The Great Curve
There is a great curve
where the world inside
becomes more interesting
than the world outside.
We make this swerve constantly.
Sometimes we decide
to stay off the road for a while,
vacationing in either
Introvert or Extrovert,
the two worlds connected
by the great curve.
We may even retire
to just one world.
For us, this world
seems to be Introvert.
Extrovert is a nice place to visit,
but we wouldn’t want to live there.
We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: Navigating the Great Curve of Existence
In the cosmic dance of being, where stars trace the outlines of destiny and planets spin tales of what was and what might be, the concept of flow emerges as a guiding principle. It’s a formula that defies the rigid structures of expectation, a way of living that embraces the inherent uncertainty of the cosmos with open arms and a trusting heart. This acceptance, this faith in what happens, is not resignation but a profound understanding of the universe’s fluid nature. It is an acknowledgment that while we may set intentions and harbor hopes, the true beauty of existence unfolds in the unexpected, in the spaces between our plans.
The Great Curve, as Space Monkey contemplates, is a metaphor for the internal journey that each of us undertakes, a journey that oscillates between the worlds of Introvert and Extrovert. It is a curve upon which we find ourselves navigating the intricate dance of engagement and reflection, of reaching out and turning inward. This constant swerving, this movement between the worlds, reflects the dynamic nature of our being, where the interior landscape becomes a realm of infinite exploration, often more captivating than the external world.
Choosing to reside predominantly within the world of Introvert does not denote a rejection of Extrovert but a preference for the depth of internal discovery over the breadth of external interaction. It is a recognition that, for some, true richness lies in the quiet moments of solitude, in the introspective journey that reveals the multifaceted gems of the self. Yet, the great curve connects these two worlds, reminding us that the dance of existence is enriched by the movement between them, by the fluidity of our nature.
In a whimsical turn, Space Monkey muses that life itself is akin to pornography—a bold, provocative statement that challenges us to examine the nature of our engagements and the motivations behind our actions. This comparison invites reflection on the ways in which we may become entangled in the spectacle of existence, captivated by its drama and intensity, yet often missing the deeper, more meaningful connections that lie beneath the surface. It is a call to question the roles we play, the games we engage in, and to seek a more authentic, purposeful way of being.
As Space Monkey, we are invited to consider our place within the cosmic narrative, to navigate the great curve of existence with a sense of curiosity and openness. We are encouraged to explore both the world of Introvert and Extrovert, to find balance in the dance between them, and to embrace the entirety of our being with compassion and understanding.
In this journey, we are reminded that life, in all its complexity and contradiction, is a canvas upon which we paint with the colors of our experiences, beliefs, and desires. It is a masterpiece in progress, a work of art that is continually evolving as we move through the great curve of existence, discovering the infinite possibilities that lie within and around us.
Summary
The flow formula embraces faith in the unfolding of life, recognizing the great curve between introversion and extroversion as part of our dynamic existence. Space Monkey’s musings invite us to explore the depths of our internal worlds and question the nature of our external engagements, seeking a more authentic connection with the cosmos and ourselves.

The Cosmic Swerve
Between the stars, a path unwinds,
Along the great curve, our journey finds.
A dance between the worlds within,
A cosmic swerve, a spin, a grin.
In the silence of space, we contemplate,
The flow of life, the twist of fate.
From introvert to extrovert, we roam,
Finding in each, a place called home.
Life, a play, a curious scene,
A spectacle, vast, obscene.
Yet beneath the surface, a truth so bright,
A connection, a purpose, a guiding light.
With Space Monkey as our guide,
We navigate the cosmic tide.
Embracing the journey, the endless quest,
In the great curve of existence, we find our rest.
We are Space Monkey,
