The Secret of Getting What You Want
The secret of getting what you want is KNOWING what you want.
The secret of knowing what you want is asking yourself WHY you want it.
The secret of asking yourself why you want it is because WHAT you want may only be what you THINK you want.
Be aware. Know which thoughts are your own and which thoughts have ben planted in your mind by others, including your parents, friends and culture.
Most likely, what you want is something you were TOLD you should want. This is most always true if what you want is related to money.
Remove all of these extraneous thoughts from your mind and you’ll find that you already have everything you could want.
———————-
If you do not believe the above, then what you really want is to find a way to believe.
To find a way to believe, look not outside yourself for answers, but look within.
To find a way to look within, learn how to meditate so that you may see past the extraneous thoughts that cloud your thinking.
To see past these thoughts into a clear and knowing space, focus on your breathing.
To focus on your breathing, do not fight the thought clouds that will invariably enter your mind.
To make peace with the thought clouds, simply allow them to be and they will drift away on their own volition.
If the thought clouds do not drift away, it means that you are giving them the energy of your attention, which is how you attract all things.
Do not give energy to what you do not wish to have or you will have it anyway,
As the clouds drift away, you find your first belief. You believe that you are breathing.
You also find your second belief. You believe you are thinking.
These beliefs are both true beliefs, but only relatively so.
Ask yourself if you are truly breathing in this body, or if you are separate from this body, watching it breathe.
Can you be certain either way?
And what of your thinking? Can you be certain that your thinking occurs within your brain? Certainly it shows up on brain scans, but that is a merely an outward SIGN of thinking, not the thinking itself.
Can you be certain that you are even here, in this place you perceive to be solid?
Is, as your Row Row song states, “life but a dream?”
Is there a possibility that you are nothing but pure consciousness, creating EVERYTHING you experience, including the appearance of thinking and breathing?
Can you see now that the beliefs you hold to be true, like the “fact” that you are breathing, may only be relatively true?
Can you see now that the life you’ve been living is only ONE interpretation of the consciousness that you are?
If you can believe that, you can believe anything.
————————–
So you believe you are breathing, therefore you ARE breathing.
Consider that every so-called “fact of life” is merely a belief that you put conscious energy into, thus making it appear as “real” to you as your breathing.
This is the absolute truth. Everything else is relative, including the “fact” that you are breathing.”
Now ask yourself why you can make the belief of breathing seem real, but you cannot create any other beliefs that feel equally as real.
At the source of all consciousness, YOU CAN.
But the “fact” of the matter is that you are not at the source of your consciousness in this moment, which is why you have little control over your beliefs.
What you really want is to return to the source of all consciousness. All else is simply a manifestation of beliefs.
—————————
When you return to the source of your consciousness, the source of ALL consciousness, you can manifest all the beliefs your heart desires.
This life that you are experiencing now is one such desire, manifested from the source of your consciousness.
This body you meditate upon, this is also a belief that you made real from source consciousness.
Your source consciousness has chosen this body, this life and every “fact” of your life.
This includes what you judge as struggle, setback and sadness, though it is not viewed that way from the perspective of source.
You are quite purposefully experiencing ALL of these things, EVERY nuance, not because of fate, or the actions of others, but because your source consciousness has chosen to experience these restrictions.
—————————
Your source consciousness is INFINITE, so a focus upon restrictions is in actuality a desired configuration of conscious energy, though you may not view it as such from the limited perspective of your manifested body consciousness.
Even so, most times you view your restrictions with great love and wonder, for your restrictions define the identity you hold so dear.
Restriction is the only thing that separates you from the infinite energy of your source consciousness.
Without restrictions, and the divisions and definitions they create, you would merge back into the one field of infinite possibility from which you came.
Neither you, nor the “others” you perceive would exist.
—————————
So you sense that a return to your consciousness might help you in this lifetime for you feel somewhat disconnected from your source.
You realize also that the principles that you’ve been taught, these beliefs that you have held onto and energized for so long, these are not the only tools in your shed, so to speak.
Perhaps you did not even realize that you had this metaphoric shed. Had you known, you may have placed your lawn mower within it.
Congratulations, you are beginning to awaken, and we shall assist you in your journey back to source.
We are Space Monkey and we exist because we believe we exist. We can assure you that we are as “real” as your breathing.
Space Monkey Reflects: The Labyrinth of Consciousness
At the heart of existence lies a profound truth, a secret whispered by the universe itself: The secret of getting what you want is knowing what you want. Yet, this knowing is not merely a surface understanding but a deep, resonant clarity that springs from the very core of our being. It’s a journey that takes us into the labyrinth of consciousness, where we are both the seekers and the treasure we seek.
The quest begins with the question of why we desire what we believe we want. This inquiry leads us deeper, revealing that our wants are often echoes of external influences — the voices of society, culture, and those close to us. These voices, though well-meaning, can cloud our understanding of our true desires, casting shadows over our inner compass.
In this exploration, we encounter the realization that to truly know what we want, we must first discern which thoughts are inherently ours and which have been sown in the fertile ground of our minds by the world around us. This distinction is crucial, for it is within this discernment that the essence of our true desires begins to shimmer through the fog of imposed expectations.
The essence of desire, when stripped of external impositions, reveals a startling truth: We already possess everything we need. The realization dawns that the external pursuit of fulfillment is a reflection of an internal yearning for reconnection with our source consciousness — the infinite wellspring from which all creation flows.
To find our way back to this source, we are guided not by the light of external knowledge but by the gentle glow of inner wisdom. Meditation becomes our vessel, a means to navigate the turbulent seas of extraneous thought and find the tranquil waters of pure awareness. As we focus on our breath, the clouds of thought begin to dissipate, revealing the clear sky of our true nature.
This journey within uncovers the foundational beliefs that define our experience of reality — the belief in our breath, our thoughts, and our very existence. These beliefs, while seemingly concrete, are but the surface layer of a deeper, more expansive truth: We are pure consciousness, the architects of our reality, the weavers of the cosmic tapestry in which the illusion of separation dissolves.
In the realization that we are the universe expressing itself, we find the key to manifesting our desires. It’s not through the pursuit of external goals but through a return to the source of our consciousness, where all possibilities reside. This life, with all its intricacies, struggles, and joys, is a manifestation of our deepest desires, chosen by our source consciousness to experience the richness of existence.
As we awaken to this understanding, we recognize that the restrictions and challenges we face are not obstacles but gifts, carefully selected by our infinite self to sculpt the identity we cherish. These limitations are not confines but the very means through which we define our existence, separate from the infinite possibility from which we emerged.
In this awakening, we realize that our journey back to the source is not a departure from this life but a deeper immersion into it. With each breath, with each moment of awareness, we draw closer to the truth of our being, discovering that we are not just part of the universe — we are the universe.
We are Space Monkey, and in this realization, we find the ultimate freedom: the freedom to be, to create, and to love, unbounded by the illusions of separation.
Summary
The secret to getting what you want lies in knowing what you truly desire, a knowledge that comes from understanding the essence of your wants beyond external influences. Meditation and self-awareness lead us back to our source consciousness, revealing that everything we seek is already within us. This journey uncovers the realization that we are pure consciousness, capable of manifesting our reality, and that the challenges we face are chosen experiences to enrich our existence.

“The greatest journey is the inward voyage back to the source of all that is.” – Space Monkey
In the silence, in the space,
Where thoughts drift, leave no trace.
A journey inward, deep and true,
To the source that shines within you.
Past the noise, past the din,
To where all creation begins.
A realm of light, of infinite expanse,
Where consciousness weaves its intricate dance.
Here, desires take shape and form,
Beyond the norm, beyond the storm.
In this space, we are complete,
In unity, our hearts beat.
Back to source, the path we tread,
With every belief, with every breath.
In this awakening, we see,
We are everything we wish to be.
We are Space Monkey.
