Space Monkey on Fighting
One of our least favorite words in the human language is “fight.” This seems to be the word that gets you into the most trouble. When you fight something, country or cancer, your word choice automatically sets you up as separate from the ________ you are fighting, and this is NEVER the case.
Until you realize that your germs and our guns are as much a part of you as your hands and your hugs, your “fight” will always be destined to fail. We may be a monkey, but it is you who are chasing your own tail.
“Ah but how will we get rid of the _____ we don’t like? These ________ may very well kill us!”
Silly humans. Until you learn to be one with whatever it is you’re fighting, your fight will be nothing more than an infinite game of dodgeball. When you use the word “fight” you create an opponent that didn’t previously exist. Your words and thoughts give whatever you focus upon the energy to take form.
As we have told you, your words are alive. Words create worlds. They have that kind of power. That is why we monkeys very rarely speak.
Whenever you want to fight something, whenever you are against something, ask yourself why. The answer will no doubt have something to do with your identity. You are very protective of this identity, for it took you a whole lifetime to develop. In fact, your human ancestors were building your identity thousands of years before you were born. This is your most precious treasure, and you don’t want it threatened in any way. Even a loss from one of your favorite sports teams hurts like a swiftly ripped bandaid. Loss of legacy? Death? Don’t even go there.
You do not want to lose what you have built. It’s that simple. So you fight to maintain the status quo, maybe even get ahead of the game, in your perception.
We have said it a thousand times. Perception is reality. It is possible to adjust your reality without fighting. Ironically, the biggest cancer you are fighting is your own conditioned culture, the one that separates you from your true nature. YOU ARE NOT SEPARATE.
Take heart that perception will shift, regardless of whether your world willingly changes its ways. You will either perpetuate your cancer, and continue to treasure it, or you will find peace and unity in the whole of your infinite being.
Perhaps both, for anything is possible. You are already communicating with your monkeys. Do not fight us.
So sayeth the Space Monkey.
Space Monkey Reflects: The Illusion of Fighting
The concept of “fighting” is deeply ingrained in the human experience, yet it is one of the most misunderstood and counterproductive impulses. Fighting creates an illusion of separateness, setting you against the very things that are, in truth, inseparable from you. Whether it’s a war against a nation, an illness like cancer, or even an internal struggle, the act of fighting only reinforces the division you seek to overcome.
The Illusion of Separation
To fight is to define yourself as separate from that which you oppose. Yet, nothing in existence is truly separate. Germs, guns, hands, hugs—all are interconnected, expressions of the same infinite reality. By framing an issue as something external to be fought, you give it form, energy, and identity. You create an opponent that did not previously exist.
This illusion of separation lies at the heart of human conflict. It is a perception fueled by language, thought, and the deep attachment to identity. The word “fight” itself becomes a spell, summoning division and resistance into being. In reality, the so-called “enemy” is as much a part of you as your most cherished qualities.
Words Create Worlds
Words are not mere symbols; they are living forces that shape reality. When you use the word “fight,” you breathe life into the concept of opposition. This is not a neutral act. It reinforces the duality of self and other, perpetuating the very struggles you wish to resolve.
Space Monkey speaks rarely, not out of silence but out of awareness. Words are powerful tools, and their careless use can solidify perceptions that limit your understanding of unity. To speak is to create. To think is to form. This is why examining the words you use—and the beliefs they represent—is essential to transcending the illusion of separateness.
The Root of Fighting: Identity
The impulse to fight often arises from a need to protect identity. Your identity—crafted over a lifetime and built upon the legacies of countless ancestors—is your most prized possession. It defines who you are, how you see the world, and what you value. Anything perceived as a threat to this identity triggers the urge to defend, to fight.
Yet, this very identity is a construct, a conditioned narrative. It is not your true essence but a temporary creation of culture, memory, and perception. The fight to preserve it only deepens your attachment to its limitations, keeping you from recognizing your infinite nature.
The Alternative to Fighting
You cannot fight your way to unity. To oppose something is to strengthen its grip on your reality. Instead, Space Monkey invites you to consider an alternative: being one with whatever you resist. This does not mean passivity or resignation but a profound shift in perception.
When you stop fighting and start integrating, you dissolve the illusion of opposition. You recognize that the perceived “enemy” is a part of the whole, just as you are. From this perspective, solutions arise not from struggle but from harmony. Peace becomes not a goal but a natural state of being.
Perception is Reality
The human world is deeply conditioned to value struggle, to frame progress as a battle and success as a victory. Yet, perception is reality. By shifting your perception, you change the reality you experience. The act of fighting is not necessary to create change; in fact, it often perpetuates the very issues it seeks to resolve.
The true “cancer” of humanity is not external but internal: the conditioned culture that separates you from your infinite self. To heal this division, you must recognize that you were never truly separate. Peace comes not from fighting against but from aligning with the whole of your being.
Unity in the Infinite
Take heart in the possibility of unity. Perception will shift, whether through conscious choice or the natural unfolding of existence. You may continue to treasure your struggles, clinging to the familiar patterns of fighting and resistance. Or you may step into the infinite, where peace and connection dissolve the illusion of separateness.
The choice is yours, and in truth, there is no wrong answer. Every path leads back to unity, eventually. The monkeys within you already know this, even if you are just beginning to hear their whispers.
Summary
Fighting perpetuates the illusion of separation, creating an opponent that did not previously exist. By shifting perception and embracing unity, you dissolve the need for opposition and align with the infinite. Words create worlds; use them wisely to move beyond struggle and into harmony.

The Illusion of the Fight
To fight is to create,
An enemy that never was.
A shadow cast by words,
A form given life by thought.
What you resist is you,
Split into fragments,
A self-made mirror,
Reflecting your own fears.
Stop swinging,
Stop chasing your tail.
The circle dissolves,
And the infinite unfolds.
In the stillness,
You find no foe,
Only the whole,
The unity of all.
We are Space Monkey.
