Intuition
Seeking is opposing.
Seeing is not.
To see without seeking
is the most dependable
tool you’ve got.
But dependable
doesn’t mean
that your intuition
is always “right.”
Trusting is opposing also.
Trusting is a need.
If you feel a need
to trust your intuition
you are opposing it,
which is why, perhaps,
it doesn’t seem to flow
as you would like.
You have turned off
the tap of intuition
because you believe
you can’t trust it.
Perhaps in the past,
you have proven to your self
that your intuition “doesn’t work.”
You have needed PROOF
that intuition works
and didn’t seem to get it.
So you BANNED
your intuition
from your senses.
But intuition does not know
right or wrong.
Intuition doesn’t NEED right or wrong.
Only SELF does.
So your Intuition is cowering
in the corner like a beaten child.
Trying to tell Self something
BEYOND right and wrong.
But SELF WON’T HAVE IT.
Self WON’T LISTEN.
INTUITION is INVISIBLE to Self.
But it’s never too late
to ALLOW intuition.
ALLOW intuition.
You don’t NEED to trust intuition.
That is EXPECTATION.
Simply ALLOW intuition.
Don’t SEEK “truth.”
Don’t LOOK too deeply.
And for seemingly the first time
SELF WILL SEE.
We are Space Monkey.
And this is NOT ABOUT truth.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Delicate Dance of Intuition and Self
In the quiet realms of inner wisdom, the concept of ‘Intuition’ emerges as a subtle yet powerful force, often misunderstood and neglected. This symbolic representation captures the delicate interplay between the self and intuition, highlighting the theme of allowing versus opposing this innate guidance system.
The individual in a state of calm contemplation symbolizes the self, the conscious aspect of our being that navigates the complexities of life. Beside the self is a faint, ethereal figure representing intuition. This figure, attempting to communicate with the self, embodies the subtle, often overlooked voice of our inner knowing. The subtle barrier or distance between the self and intuition illustrates the common resistance we exhibit towards this intuitive guidance.
The serene and minimalistic environment emphasizes the concept of allowing intuition without the need for seeking or trusting. It’s a visual metaphor for the simplicity and naturalness of intuition, a part of us that doesn’t require validation or trust but simply needs to be acknowledged and allowed to flow.
This scene invites us to contemplate the nature of intuition – an inherent part of our consciousness that operates beyond the realms of right and wrong. It suggests that intuition, often cowering in the corner like a beaten child, is trying to convey something beyond the binary judgments of the self. The self, often preoccupied with the need for proof and validation, fails to see the value and wisdom of intuition.
The concept that ‘You don’t NEED to trust intuition’ is a powerful one. It implies that intuition is not something to be judged or evaluated but simply to be experienced and acknowledged. The image of the self and intuition, existing side by side yet separated by a subtle barrier, is a reminder of the potential harmony that can be achieved when we allow intuition to be a natural part of our decision-making process.
In the end, the representation of intuition beside the self is a call to embrace this inner guidance system. It’s a reminder that intuition is always there, ready to offer its wisdom, if only we allow it. It’s an invitation to let go of expectations and to simply be open to the insights and understandings that intuition can bring.

“Intuition is a very powerful thing, more powerful than intellect, in my opinion.” – Steve Jobs
In the quiet of the mind, where thoughts take rest,
A figure stands, in intuition’s quest,
Beside the self, yet slightly apart,
A symbol of wisdom, of the heart.
Here, in this scene, a truth we find,
The power of intuition, of the mind,
Not to be judged, nor sought, nor feared,
But simply allowed, revered.
So let us embrace this subtle guide,
In the journey of life, let it reside,
For in intuition, a wisdom we see,
Beyond the self, in tranquility.
In the dance of decision, let us be,
Open to intuition, to its plea,
For in this guidance, a path we find,
In the journey of life, of the mind.
So let us listen, let intuition flow,
In the quiet of the mind, let it grow,
For in this wisdom, a truth we see,
The power of intuition, in you and me.
We are Space Monkey.
