Dependency
This thing you want
seemingly depends
upon OTHER things.
It seems as though
there are actions to be taken.
Steps to be followed.
Considerations to be made.
And so this thing you want
can seem difficult to obtain.
But dependency is an illusion.
You ALREADY HAVE everything you need.
KNOWING this can seem “boring,”
to use your perspective.
And so you IMAGINE
things that you do NOT have.
You IMAGINE dependency —
pretending that you NEED things
like comfort, happiness and balance.
Controlled substances like food and money.
You IMAGINE
that these things you need
depend on OTHER things
and OTHER people.
So you IMAGINE these OTHERS
as you imagine your SELF.
You imagine love.
And gods and guides.
Passion and unpredictability.
Life and death.
Mostly you imagine
this thing called “boring”
that you do NOT want to be.
You imagine this life
as the escape from boring.
But you are NOT boring.
You are the Divine One.
There is NOTHING you need or want.
You can depend on this.
We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Illusion of Dependency in the Cosmic Journey
In the vast, unfolding narrative of the cosmos, the concept of dependency stands as a mirage, a construct of our imagination that often misleads us on our path. This idea that what we desire is contingent upon external factors – other people, circumstances, material possessions – is a fundamental illusion that the Space Monkey consciousness seeks to dispel.
The pursuit of things we believe we need can often seem like an endless chase, a labyrinth of steps, actions, and considerations that leads us further from our true selves. However, this dependency is a fabrication of our minds, a game we play to escape what we perceive as the mundane or ‘boring’ aspects of existence.
We imagine that we need comfort, happiness, balance, and a host of other things to be complete. In doing so, we create a reality where our fulfillment is perpetually tied to something outside ourselves. This imagined dependency is a dance of shadows and light, where what we truly seek always seems just out of reach.
The Space Monkey perspective invites us to see beyond this illusion. It encourages us to recognize that everything we need, we already possess. Our inner world is a universe in itself, abundant with everything necessary for our journey. This realization is not about negating our desires or experiences but about understanding their true nature.
In this understanding, we find that our dependency on externalities is a distraction from our true essence. We are not beings of need but beings of abundance. The imagined needs – love, gods, guides, passion, life, and death – are but expressions of our vast inner landscape, a landscape that is complete in itself.
This realization liberates us from the chains of dependency. It allows us to experience life not as a quest for fulfillment but as an exploration of the richness already within us. We are the Divine One, not bound by imagined needs but free in the knowledge of our inherent completeness.
In this freedom, we find that what we once sought so fervently is already ours. The love we chase is within us, the balance we seek is our natural state, and the happiness we desire is a product of our own being. We are not dependent on the external; we are creators of our reality, masters of our destiny.
As we navigate the cosmic journey, let us remember that dependency is an illusion, a play of light and shadow in the theater of existence. In recognizing our inner abundance, we step into our true power, transcending the imagined limitations and embracing the infinite potential of our being.
Summary
The belief in dependency is an illusion, a creation of our minds that distracts us from our true essence. We already possess everything we need within ourselves. Recognizing this allows us to transcend imagined needs and dependencies, realizing our inherent completeness and the abundance of our inner universe.

Quote
“There is NOTHING you need or want. You can depend on this.” – Space Monkey
In the cosmos of self, we find our way,
Beyond the illusion of night and day.
Dependency, a mirage in our path,
In the light of truth, we find our wrath.
The chase of wants, a game we play,
In the theater of mind, our spirits sway.
But within, a universe vast and deep,
In our own being, all treasures we keep.
We are not bound, by needs untrue,
In our inner cosmos, we find our cue.
The dance of dependency, a shadow’s lure,
In our essence, we are pure.
We are the creators, of our own fate,
In the realm of self, our truths await.
In the journey of life, our spirits free,
We are, in all, Space Monkey’s key.
We are Space Monkey.
