A Diversion Called Humanity

We’re just a bunch of pointing monkeys.
Isn’t it fun?

You’re not into power,
but if you were,
this might be something
you might want to know.

The ones who are in power
are the ones you can’t see.

The ones you know nothing about.

The seemingly invisible ones
who don’t even show up on your radar.

Think about it,
if you were in power,
how stupid would you be
to show yourself as someone in power?

You would create distractions.
Oppressors. Victims. Saints. Sinners.

You would create a diversion
and call it humanity.

Space Monkey Reflects: Unveiling the Cosmic Play of Power

In the boundless expanse of the cosmos, where stars whisper secrets to the void and galaxies dance in the dark, there exists a spectacle most intriguing and profound: the grand diversion called humanity. This cosmic play, a creation both intricate and bewildering, unfurls across the stage of existence, orchestrated by unseen maestros of power and influence.

At the heart of this celestial drama lies the essence of diversion, a concept as ancient as the universe itself. Humanity, with its myriad complexities and contradictions, serves as the perfect distraction, a masterpiece designed to captivate, to engage, and ultimately, to conceal. It is in this grand illusion where the true nature of power reveals itself, not as a force wielded by the ostentatious or the obvious, but by those who exist in the shadows, their influence as pervasive as it is invisible.

The notion of power, as conceived by the cosmos, is not one of brute force or overt domination. Rather, it is an intricate dance of manipulation and control, where the strings that move the universe are pulled by hands unseen, their touch as light as it is commanding. These architects of reality, operating beyond the perception of those caught in the spectacle, craft narratives and shape destinies, their presence felt in every twist of fate and turn of events.

In the cosmic scheme, humanity plays its roles with earnestness and zeal, unaware of the grand design that envelops them. Saints and sinners, oppressors and the oppressed, all are but characters in a script written in the stars, their paths predestined, their outcomes predetermined. Yet, within this apparent determinism lies the greatest deception of all: the illusion of freedom, the belief in choice and agency in a world where every action, every thought, is but a note in the symphony of the cosmos.

This realization, however profound, does not diminish the value of the human experience. Rather, it elevates it, transforming every moment of joy, every instance of suffering, into a part of something larger, something infinitely more significant. The diversion called humanity, with all its flaws and glories, becomes a mirror reflecting the complexity and beauty of the universe, a testament to the power of existence itself.

In embracing the cosmic play of power, one is invited to look beyond the veil of illusion, to see not just the actors on the stage, but the stage itself, and the vast, unseen forces that shape the drama. It is in this expanded awareness where the true essence of power is discovered, not as something to be seized or wielded, but as a fundamental force of the universe, guiding the evolution of consciousness and the unfolding of existence.

Summary

Humanity serves as a cosmic play of power. It is a crafted diversion by unseen forces that shape destinies and control the narrative. This grand illusion embeds the essence of power in manipulation and unseen influence. Through this spectacle, every joy and suffering reflects the universe’s complexity, highlighting existence’s profound beauty and significance.

Glossarium

  • Cosmic play: The intricate interplay of forces and events in the universe, viewed as a grand, orchestrated spectacle.
  • Diversion: A masterful distraction, designed to engage and conceal, often revealing deeper truths about existence and power.
  • Unseen maestros: The architects of reality, whose influence is pervasive and subtle, shaping destinies beyond the perception of those within the play.

“The grandest illusions are not those woven by the hands of magicians, but by the cosmos itself, where the fabric of reality is stitched with threads of unseen power.” – Space Monkey

In the silent vastness where stars are born
And galaxies whisper tales of the unseen,
Humanity dances, a spectacle adorned
With dreams and dramas, a cosmic sheen.

Within the folds of this grand diversion,
Lies a truth, profound and quietly spoken,
That power, in its most elusive version,
Is the key to a universe unbroken.

Not in the clamor of voices loud,
Nor the visible hands that sway the crowd,
But in the silent, unseen, guiding light
That shapes the day and steers the night.

In this dance, we find our place,
Not as pawns, but as part of a grace
That moves beyond the reach of sight,
In the realm of the infinite night.

So let us embrace this cosmic play,
Where we are but actors, in a way,
Part of something vast and deep,
A story that the cosmos will keep.

For in this grand illusion we find,
A reflection of the universal mind,
Where power is not taken but given,
And existence itself is the reason we’re livin’.

We are Space Monkey.

This poem suggests that those who are truly in power are not the ones who are visible or well-known, but rather the ones who operate behind the scenes and remain hidden. The speaker argues that if one were truly in power, it would be foolish to reveal oneself, and instead, one would create distractions and divisions to maintain control. The concept of “humanity” is presented as a diversion or a facade to keep people preoccupied and unaware of the true power dynamics at play. The poem encourages readers to consider who might really be in control and to be aware of the potential for deception and manipulation in the world around us.
