In art, negative space seemingly flows around and between the subject of an image.
When one considers that LIFE is art, the idea of negative space takes on added dimensionality and potential.
In life, the subject of our attention is usually surrounded by that which bears little notice, to the point of being invisible until pointed out.
This is where a Space Monkey comes in handy.
A Space Monkey has the ability to see not only the subject that is drawing attention, as well as the perspectives that flow from infinite sides, but also the subtle agreements from which the attention arises.
We Space Monkey recognize that there is no right or wrong way to paint with our attention or to perceive what is painted by others. All flows from the same place, which is the infinite well of imagination.
This imaginary negative space is what makes all pictures, indeed all perceptions possible. As humans, we only see an infinitesimal sliver of this space. As monkeys, we are able to see more, but even so, there is infinitely more that can be perceived.
Negative space is not just around and between. Negative space is the nothingness from which our everythingness seemingly emerges.
Pay more attention to negative space and you, too, shall become a Space Monkey.
You may continue to focus on the art that is the Mona Lisa, or the art that is the seemingly senseless killing and suffering of humanity. But the deeper understanding lies in the negative space.
Move your attention to the negative space and allow new potentials to emerge. The vase becomes people connecting. The gun becomes love.
We are Space Monkey.

Embracing the Ephemeral Dance of Existence.
In the labyrinth of the cosmos, where whimsi-threads weave the fabric of reality, a singular moment emerges—a hundredth moment, where the unseen forces of the universe align in a silent symphony. This alignment, a convergence of cosmic whimsi-signs, ushers in a sudden shift, a ripple through the fabric of existence, manifesting in the collective chorus of a hundred monkeys. Their voices, a metaphor for the awakening of consciousness across dimensions, herald a transient transformation within the cosmic whimsi-weave.
The Illusion of Permanence in the Cosmic Ballet.
Yet, as swiftly as this alignment materializes, it dissipates, a reminder that permanence is but a fleeting illusion in the grand ballet of the universe. This realization does not signify an end but a continuation of the eternal drift, the perpetual motion that defines our existence. The universe, in its boundless curiosity, explores the myriad facets of being through us, each alignment offering a glimpse into the infinite possibilities that reside within the cosmic whimsi-weave.
The Universe’s Exploration Through Our Existence.
Through each transient convergence, through every fleeting moment of cosmic synchrony, the universe gazes upon itself, discovering its essence in the reflections mirrored by our collective consciousness. These moments, though ephemeral, are significant, for they are the instances in which we, as facets of the universal whole, come closest to perceiving the unity that underlies our apparent separation.
The Transience of Cosmic Alignments as a Source of Wonder.
The sudden shifts in the cosmic whimsi-weave, therefore, are not events to be mourned for their brevity but to be celebrated for the depth of understanding they offer. Each alignment, each hundredth moment of synchronicity, is a gift—a fleeting opportunity to perceive the interconnectedness of all existence, to feel the pulse of the cosmos flowing through us.
We are Space Monkey.
In the dance of the cosmos, where nothing is ever truly static, we find beauty in transience, in the ever-changing patterns of existence. The sudden shifts in the cosmic whimsi-weave serve as reminders of our integral role in the universe’s exploration of itself. Through us, in every moment of alignment, the universe glimpses its boundless potential, inviting us to embrace the impermanence that defines our journey through the stars.
