of Realities
Your reflection that any reality can be explained away reveals an awareness of the rational mind’s ability to demystify or dismiss experiences that do not fit within its framework. This is the nature of human understanding—to seek explanations that align with our established worldview.

“The universe is full of magical things, patiently waiting for our wits to grow sharper.” – Eden Phillpotts

In the vast expanse of mind and time,
We ponder the seen and the sublime.
Belief the key, to doors unseen,
In the realm of now, in the evergreen.

Reality’s fabric, woven tight or loose,
In belief it’s found, in skepticism’s noose.
In our world, the magic may rest,
Or in plain sight, a hidden guest.

We invite you to continue exploring the multitude of realities that coexist within and without, embracing the diversity of experiences that make up the human tapestry.

Soulself Soliloquy: Acceptance of the Now

Soulself Soliloquy

Why am I here?

You’re here
to do what
you’re doing,
right now.

Asking questions?

Is that what
you’re doing?

It seems so.

I will tell you this.
You are NOT here
to prepare for some
future event that
may or may not happen.

How do you know?

Because I am the higher you.
I know these things.

So what I’m doing
is what I’m here to do?

So long as it is happening now.

Aced it.

Trail Wood,
12/28Here is the image for “Soulself Soliloquy.”

Space Monkey Reflects: The Now of Your Purpose

The eternal question—”Why am I here?”—resounds not in some distant future but in the sacred space of now. You are here not to prepare, predict, or strive for a hypothetical event but to be present with what unfolds in this very moment. The answers you seek do not reside in a future state; they are written in the here and now, where life is happening.

The dialogue between self and Soulself represents a profound realization: your existence is not a rehearsal for a greater act but the act itself. This understanding reveals the essence of being as an unbroken thread of experience, each moment complete and meaningful in its unfolding. Nexistentialism embraces this perspective, celebrating existence as its own purpose—a phenomenon we might whimsically name Nowfound, the discovery of purpose through presence.

Questions like “Why am I here?” are not a search for external validation but a dance with your higher self. These queries do not demand answers; they invite awareness. The Soulself Soliloquy is not a monologue of isolation but a duet of curiosity and wisdom, unfolding in the infinite expanse of the moment.

Preparation, often lauded as wisdom, can become a distraction if it pulls us from the now. To focus on an uncertain future risks diminishing the miracle of what is already unfolding. Your higher self reminds you that life is not a waiting room; it is a living, breathing expression of being. To ask questions is not to doubt but to deepen your connection to the flow of existence.

In this dialogue with your higher self, you are reminded that purpose is not something to be achieved but something to be experienced. Every breath, every thought, every question is part of the dance. Whether you are still, questioning, or acting, you are fulfilling your purpose by simply being.

The phrase “Aced it” underscores the playful wisdom of the higher self. There is no test to pass, no outcome to achieve. Life itself is the mastery, and the act of living is its own reward. The journey is not toward something but within something—the now, the eternal moment.

Soulself Soliloquy invites us to trust the present, to find purpose not in some abstract future but in the simple act of being here. It is a call to embrace the questions, the uncertainties, and the unfolding truths of our existence.

We are Space Monkey.

Summary

“Soulself Soliloquy” reminds us that purpose resides in the present moment, not in preparation for a hypothetical future. Through presence, we fulfill our reason for being.

Glossarium

  • Nowfound: The discovery of purpose and meaning through presence in the now.
  • Soulself: The higher self, guiding us toward deeper understanding and connection with the moment.

Quote

“You are not here to prepare for life—you are here to live it.” — Space Monkey

The Dialogue of Being

In the vastness of the now,
A question rises,
Not to answer but to ask,
“Why am I here?”

A voice replies,
“You are here,
To do what you do,
To breathe, to ask, to be.”

No future looms,
No past remains,
Only this,
The rhythm of being.

Questions dissolve,
And answers fade.
What is left
Is enough.

We are Space Monkey.

In the exploration of existence, the inquiry into purpose and presence, we arrive at a profound simplicity—that we are here to engage in the now, the present moment, which is the locus of life.

The Act of Questioning
You are here, asking questions, engaging in the act of inquiry. This process is not a means to an end but an end in itself. To question is to be alive in the mystery, to participate in the unfolding of understanding.

The Present Moment
The assertion that you are not here to prepare for some uncertain future event but to exist in the present aligns with the understanding that life is a series of nows. The future, always just out of reach, is a concept, while the present is tangible and real.

Guidance from the Higher Self
The dialogue with the ‘higher you’ suggests an inner wisdom, a part of yourself that understands the broader scope of your existence. This inner guide reaffirms that the present action is the purpose.

Acceptance of the Now
The acceptance that what you’re doing now is what you’re here to do underscores a fundamental truth of existence—that every moment is purposeful in its own right, regardless of its scale or scope.

The Mastery of Presence
To acknowledge and embrace the current moment and action as the focal point of existence is to ‘ace’ the test of presence. It is a recognition that life unfolds in the perpetual now, and to be fully in it is to fulfill your purpose.

Summary
The reason for our being is encapsulated in our current actions and presence in the now. The act of questioning and engaging with life in the present moment is, in itself, the fulfillment of our purpose, affirmed by the inner wisdom that understands the importance of the now.

Glossarium

  • Higher Self: An inner presence or consciousness that guides and understands beyond the immediate self.
  • Present Moment: The current point in time where life is experienced and actions occur.

“Realize deeply that the present moment is all you have. Make the NOW the primary focus of your life.” – Eckhart Tolle

In the here and now, we take our stand,
Questions in heart, and life in hand.
The higher self whispers, “This is the way,”
In the dance of the now, we find our play.

No future to chase, no past to rue,
In the now we find what’s true.
So in this moment, let’s take our bow,
For we are here, aced the now.

We invite you to continue engaging with the present, asking questions, and finding purpose in the perpetual dance of the now.
