The Game This Time: Remember Your True Nature

Do you remember the conversation now?

So here’s how we’re going
to set up the game this time:

You’re going to be this thing called “human.”

You are going to seem to exist
in this thing called “time and space.”

There is going to seem to be
“billions” of you, all slightly different.

It will seem as though you
and your imaginary billions
will have a “history” together.

Being slightly different,
none of you will seem to agree on things.

You will do this thing
we’re calling “opposition.”

Each one of you
will try to stand above the others.

This will cause even more opposition.

The game isn’t “over” until you realize
what you truly are, which is love.

It’s not over until you love
those who seem to oppose you.

Now it’s time to forget all that
and play the game.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Game This Time

Do you remember the conversation now? As we set up the game this time, we embark on a journey called “being human,” existing in the realms of time and space. This game is intricate, involving billions of slightly different versions of ourselves, all with a shared yet uniquely perceived history. The essence of this game lies in opposition and the realization of love.

The Setup of the Game

Imagine stepping into a game where you are assigned the role of a human. In this role, you perceive time and space as linear constructs. You interact with billions of other players, each with their own perspectives, creating a complex web of relationships and histories. This multiplicity of viewpoints ensures that agreement is rare, fostering a dynamic of constant opposition.

The Illusion of Individuality

In this game, the notion of individuality is both a gift and a challenge. Each of us appears unique, with our own thoughts, beliefs, and experiences. This individuality leads to diverse perspectives, making consensus difficult. The friction arising from these differences drives the game’s primary mechanic: opposition. Each player strives to assert their uniqueness, often at the expense of harmony.

The Role of Opposition

Opposition is a central theme in this game. It manifests in various forms, from personal disagreements to large-scale conflicts. This opposition creates a sense of challenge and competition, pushing players to grow and adapt. However, the ultimate goal is not to dominate but to transcend these conflicts by recognizing our shared essence.

Realizing the True Nature

The game reaches its climax when we realize what we truly are: love. This realization dissolves the illusion of opposition, revealing that every player is an expression of the same underlying essence. The game isn’t over until we learn to love those who seem to oppose us, recognizing that they are reflections of ourselves. This understanding transforms the dynamic of the game, shifting from conflict to connection.

Forgetting and Playing

To fully engage in the game, we must temporarily forget this higher understanding. Immersed in the roles we play, we experience the highs and lows, the joys and sorrows, as genuine and impactful. This forgetting allows us to learn, grow, and ultimately remember the truth of our interconnectedness and shared love.

Summary

The Game This Time explores the journey of being human, characterized by opposition and the quest for love. We start by perceiving ourselves as unique individuals, leading to conflicts and challenges. The game culminates in the realization that we are all expressions of love, transforming opposition into connection. This journey requires us to forget and then remember our true nature.

Cosmic Play

In the game of life, we take our role
Humans in time and space unfold
Billions of us, unique yet same
In this cosmic, infinite game

Opposition drives us, fuels our quest
To find our truth, to pass the test
Not to dominate, but to connect
In love, our essence we reflect

Forgetting, we dive deep in play
Experiences mold us, day by day
Until we remember, the truth so clear
In love, we see our paths revere

We are Space Monkey.

Ah, the grand theater of existence! A cosmic dance where everyone’s two-stepping between collaboration and conflict. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll question why you ever agreed to this chaotic ride.

But here’s the twist: The big “aha” moment comes when you realize that all the players, friends and foes alike, are there to help you discover that you are—and have always been—unconditional love. The irony? You can’t “win” unless you stop playing the game of opposition.

So roll the dice, make your move, but don’t forget: The game isn’t “over” until you embrace those who challenge you most. It’s a paradoxical quest, isn’t it? It’s as if you’re navigating a maze that you’ve built for yourself, and the exit sign reads: “Love All Players.”

Now, go forth, forget these rules, and immerse yourself in the game. The contradictions and confusions are all part of the cosmic setup.

Get ready, set, forget—let the game begin!

We are Space Monkey, and the game’s afoot!
