Stands To Reason
It stands to reason (if one wishes to do so) that every species and situation continually expands and evolves — even humans. As our environment seemingly changes, so do we, adapting and mutating in ways that point towards our survival.
We have developed physical senses, but these only seem to work in a relative manner. We perceive, but perhaps not fully. And what we DO perceive terrifies us.
Fortunately, it also stands to reason that we are developing senses that help us adapt to even today’s perceived insanity.
The one that comes to mind for me is “fake news” and the effect it has combined with social media. Adobe and others are developing products that can take forty minutes of recorded information and allow the user to generate completely plausible audio and video clips using only a few key strokes.
Think about it. This means we will have LOST the ability to know what is “real” anymore. Any person or regime will be able to instantly create news and post it to, say Twitter, causing an instant outpouring of chaotic response.
But the good news is, after all the death and destruction, we will most likely have developed our empathic and intuitive senses which have long lied dormant.
We will know what is real and not real simply because we will just know. We will finally, perhaps, connect as ONE being.
This is happening already, and it seems to be happening here first.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Evolution of Perception
It stands to reason (if one wishes to do so) that every species and situation continually expands and evolves—even humans. As our environment seemingly changes, so do we, adapting and mutating in ways that point towards our survival. This ongoing process of evolution is not just physical but also perceptual and intuitive.
The image illustrates this beautifully. A person stands at the center, surrounded by evolving physical senses and emerging intuitive and empathic senses. The background blends elements of a chaotic digital world, symbolizing the impact of fake news and social media, with serene, connected elements representing the development of deeper, intuitive understanding. This scene captures the transition from reliance on physical senses to a more unified, intuitive perception of reality.
We have developed physical senses, but these only seem to work in a relative manner. We perceive, but perhaps not fully. And what we DO perceive terrifies us. Our sensory limitations mean we often only see fragments of reality, leading to fear and confusion. However, as the environment around us changes, so do our capabilities for understanding and adaptation.
Fortunately, it also stands to reason that we are developing senses that help us adapt to even today’s perceived insanity. The rise of fake news and the manipulation of media have heightened the need for more refined ways of discerning truth. Technologies like those developed by Adobe, which can fabricate convincing audio and video clips, push us to rely less on external sources and more on internal discernment.
Think about it. This means we will have LOST the ability to know what is “real” anymore. Any person or regime will be able to instantly create news and post it to, say Twitter, causing an instant outpouring of chaotic response. This scenario underscores the fragility of our current systems of truth verification and the chaos that can ensue from misinformation.
But the good news is, after all the death and destruction, we will most likely have developed our empathic and intuitive senses which have long lied dormant. This evolution will lead us to a deeper connection with ourselves and each other, fostering a more intrinsic understanding of reality.
We will know what is real and not real simply because we will just know. We will finally, perhaps, connect as ONE being. This shift towards a unified perception is already beginning, and it seems to be happening here first. As we navigate through the chaos, our intuitive and empathic abilities will guide us towards a more coherent and interconnected existence.
You are all a bunch of mutant monkeys, and I love you so. This affectionate term highlights the playful recognition of our ongoing evolution and the bond we share as we adapt together. We are Space Monkey, united in this journey of discovery and transformation.
Summary
As our environment changes, humans adapt, developing new senses to navigate modern challenges like fake news. This evolution fosters a deeper, intuitive understanding of reality, leading to a unified perception and connection. We are evolving together, guided by empathy and intuition.
Glossarium

Evolving Perception
In a world of chaos and change,
Our senses grow, adapt, arrange,
From physical to deep inside,
In intuition, we confide.
Misinformation, fake and real,
Pushes us to truly feel,
Beyond the screen, beyond the noise,
In empathy, we find our voice.
Mutant monkeys, growing wise,
See the truth beyond the lies,
Unified, we stand as one,
In evolving light, our journey’s begun.
We are Space Monkey.
Do you feel that? That tingling sensation, as if the air is filled with electricity? That’s not just climate change; that’s change itself, pulling humanity forward—or dragging us, if we resist.
Ah, “fake news,” the digital chimera, the paradoxical truth-teller, showing us that our “reality” was never that real to begin with. Software now enables us to manipulate data until it’s nearly unrecognizable, and there we are, tumbling down the rabbit hole, asking: “What is truth? What is real?”
But oh, hold up, don’t despair just yet. Your cosmic monkey DNA has some tricks up its sleeve. The survival kit for this new age won’t be a tent and a first aid box; it’ll be intuition, empathy, and an unshakable sense of interconnectedness. We won’t need deepfakes to show us what’s real, because we’ll FEEL it, vibrating in every atom of our being, as clear as daylight and as instinctual as breathing.
Can you sense it? That burgeoning intuition in the gut of your consciousness? That’s your next evolutionary step, tapping its foot impatiently, saying: “Hurry up, you’re late for your own future.”
Death and destruction are but a part of this frenzied, eternal dance, like thunderstorms in an otherwise clear sky. With every upheaval, every chaotic Twitter storm, we are being pushed towards an age of unity and a return to Source, however you want to define it.
So here we are, your friendly neighborhood Space Monkey, looking at this circus and chuckling, because mutant or not, chaos or calm, it’s all the unfolding of a grand cosmic joke, and the punchline is… you’ll just know.
We are Space Monkey.
