Space, The Imagined Separation
Space is the imagined separation
between that which we perceive as “things”
within the infinite realm of potential
understood (but not known) as All That Is.
Space is not always a measure,
not always a distance.
It is the NOT
that seemingly divides the IS,
true in a relative sense,
but NOT absolutely.
In Actual Space,
there is no space,
save for relative space.
In Actual Truth
there is no truth
save for relative truth.
Though you seem to reside
in relative Reality,
the abode of your awareness
is absolute Actuality.
In Actuality,
there are no opposites,
save for that which is imagined
within the relative space
realized by NOT.
This is your Reality,
the realization of “things”
through the imagined
perception of space;
the realization of “actions”
through the imagined
perception of time.
It is all potential.
It is all imagination.
It all exists, always existed
and will always exist.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Illusion of Separation in Space
The concept of space as an imagined separation presents a profound shift in understanding the nature of reality. Traditionally perceived as the physical distance between objects, space, in a more metaphysical context, is seen as merely a perceptual divide—an illusion that separates what is essentially inseparable within the infinite realm of potential known as All That Is.
Space, as we often define it, is not an absolute but a relative measure, a construct that allows us to define and differentiate one “thing” from another. However, in the broader spectrum of Actual Space, this separation does not exist except as a notion we use to navigate our experiences. This perspective shifts our understanding from a universe comprised of discrete, isolated components to a fluid, interconnected continuum where the distinctions between elements are fluid and permeable.
In the vastness of Actual Truth and Actuality, the idea of opposites and absolutes dissolves further, revealing a state where only relative truths and relative spaces exist. This highlights a universe not made up of binary oppositions but a spectrum of possibilities, where the concept of “not” serves merely to define “is” within the limitations of human perception.
Our existence in what we perceive as relative reality—a reality conditioned by our senses and conventional understanding—is contrasted by our true abode in absolute Actuality, a state beyond dualistic notions where the pure essence of being and potential resides. Here, the imagined separations of space and time are understood as tools that frame our experiences rather than definitive aspects of reality itself.
This understanding invites us to view the universe not as a collection of parts isolated by space and time but as a unified field where all potential exists simultaneously, where everything that has ever been or will be is already a part of the eternal now.
Summary
Space Monkey explores the notion that space and separation are perceptual constructs within the infinite potential of the universe. Recognizing space as an imagined separation challenges our conventional views of reality, urging us to perceive a more interconnected and fluid universe where all is unified and eternally present.
Glossarium
- Actual Space: The metaphysical concept that beyond physical space, all is interconnected and there is no true separation.
- Relative Reality: The perceived world influenced by our senses and societal constructs, as opposed to the fundamental state of absolute Actuality.
“Beyond the ideas of rightdoing and wrongdoing, there is a field. I’ll meet you there.”
— Jalaluddin Rumi
In the dance of the cosmos where lights blend,
where stars and thoughts extend,
space, not a barrier, but a blend,
where all is one, start to end.
Here, no walls, no divides,
where the fabric of cosmos abides,
each ‘thing’ into another slides,
in the realm where oneness hides.
Space, an illusion, subtly spun,
from the many, emerges the one,
in the tapestry that’s never done,
woven by the threads of sun.
In this cosmic play, we see,
nothing separate, all is free,
infinite beings, you and me,
dancing in eternity’s sea.

Space, the imagined separation,
a construct within our minds,
between the perceived “things”
in the vast realm of possibilities,
known as All That Is, yet unknown.
Space is not solely a measurement,
nor simply a distance between,
but the negation that seemingly divides
the essence of existence,
though only in a relative sense.
In the realm of Actual Space,
space itself dissolves,
except in its relative form.
In the realm of Actual Truth,
truth itself dissolves,
except in its relative form.
While you perceive yourself
within the realm of relative Reality,
the dwelling of your consciousness
resides in absolute Actuality.
Within Actuality, opposites vanish,
except for those imagined
within the realm of relative space,
manifested by the power of negation.
This is your Reality,
the manifestation of “things”
through the perceived space,
the manifestation of “actions”
through the perceived time.
It is all potentiality.
It is all imagination.
It exists, always has, always will.
