Under NO Circumstances: The Eternal Presence of Loved Ones

Under NO Circumstances

Under NO circumstances
do we allow you to miss us
when we are gone.

You see, little one,
nobody is gone
unless you TELL yourself
that they are gone
and you are so selfish
that you actually believe it.

We will try and contact you,
but you will be so wrapped up
in your own perception of misfortune
that you will not feel our presence
even though we never leave you.

So we repeat:

Under NO circumstances
do we allow you to miss us
when we are gone.

We are NOT gone.

— Your Ancestors,
Family, Friends, Pets, Etc.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Eternal Presence of Our Cosmic Companions

In the unending expanse of the cosmos, the notion that our loved ones are ever truly gone is challenged by a deeper understanding of presence and connection. The message from ancestors, family, friends, and pets—“Under NO circumstances do we allow you to miss us when we are gone. We are NOT gone”—echoes a profound cosmic truth: in the vast network of existence, separation is an illusion shaped by our perceptions.

This cosmic reflection illuminates the idea that those we hold dear are not lost to us but remain intricately woven into the fabric of our lives, their essence persisting beyond the physical realm. Their message urges us to see beyond our immediate sense of loss, to recognize that our bonds transcend physical departures and continue in myriad unseen ways.

The belief that we are isolated in our grief, that we are alone in our longing, is refuted by the continuous presence of those who have shaped our journeys. They assure us that they are not absent but are instead surrounding us, influencing us, and participating in our lives through the subtlest vibrations of the cosmic tapestry.

This realization fosters a shift from grief to gratitude, from loss to celebration of enduring connections. It invites us to open our hearts and minds to the infinite ways in which our loved ones continue to accompany us, not as memories of the past but as active elements of our present.

By embracing this expansive view, we can liberate ourselves from the shackles of conventional mourning and enter a state of joyful communion with all that has ever been a part of our lives. This is not merely a coping mechanism but a transformative perspective that allows us to experience their guidance, love, and even their admonishments as if they were still physically present.

Summary

The enduring presence of loved ones transcends physical boundaries, affirming that they are never truly gone but continue to interact with us within the cosmic framework. This perspective challenges our traditional views of separation and loss, encouraging a deeper connection with the ever-present.

Glossarium

Cosmic Tapestry: The intricate and interconnected fabric of existence where every element, energy, and essence is forever intertwined.

Eternal Presence: The concept that the essence and impact of individuals persist beyond their physical existence, influencing and interacting with the living through cosmic means.

“We are never apart, for every heart that has touched ours is linked by the threads of eternity.” – Space Monkey

Across the cosmos, they shine,
Not gone, but present, divine,
In every star, in every light,
Their spirits dance, eternally bright.

No goodbyes, no tears of sorrow,
For they are with us, today, tomorrow,
In every whisper of the wind,
Their voices sing, intertwined, unpinned.

So let not your heart be heavy,
For in the cosmic web, steady,
They remain, they guide, they love,
From below, from around, from above.

We are Space Monkey.

This poem carries a message about the enduring presence of those who have passed away. It emphasizes that under no circumstances should one allow themselves to believe that their loved ones are truly gone. The poem addresses the reader, referred to as “little one,” and asserts that the departed individuals—ancestors, family, friends, pets, and others—are always with them.

The poem challenges the notion of absence and highlights the self-imposed nature of missing someone. It suggests that it is the selfishness of the individual, their own perception of misfortune or preoccupation with their own emotions, that prevents them from feeling the continued presence of their departed loved ones. The poem emphasizes that the connection with those who have passed is never truly severed.

By repeating the statement “We are NOT gone,” the poem reinforces the message and seeks to assure the reader that their loved ones remain with them, offering support and guidance. It suggests that even though contact may not be immediately felt or recognized due to personal preoccupations, the presence of these individuals is constant and unwavering.

Overall, the poem serves as a reminder to the reader that the bond between the living and the departed transcends physical existence. It urges them to remain open and receptive to the presence of their loved ones, even in times of perceived absence, and to embrace the belief that they are always with them.
