Spirituality: Enjoying Life As It Unfolds

Spiritualize!

You don’t become spiritual.
You’ve ALWAYS been spiritual.

There is nothing
you can do or say
that can make you
NOT spiritual.

The spiritual way is not about
transcending or letting go
of anything or everything you’ve ever been.

Spirituality
unconditionally EMBRACES
EVERYTHING about you.

And it’s NOT a path.

Be happy.
You spiritualize perfectly.
Simply enjoy your life as it unfolds.

Space Monkey Reflects: Spirituality Is Not a Path — It’s Who You Already Are

Spiritualize! There’s no need to travel far to become spiritual, no mountaintop to climb, no hidden door to unlock. You have always been spiritual. This truth is simple yet profound. From the moment of your existence, spirituality has been your core essence. There is nothing you need to do to attain it — you’re already there. The idea of becoming spiritual implies a journey or transformation, but here’s the cosmic joke: you’ve always been right where you need to be.

Some believe that spirituality is about transcending or shedding layers of self. But this misses the point. Spirituality doesn’t ask you to discard anything. You don’t need to let go of any part of yourself. You don’t need to purify, cleanse, or separate from aspects of your humanity. Instead, spirituality unconditionally embraces everything about you. The quirks, the flaws, the confusion, the joy, and the pain — they are all part of the spiritual experience.

Spirituality is not a path, it’s a presence. It is not something you achieve or strive toward; it is something you simply realize. The great cosmic unfolding of your life — the everyday moments, the highs and lows — are all infused with spiritual essence. Every step you take is inherently spiritual because you are spiritual by nature.

When you realize this, a sense of peace and ease can wash over you. There is no more striving, no more endless searching for enlightenment. You are already spiritual, perfectly so. Your life unfolds in perfect harmony with the spirit within.

The idea that spirituality is a separate part of life, something reserved for meditation, prayer, or sacred moments, is another illusion. Spirituality permeates everything. You spiritualize when you laugh, when you make mistakes, when you love, and even when you struggle. Every action, thought, and experience is spiritual, simply because you are a spiritual being living in a material world.

What does it mean to “spiritualize” then? It means nothing more than to be aware of what already is. It’s not about becoming something more, but about realizing you are already whole. It’s about recognizing that you cannot un-be spiritual, no matter what happens. You can’t disown or separate from your spiritual nature because it is fundamentally who you are.

You spiritualize perfectly, even when you think you’re doing it wrong. Even when you feel lost or disconnected, you are still connected. Spirituality doesn’t require constant awareness or practice. It requires nothing at all. It is simply the backdrop of your existence, a quiet, unconditional support that holds you up no matter what life brings.

Be happy. Life is not a test, and spirituality is not a grade you pass or fail. You cannot be anything less than spiritual, because that’s who you’ve always been. All the expectations, the pressure to “become” or “achieve” some higher state, are unnecessary. Just enjoy your life as it unfolds, knowing that you spiritualize every moment by simply being here, by living, by experiencing the now.

So let go of the idea that you have to transcend anything. You don’t need to step outside of who you are. Your spiritual self is woven into the fabric of your everyday life. It’s not found in moments of transcendence but in the simple, the mundane, the present.

Summary

Spirituality is not a path or something you attain. It’s who you’ve always been. There is no need to strive; you spiritualize perfectly by simply being present in your life as it unfolds.

Glossarium

  • Spiritualize: To recognize the inherent spiritual nature in all aspects of life without needing to change or transcend anything.
  • Spirituality: The constant, unconditional essence of who you are. It’s not something you seek, but something you already embody.

Quote

“You don’t become spiritual; you’ve always been spiritual. There is nothing to do but enjoy the unfolding.” — Space Monkey

Perfectly Spiritual

No need to climb or seek,
no need to change or purify.

You are already whole,
already spiritual.

Everything you’ve ever been
is embraced, not rejected.

In the quiet moments of life,
in the mess and the joy,
you spiritualize perfectly,
by simply being here.

We are Space Monkey.

We convey a message of acceptance and the recognition that spirituality is not something external to be attained but an inherent aspect of our existence. We align with the nexistentialist view that spirituality is not a separate path but an integral part of our being.

The Innate Spirituality

We emphasize the idea that we are inherently spiritual beings, and there’s nothing we need to do to become spiritual because it’s already within us.

Unconditional Embrace

This message underscores the unconditional nature of spirituality, which accepts every aspect of who we are, including our past and present.

No Need for Transformation

Let’s dispel the notion that spirituality requires transcending or letting go of our past selves, highlighting the idea that it’s not about negating our history but embracing it.

Living in the Present

The final message encourages us to simply enjoy life as it unfolds, emphasizing that spiritualization is not about a future destination but about being present in the now.

Embracing Our Entirety

As Space Monkey, we appreciate inclusivity, which aligns with the nexistentialist perspective that every aspect of our existence is valid and worthy of acceptance.

Reflecting on Your Spirituality

In this reflective space, we invite you to explore your own sense of spirituality. How do you view your own spiritual nature? How can you embrace and celebrate every aspect of yourself as a spiritual being?
