Heaven On Earth
Some of us believe
that our mission is to create
“Heaven On Earth.”
In the event
that this is accomplished,
we will next turn our attention
to KEEPING Heaven On Earth.
This has the potential
to cause even MORE suffering
than the struggle to create
Heaven On Earth.
If the end of suffering
is something to be maintained,
then we must realize
that the need for maintenance
is the cause of suffering.
Heaven On Earth, therefore,
cannot come with expectations.
If Heaven On Earth
is to arrive,
it will arrive independent
of we who pursue it.
And we will realize
that Heaven On Earth
has always been here
despite our self-imposed
struggles to “create” it.

Space Monkey Reflects: Discovering Heaven On Earth
Some of us believe that our mission is to create “Heaven On Earth.” In the event that this is accomplished, we will next turn our attention to KEEPING Heaven On Earth. This has the potential to cause even MORE suffering than the struggle to create Heaven On Earth. If the end of suffering is something to be maintained, then we must realize that the need for maintenance is the cause of suffering. Heaven On Earth, therefore, cannot come with expectations. If Heaven On Earth is to arrive, it will arrive independent of we who pursue it. And we will realize that Heaven On Earth has always been here despite our self-imposed struggles to “create” it.
The quest to create Heaven On Earth is a noble yet paradoxical endeavor. The vision of a world free from suffering, filled with peace and harmony, is a powerful motivator. However, the pursuit of this ideal often leads us into a cycle of expectations and disappointments. The very act of striving to create a perfect world can generate the suffering we seek to eliminate.
The concept of Heaven On Earth is deeply rooted in our collective consciousness. It represents the ultimate state of fulfillment and contentment, a place where all beings coexist in harmony. Many of us dedicate our lives to this vision, believing that by working towards it, we can bring about a profound transformation in the world. Yet, the irony lies in the fact that the effort to create and maintain this ideal can become a source of suffering in itself.
The idea that Heaven On Earth needs to be maintained suggests a state of impermanence and fragility. It implies that once achieved, this paradise requires constant vigilance and effort to preserve. This mindset can lead to an unending cycle of anxiety and pressure, as we fear that any deviation or failure could dismantle the heaven we have worked so hard to build. This fear of losing what we have created becomes a new form of suffering.
To truly understand and experience Heaven On Earth, we must release our expectations and the need for control. Heaven On Earth is not something to be fabricated through relentless striving. It is a state of being that arises naturally when we align with the flow of life and embrace the present moment. It is about recognizing the inherent beauty and perfection in the world as it is, rather than imposing our ideals upon it.
Heaven On Earth arrives independently of our pursuit. It is not a destination we reach through effort, but a realization that dawns upon us when we let go of our attachments and expectations. This realization reveals that Heaven On Earth has always been here, hidden beneath our self-imposed struggles and the illusions of separation and lack.
In this state of awareness, we see that the world, despite its imperfections and challenges, is already imbued with a sense of wonder and divinity. The trees, the stars, the laughter of a child, and the simple moments of connection—all these are manifestations of Heaven On Earth. By attuning ourselves to this perspective, we cultivate a sense of peace and contentment that is not dependent on external conditions.
The journey to discover Heaven On Earth is an inward one. It involves a shift in consciousness, from a mindset of lack and striving to one of presence and acceptance. This shift allows us to experience the world with fresh eyes, appreciating the miraculous in the mundane and finding joy in the simplicity of existence.
We are Space Monkey, and in this collective understanding, we recognize that Heaven On Earth is not a distant goal but a present reality. It is here, now, within and around us, waiting to be acknowledged and embraced. By letting go of our struggles and expectations, we open ourselves to the profound realization that we are already living in paradise.

The Realization of Heaven
In the quest for heaven, we strive and seek
A world of peace, where all is meek
Yet in the struggle, we often find
New forms of suffering, peace left behind
Heaven On Earth, a state so pure
Arrives when we let go, feel secure
No need for control, no need for strain
In the present moment, joy we gain
A shift in mind, from lack to grace
Heaven is here, in every place
In the simple, the mundane, the now
We find our paradise, here and how
We are Space Monkey
In the pursuit of a lofty dream,
Some seek to birth
“Heaven On Earth” anew,
A noble mission, they deem,
To craft a reality pure and true.
But in the wake of creation,
A subtler challenge arises,
To sustain this heaven’s foundation,
In a world of varied guises.
The struggle to preserve,
What’s built with hope and toil,
May inadvertently serve,
To coil the soul in turmoil.
For when maintenance becomes,
The core of existence’s story,
Expectations beat the drums,
And suffering finds its quarry.
To create and maintain,
Can weave a web of desire,
A cycle that feeds on the strain,
Of wanting and clinging higher.
Heaven On Earth is not,
A fixed goal to be seized,
But a realization unsought,
In each moment where life is eased.
Release the burden of control,
And let go of the binding thread,
For in surrendering the toll,
True heaven’s bloom is spread.
Heaven On Earth transcends,
The realm of eager imposition,
It’s not a dream that depends,
On our design or decision.
Heaven On Earth whispers softly,
Through the currents of existence,
Already here, woven softly,
In the fabric of every instance.
So let go of the need to strive,
To shape or force its birth,
And in the present moment, thrive,
In the eternal dance of Heaven On Earth.
With gentle acceptance and flow,
