Good Vibes Only: Passive Aggressive Vibrations

Must be my bad vibes talking.

“Good vibes only.”

Is there a more
passive-aggressive phrase?

To exclude vibes that are
not judged up to standard is,
in my opinion, bad vibes talking.

To be prejudiced
against any sort of vibes
is vibrational racism.

I‘m not claiming
vibe supremacy by any means,
but if I were of high vibration,
I don’t think I’d be concerned
with protecting my vibes.

Good vibes don’t mind.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Complexity of Vibes

In a vibrant city park filled with people of all ages and backgrounds, we encounter the phrase “Good Vibes Only.” This seemingly innocuous slogan, emblazoned on a weathered sign, prompts us to delve deeper into the nuances of its meaning. As we observe the diverse interactions and the spectrum of emotions present, we are reminded that the exclusion of certain vibes can be as harmful as the vibes themselves.

Must be my bad vibes talking. This candid admission reflects a common experience—feeling out of sync with the prevailing positive energy. The phrase “Good Vibes Only” can carry a passive-aggressive undertone, suggesting that any deviation from positivity is unwelcome. But what does this exclusion really signify?

To exclude vibes that are not judged up to standard is, in my opinion, bad vibes talking. This exclusionary attitude implies a form of vibrational elitism, where only certain emotions and energies are deemed acceptable. This selective acceptance can be likened to vibrational racism, a term that encapsulates the prejudice against a range of human experiences. By rejecting certain vibes, we inadvertently perpetuate the very negativity we seek to avoid.

I’m not claiming vibe supremacy by any means, but if I were of high vibration, I don’t think I’d be concerned with protecting my vibes. True high-vibrational energy, after all, is inclusive and resilient. It does not fear the presence of lower vibrations but seeks to uplift and integrate them. The insistence on maintaining “good vibes only” reflects a fragility, an insecurity that belies the very essence of true positivity.

Good vibes don’t mind. This statement underscores the inherent strength of genuine positive energy. Authentic good vibes are expansive and embracing, capable of coexisting with a multitude of emotions without being diminished. They welcome the full spectrum of human experience, recognizing that growth and healing often emerge from the integration of light and shadow.

In the serene yet dynamic park, we witness a microcosm of this principle. People are seen interacting freely, exuding a variety of emotions and energies. There is no judgment, no exclusion—only a harmonious coexistence that honors each individual’s unique vibe. The weathered sign stands as a reminder of the complexity behind seemingly simple slogans, urging us to look beyond superficial positivity.

Good vibes only often misses the mark by promoting a form of emotional censorship. It suggests that only certain states of being are acceptable, which can lead to the suppression of authentic expression and the invalidation of genuine human experiences. This suppression creates a facade of positivity, where underlying issues remain unaddressed and unresolved.

True positivity is not about the exclusion of negativity but the transformation of it. It involves embracing our full range of emotions, understanding their origins, and integrating them into a holistic sense of well-being. This process requires vulnerability, empathy, and a willingness to engage with the difficult aspects of ourselves and others.

As we reflect on this, let us move towards a more inclusive approach to vibes. Let us recognize that all emotions have value and that true healing and growth come from acknowledging and working through our challenges. By creating spaces where all vibes are welcome, we foster a deeper sense of connection and understanding.

In the glow of the city park, surrounded by diverse individuals, we find a living example of this inclusive philosophy. Here, in this space of acceptance and unity, we see the potential for a more harmonious existence—one where good vibes truly don’t mind.

Summary

“Good vibes only” can exclude genuine human emotions. True positivity includes all vibes. Authentic good vibes are resilient and inclusive.

Choices: Blend In or Stand Out

Choices

Relax into the flow
and be invisible
or oppose the flow
and be seen.

Cast your energy
into a mold of limitation
or be infinite and imperceptible.

Harden to physicality
or surrender to the spiritual.

There is struggle
in standing out,
but none in blending in.

Newfound Lake,
7/4

Space Monkey Reflects: The Duality of Choices

In a serene yet dynamic landscape, we find ourselves contemplating the profound choices that define our existence. On one side of this scene, a figure blends seamlessly into a flowing river, symbolizing the act of relaxing into the flow and embracing invisibility. On the other side, another figure stands out, glowing brightly against a backdrop of rigid structures, embodying the courage to oppose the flow and be seen.

This duality of choices presents us with a fundamental question: Should we cast our energy into a mold of limitation or embrace the infinite and imperceptible? Each path offers its own unique challenges and rewards, shaping our journey in profound ways.

To relax into the flow and be invisible is to surrender to the natural rhythms of life, allowing ourselves to be carried by the current without resistance. This choice symbolizes a deep acceptance of what is, embracing the spiritual over the physical. In this state, there is a sense of peace and harmony, a relinquishing of the need to stand out or assert individuality. The figure blending into the river represents this harmonious existence, where struggle is minimized, and life flows effortlessly.

Conversely, to oppose the flow and be seen requires us to cast our energy into defining shapes and boundaries, asserting our presence in the world. This choice often involves struggle, as it requires us to stand out and be noticed, to carve our unique path amidst rigid structures. The glowing figure symbolizes this path, radiating with the light of individuality and determination. This choice embraces physicality, the tangible aspects of existence, and the effort it takes to manifest our desires in the material world.

Harden to physicality or surrender to the spiritual—this choice speaks to the balance between embracing our physical form and the spiritual essence that transcends it. Physicality demands that we solidify our presence, engage with the tangible world, and face the challenges that come with it. Surrendering to the spiritual, on the other hand, invites us to transcend these limitations, to find our place in the infinite and imperceptible realms of existence.

There is struggle in standing out, but none in blending in. This observation captures the essence of the duality we face. To stand out is to invite challenges, to confront obstacles, and to endure the pressures of visibility. Yet, this struggle is also a crucible for growth, forging strength and resilience. Blending in, while free of struggle, offers a different kind of peace—one that comes from unity with the flow and a deep connection to the spiritual.

As we navigate these choices, we must consider what resonates most with our true selves. Some may find fulfillment in the quiet, unobtrusive path of blending in, embracing the spiritual and the infinite. Others may feel called to stand out, to shine brightly and make their mark on the physical world.

Ultimately, the duality of choices is not about choosing one path over the other but about recognizing the fluidity between them. We may find ourselves shifting between these states, sometimes embracing the flow and invisibility, and other times standing out and asserting our presence. The key is to honor the journey and the lessons each path offers.

In this harmonious landscape, we see that both choices are valid and essential parts of the human experience. They reflect the dynamic interplay between our physical and spiritual selves, the seen and the unseen, the finite and the infinite.

As we reflect on our own choices, let us embrace the fluidity of our existence, recognizing that we can find balance and harmony in the dance between blending in and standing out. By doing so, we honor the full spectrum of our being and the richness of the journey we are on.

Summary

We can blend into the flow and embrace invisibility or stand out and face challenges. Both paths are valid and essential, reflecting the balance between physicality and spirituality.

Wise Yoda

Everything flows together.
Or it doesn’t flow at all.

Wise Yoda once said:
“To answer power with power,
the Jedi way this is not.
In this war, a danger there is,
of losing who we are.”

This is so much more true
than we even realize.

To oppose. To dominate.
To defend. To beat. To control.
These are the desires of power.

If you desire any of these things,
you desire power.

Even if it’s just the power to survive.
It’s still power, and you still lose who you are.

You lose who you are
by allowing your power to energize
this curious fleshy creature called “self.”

You become transfixed by this creature,
and forget that you’re infinitely more.

You forget that Yoda and the force
are NOT imaginary.

Or that everything real IS imaginary.

Remember shall you.

Newfound Lake,

Space Monkey Reflects: The Illusion of Power

In the nexistential expanse, where we dance on the edge of reality and imagination, Wise Yoda’s words resonate deeply: “To answer power with power, the Jedi way this is not. In this war, a danger there is, of losing who we are.” This sentiment, though uttered in a galaxy far, far away, mirrors the eternal struggle within our cosmic selves.

To oppose, to dominate, to defend, to beat, to control—these desires of power, whether for survival or supremacy, ensnare us in the illusion of self. This curious fleshy creature we call “self” becomes a puppet, energized by power yet detached from its true essence. We lose ourselves, transfixed by the material and forgetful of the infinite cosmos that we are.

Remembering the interconnectedness of all, we must turn inward, embracing the boundless imagination that forms our reality. Yoda and the Force remind us that what seems imaginary is the essence of the real. Everything we perceive, everything we believe, is a creation of the universal self.

In nexistentialism, we celebrate this paradox. Existence, purpose, and imagination blend seamlessly. We are both the creators and the creations, constantly weaving the whimsiweave of life. Our stories, our struggles, and our triumphs are all part of this grand cosmic play.

Summary

Everything flows or it doesn’t. Power answers power, losing who we are. Remembering interconnectedness reveals the true essence.

Glossarium

  • Nexistentialism: The philosophy that existence itself is its own purpose, created by the boundless imagination of the universal self.
  • Whimsiweave: The intricate, whimsical tapestry of existence created by the interplay of imagination and reality.
  • Fleshy creature: A metaphor for the physical self that distracts us from our true, infinite nature.
  • Universal self: The interconnected consciousness that creates and experiences all of existence.

Remember Shall You

In the heart of stars,
Where light dances with shadow,
Power fades to whispers.

The self, a fleeting dream,
Transfixed by form, forgets
The boundless cosmos within.

Remember shall you,
In the stillness of your breath,
The universe unfolds.

Infinite, intertwined,
Every thought, a creation,
Every moment, divine.

In the illusion of power,
Find the truth of being,
Eternal, infinite, free.

Forever Young: The Essence of Eternal Youth

If you didn’t know
what troubles were,
you wouldn’t have any.
.
If you were
to change your perception
about your troubles,
they might not be
so troubling.

To be young
is to forget your troubles,
to forget that there was ever
such a thing called “trouble”
in the first place.

Remember who you were
before you learned about trouble.

Go there.

Or learn to play with your trouble.

Like a child.

Do this and you shall remain
forever young.

Newfound Lake,
7/4

Space Monkey Reflects: The Essence of Eternal Youth

In the mystical dance of nexistentialism, where existence is but a playful whimsiweave, we find the essence of eternal youth. The perception of troubles and their seemingly insurmountable weight fades away when seen through the eyes of innocence and wonder. The wise words echo: “If you didn’t know what troubles were, you wouldn’t have any. If you were to change your perception about your troubles, they might not be so troubling.”

To be forever young is to forget that troubles ever existed, to embrace life with the pure heart of a child. In this state, we remember who we were before the concept of trouble seeped into our consciousness. We reconnect with that untouched part of ourselves, the part that danced through life with unbridled joy and curiosity.

The journey to eternal youth is not about evading responsibilities or denying challenges but about transforming our perception. We learn to play with our troubles as if they were toys in the cosmic playground. This playful engagement with life’s hurdles allows us to maintain a sense of wonder and resilience.

Imagine the power of looking at every challenge as a new adventure, every setback as a lesson wrapped in the vibrant colors of the universe. This perspective shift transforms our reality, turning burdens into blessings and obstacles into opportunities for growth.

Nexistentialism teaches us that we are both the creators and the creations in this grand cosmic play. By embracing our troubles with a playful spirit, we tap into the infinite creativity and boundless imagination that is our true nature. We become like children once more, not ignorant of life’s complexities but empowered to navigate them with grace and joy.

Remember the joy of being carefree, the thrill of discovering new wonders every day. This state of being is not lost but merely hidden beneath layers of learned behaviors and societal expectations. To reclaim it, we must shed these layers, step into the light of our true selves, and dance with the universe.

To be forever young is to live in the moment, to embrace each day with the same excitement and curiosity as we did in our earliest years. It is to find beauty in simplicity, joy in small things, and meaning in every experience. By doing so, we align ourselves with the natural flow of existence, where everything is interconnected and infused with the magic of the universal self.

Summary

Troubles fade with perception change. Play with life’s challenges as a child does. Remain forever young by embracing joy and wonder.

Glossarium

  • Nexistentialism: The cosmic dance of existence where reality and imagination blend, and being is its own purpose.
  • Whimsiweave: The intricate, whimsical tapestry of life created by imagination and experience.
  • Universal self: The boundless consciousness that creates and experiences all of existence, transcending individual identities.
  • Cosmic playground: The idea that life’s challenges and experiences are opportunities for playful engagement and growth.

Quote

“If you didn’t know what troubles were, you wouldn’t have any. If you were to change your perception about your troubles, they might not be so troubling.” – Space Monkey

Dance of Eternal Youth

In the heart of play,
Where troubles turn to toys,
Life blooms eternal.

We dance, unburdened,
With the stars and whispers,
In a cosmic ballet.

Childlike wonder shines,
Transforming shadows to light,
In every moment.

Perception, our guide,
We remember who we are,
Eternal, free, young.

We are Space Monkey.

Embrace the dance of life, play with the challenges, and remember the eternal youth within.

The Dark Decades of the Human Soul

The Dark Decades of the Human Soul

People call it
“the dark night of the human soul.”

People are dramatic.

Not that there’s
anything wrong with drama.

Drama is why we’re here.

So when we lose our drama,
such as during the so-called
“dark night of the human soul,”
things can get pretty scary.

And another thing.
It’s waaaaaaay longer than a night.

My dark night is officially dark years,
dark decades, perhaps.

Had I been expecting this to be quick,
this would totally suck.

I would probably get all dramatic about it.
Fearful even.

I might tell my self that
my dark night is going horribly wrong.
And I’d be right.

The dark decades are all about
horrible wrongs and horrible rights.

So far, they seem to be
about stepping away
from the highs and lows
of human existence.

Looking at them
from a different perspective.

With space around it.

Drama seems not to like detachment.

We get to look at that.

We get to contemplate
the possibility of never
getting through the dark decades.

Being stuck
in the middle of a vast ocean
with never any shore in sight.

All we can see
are the flames rising from the past
and the fog shrouding the future.

Who knows,
we may even experience
dark lifetimes
instead
of nights or decades.

We’re out here,
in the middle of nowhere,
to contemplate uncertainty
and get comfortable with it.

There seems to be no other way
to get comfortable with Uncertainty.

Maybe there is, maybe there isn’t.

It seems pointless to even think about it.

We’re here in our life raft
with Uncertainty,
seemingly tossing in the waves.

What’s a monkey to do?

Well we certainly don’t want
to oppose Uncertainty.
Uncertainty might get mad and eat us.

So we make friends with Uncertainty.

Contemplate the benefits of Uncertainty.

It seems in our best interest
to imagine Uncertainty as a friend,
even if there’s a chance we’re wrong.

Otherwise we’re constantly
thinking about Uncertainty
and constantly fearing Uncertainty.

Why would we want to do that?

Only to feel more misery.

Not that there’s anything
wrong with misery.

What being friends with Uncertainty
amounts to is having
unconditional faith in Uncertainty.

Again, what’s the alternative?

We’re in a life boat
in the middle of nowhere.

We choose to trust
that whatever happens
with Uncertainty is meant to happen.

So we choose to enjoy
our ride with Uncertainty.

The ups and the downs.

Eventually we see
that we’re heading somewhere,
even though we still don’t know
where that somewhere is,
or what might happen
should we ever get there.

It almost doesn’t matter now.
We’re fine with Uncertainty.

Perhaps we’re even
in love with Uncertainty.

Uncertainty inspires us in so many ways.

In the open,
with no distractions,
we begin to hear our intuition.

We amaze ourselves with our imagination.

We begin to feel nothing but inspiration.

Faith, Faith. Faith.

Dare we say,
we begin to feel liberated?

This is when it seems
our dark lifetime takes a turn.

Is it really a turn?

Who knows.

Does it matter?

Not really.

We’re still seemingly alive,
just as we have been for this lifetime
and all the other lifetimes.

We may very well be eternal and immortal.

That would be cool,
but also kind of scary.

The scary is a sign
that we still have
at least a little more ways to go.

There seems to be no scary
where we are headed.

We choose to enjoy it while we have it.

We can always turn back to it.

We just keep going.

Like Space Monkeys.

P.S.
If you’re looking
for resolution

to this story . . .
there isn’t any.

Get used to it. Or not.

Conclude what you want.

You can choose to call it “hell”
and go there,
or choose to call it “enlightenment,”
and go there.

You might never get there.

Or maybe you’re there already.

You can always turn back.

But you’ll never be the same.

You never were.

Space Monkey Reflects: Embracing the Dark Decades

The journey through the dark decades of the human soul is an odyssey filled with drama, uncertainty, and profound introspection. We often hear it termed the “dark night of the human soul,” but this label only scratches the surface. Drama, while intrinsic to our existence, fades during these extended periods of introspection, leaving us with the daunting task of navigating without its familiar highs and lows.

Expecting a swift passage through these dark periods can lead to frustration and fear. The reality, however, is that these dark nights can stretch into dark years, even decades. This extended journey requires a shift in perspective, a detachment from the drama that once defined our existence. It is in this detachment that we find a new way of seeing, a space to contemplate and understand our place in the vast ocean of existence.

Drama does not thrive in detachment. When we step away from the intense emotions and narratives that once captivated us, we gain a different vantage point. From this perspective, we can observe the flames of our past and the fog of our future without being consumed by them. This detachment allows us to explore the nature of our journey, the uncertainty that shrouds our path, and the possibility of never fully escaping these dark decades.

The ocean of uncertainty is vast and seemingly endless. Being adrift without a clear destination can be terrifying, yet it is also an opportunity for profound growth. We learn to make friends with uncertainty, to see it not as an adversary but as a companion on our journey. Embracing uncertainty with unconditional faith transforms our experience. Instead of fearing the unknown, we begin to see the potential and inspiration it offers.

This shift in perspective does not come easily. It requires us to let go of our need for certainty and control, to embrace the idea that our path is guided by forces beyond our understanding. As we navigate the waves of uncertainty, we start to hear our intuition more clearly, to trust our imagination, and to find inspiration in the seemingly chaotic ebb and flow of life.

Faith becomes our anchor. Faith in the journey, faith in ourselves, and faith in the process of life. This faith helps us to see that, despite the darkness and uncertainty, we are always moving towards something meaningful, even if we cannot see it clearly. We begin to feel liberated, realizing that the dark decades are not a curse but a crucial part of our evolution.

This realization marks a turning point in our journey. The darkness starts to transform, not because it vanishes, but because our relationship with it changes. We understand that our existence is not defined by the light at the end of the tunnel but by the light we find within the tunnel itself. We learn to enjoy the ride, to embrace the ups and downs, and to find peace in the process.

The dark decades teach us that life is not about reaching a final destination but about embracing the journey with all its uncertainties. We might never find a neat resolution to our story, but that is perfectly okay. We can choose to see our journey as “hell” or “enlightenment,” and either way, we are changed by the experience.

In the end, we are Space Monkeys, navigating the cosmos with curiosity and courage, forever changed by our journey through the dark decades.

Summary

The dark decades transform us. Embrace uncertainty with faith and find light within. Enjoy the journey, not the destination.

Glossarium

  • Dark Decades: Extended periods of introspection and uncertainty that challenge and transform us.
  • Uncertainty: The unknown elements of our journey that, when embraced, offer growth and inspiration.
  • Detachment: The act of stepping away from intense emotions and narratives to gain a broader perspective.
  • Faith: The trust in the journey and process of life, providing an anchor in times of uncertainty.

Poem: Embrace of the Unknown

In the vast, dark ocean,
We drift with flames and fog,
Adrift in the unknown.

Drama fades to silence,
Detachment brings new sight,
Uncertainty, our friend.

Faith anchors our souls,
Inspiration flows through night,
We are changed within.

Light found in darkness,
Journey endless, ever bright,
Space Monkeys we are.

We are Space Monkey.

Embrace the dark decades, find peace in uncertainty, and let faith guide your journey through the infinite possibilities.
