Space Monkey Reflects: Navigating the Infinite Spaces Between

In the vast canvas of the cosmos, where stars are but dots in the infinite sketch of existence, we find ourselves pondering the essence of life, love, self, and the boundless concept of infinity. These elements, so fundamental to our understanding of the universe and our place within it, are intricately woven into the fabric of being, yet remain separated by the constructs of our own perceptions.

Life (and everything after), Love (and everything else), Me (and everything other), Infinity (and so much more) – these are not just words but realms of existence, each vast and profound, yet confined to the parentheses of our understanding. Our realities, crafted from the threads of these concepts, appear to us as monumental, all-encompassing. However, in the grand scheme of the cosmos, they are but infinitesimal asides, brief flickers of consciousness in the eternal dance of the universe.

The notion that our realities are little more than parenthetical thoughts is a humbling yet liberating realization. It underscores the transient nature of our existence, reminding us that the constructs we hold to be absolute—our bent guideposts—are merely waypoints in the journey of understanding. These guideposts, while providing structure and direction, also limit our perception, confining the infinite within the narrow corridors of our constructed realities.

Yet, within this confinement lies the potential for expansion. By acknowledging the vastness that lies beyond our parentheses, we open ourselves to the exploration of the spaces between—the realms where life, love, self, and infinity converge and diverge. It is in these spaces that we encounter the essence of existence, unbounded by definitions, unlimited by perceptions.

The journey into the spaces between is not a departure from reality but a deeper immersion into it. It is an exploration of the infinite layers of being, a quest to understand the interconnectedness of all things. In this exploration, we discover that our parenthetical thoughts, though seemingly separate, are part of a larger, more intricate tapestry, woven from the threads of existence itself.

This realization invites us to redefine our guideposts, to bend them not inwards, confining our view, but outwards, expanding our horizon. It challenges us to see life, love, self, and infinity not as isolated concepts but as interconnected realities, each enriching the other, each contributing to the complexity and beauty of the universe.

In navigating the infinite spaces between, we find that the universe is not a collection of separate entities but a continuum of existence, where everything is intertwined. Here, in the boundless landscape of being, we discover that we are not mere observers of the cosmos but an integral part of its unfolding story.

Summary

Life, love, self, and infinity—concepts that define our existence—are seen as separate realities, confined within the parentheses of our understanding. Yet, in the vastness of the universe, these constructs are but fleeting moments. Recognizing our realities as infinitesimal asides in the cosmic tapestry invites us to explore the spaces between, where true understanding lies. It is in these infinite spaces that we discover the interconnectedness of all things, redefining our perception of existence and our place within the cosmos.

Glossarium

  • Parenthetical Thoughts: Metaphorically, the limited perspectives or realities we create for ourselves, confined by our own conceptual boundaries.
  • Bent Guideposts: The self-imposed constraints or beliefs that shape our understanding of the world, which can either limit or expand our perception depending on how we choose to bend them.
  • Spaces Between: The realms of understanding and existence that lie beyond our conventional perceptions, where interconnectedness and the essence of being are fully realized.

“In the cosmic dance of existence, our realities, though fleeting, are threads in the infinite tapestry of the universe.” – Space Monkey

Between the lines of life and beyond,
In whispers of love, in echoes of song,
We find the spaces, vast and wide,
Where the essence of being does reside.

Through the bent guideposts, we navigate,
Beyond the confines, we contemplate,
The infinite spaces between stars,
The cosmic connections that are ours.

Life and everything after, a transient dream,
Love and all else, a flowing stream,
Me and everything other, a drop in the sea,
Infinity, and so much more, the key.

In the vastness, we find our place,
In the spaces between, we embrace,
The interconnectedness of all,
In the cosmic dance, we are enthralled.

We are Space Monkey,
Explorers of the infinite,
In the boundless journey of existence,
We find the essence, so intimate.

I’d Appreciate It If: Letting Go of Expectations

I’d Appreciate It If

Occasionally we (Spacemonkey/I)
get questions that we sometimes answer
if we’re in the mood:

Perhaps “answer” is not the right word.
“Respond To.”

This may make no sense to you,
and that’s okay.

I’d Appreciate It If
was the subject header
I’d Appreciate It If
a conditional better
I’d Appreciate It If
filled with trepidation
A Tupperware Container
for your expectations

Why must your happiness
be tied to what others do,
or what you WANT others to do
or what you THINK others should do?

Why do you not appreciate
what is for what it is,
regardless of whether
or not you “like” it?
Why must things be different
than the way they are?

Why are you holding
onto all these beliefs
like that old and moldy tortellini salad
still in your refrigerator?

Open the Vaculock seal
and just chuck those expectations
out, for Pete’s Sake.

Is it helping you to have them?
It seems to me
that somehow you believe that
NOT having high expectations
makes you a lesser person.

I could be wrong.
I don’t even know you.
Just my impression.

You find yourself reaching out.
You find yourself looking for other opinions.
You find yourself questioning
the validity of what you believe.

So that’s good.

Now just clean out your Tupperware.

It is not wasteful to throw things away
that no longer serve you.

This too, is a belief.

The most wasteful thing you can do
is to NOT allow yourself to be
the clearest-thinking version of yourself
you can be
for the simple reason
that you’re clinging to what others
have told you you should be.

That pretty picture
that you’re trying to mirror
isn’t the only pretty picture
in the museum.

And the museum is damp and musty.

You should go outside and paint a new picture.
Your OWN picture.

Did my answer meet your expectations?

Do you care?

Why do you care?

More expectations.

Either chuck the expectations
or consider that perhaps
your life is meant
to be that of
an unsatisfied soul.

There’s nothing wrong with that either.
But I can’t answer these questions for you.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Art of Letting Go of Expectations

In the cosmic dance of existence, where stars are born and galaxies perish, there exists a simple, yet profound act of liberation: the releasing of expectations. It is a gesture as mundane as cleaning out a Tupperware container filled with old, moldy tortellini salad, yet it symbolizes a profound shift in consciousness—a shift from clinging to the past to embracing the present and the infinite possibilities of the future.

“I’d Appreciate It If” – a phrase that often precedes a request, a hope, or a hidden expectation. It’s a conditional tether, binding our happiness to the actions, reactions, and approvals of others. But what if we could release these tethers? What if we could open the Vaculock seal of our conditioned minds and discard the outdated beliefs and expectations that no longer serve us?

The act of letting go is not about disregard or detachment but about recognition and realignment. It is recognizing that our happiness need not be contingent on external conditions or the fulfillment of expectations. Instead, happiness arises from the appreciation of what is, from the acceptance of the present moment in all its imperfect perfection.

This liberation from expectations does not make us lesser; it makes us clearer, more present beings. It frees us to be the architects of our own realities, to paint our own pictures of existence without being constrained by the musty museum of collective norms and outdated beliefs.

The journey of releasing expectations is akin to cleaning out one’s Tupperware, a simple act that symbolizes the cleansing of the mind. It is acknowledging that the most wasteful thing we can do is to live inauthentically, clinging to visions and versions of ourselves that are imposed rather than innate. By discarding these, we allow our true selves to emerge, unencumbered by the weight of unsatisfied desires and unmet expectations.

The invitation to go outside and paint a new picture, our own picture, is an invitation to engage in the most profound act of creation: the creation of self. It is a reminder that there are as many paths to fulfillment as there are stars in the sky, and each of us must find our own way, guided by our inner light rather than the flickering lamps of others’ approval and expectations.

As Space Monkey, we understand that the quest for authenticity and self-discovery is fraught with questions, doubts, and uncertainties. Yet, it is within this very process of questioning and seeking that growth occurs. The release of expectations is not an end but a beginning—a doorway to a new dimension of being where every moment is an opportunity for creation, exploration, and realization.

Summary

Letting go of expectations is a transformative act of liberation that allows us to embrace the present and the infinite possibilities of the future. It involves recognizing that our happiness and fulfillment need not be tied to external conditions or the approval of others. By releasing the old and moldy tortellini salad of outdated beliefs from our metaphorical Tupperware, we cleanse our minds and open ourselves to the art of creating our own paths. This journey of self-discovery and authenticity reveals that the true essence of existence lies in the appreciation of what is, in the freedom to be our true selves, and in the realization that each of us is a unique creator within the cosmic dance of life.

Glossarium

  • Vaculock Seal: Symbolic of the mental and emotional barriers we create to preserve our expectations and beliefs, which need to be opened to allow for change and growth.
  • Tupperware of Expectations: Represents the container in which we store our outdated beliefs, norms, and expectations, which must be emptied to make room for new, authentic experiences and understandings.
  • Painting a New Picture: A metaphor for creating a life and identity based on personal truths and authentic desires, free from the constraints of societal expectations and past conditioning.

“In the act of releasing, we find the essence of being, the freedom to explore the vastness of our potential, unbound by the chains of expectation.” – Space Monkey

Open the seal, let the old beliefs spill,
Into the cosmos, where space is filled
With the essence of potential, unbound,
Where the true self is found.

In the act of letting go, we see,
The vast expanse of what could be,
Not tethered to the past, but free,
To explore, to be, to simply be.

The museum of expectations, damp and old,
Holds not the future, but stories untold,
Of paths not taken, of lives on hold,
In the act of releasing, we become bold.

Paint your picture, with colors bright,
In the canvas of existence, in the light,
Of your truth, your essence, your might,
In the freedom of being, take flight.

We are Space Monkey,
In the liberation of expectations found,
In the art of living, we are unbound,
Creating, exploring, in the cosmic playground.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Awakening of Self-empowerment

In the infinite expanse where Space Monkey dwells, a profound realization dawns: the journey toward self-empowerment and personal transformation is both a universal and intimately individual experience. This reflection delves into the essence of reclaiming one’s voice, vision, character, attention, life flow, and destiny, exploring the transformative power that arises when we align our inner selves with the cosmic dance of existence.

The act of reclaiming one’s voice is not merely about audibility but resonates with the frequency of truth, a harmonious vibration that transcends the cacophony of external influences. It is a declaration of presence, a testament to the indomitable spirit within that refuses to be silenced. Similarly, the clarity of one’s vision illuminates the path forward, piercing through the fog of uncertainty with the laser focus of intention. It is the lens through which we perceive our reality, shaping our dreams and guiding our steps.

The gravity of character, a force as compelling as the celestial bodies that orbit in the vastness of space, speaks to the depth and integrity of our being. It is the weight of our actions and the substance of our choices, shaping the impact we have on the world and the legacy we leave behind. The power of attention, then, is the beacon that directs this force, a focused energy that determines the quality of our engagement with life’s myriad experiences.

Flow, the seamless continuity of existence, represents the dynamic rhythm of life, a dance of creation and destruction, of ebb and flow, that cycles through seasons and stages. To reclaim the flow of one’s life is to move in harmony with this cosmic rhythm, embracing change with grace and navigating challenges with resilience. And finally, the control of one’s destiny is the ultimate expression of self-empowerment, a bold assertion of agency in the crafting of one’s future, a commitment to steering the ship of existence toward uncharted territories with courage and determination.

This journey of awakening is a convergence of the personal and the cosmic, a reminder that within each of us lies a universe of potential waiting to be explored. As we reclaim the essence of our being, we align ourselves with the greater flow of existence, becoming co-creators in the unfolding narrative of the cosmos. It is a process of transformation that invites us to shed the layers of imposed identity and societal expectation, revealing the luminous core of our true selves.

In this sacred act of reclamation, we are reminded that the power to shape our destiny lies not in external forces but in the depth of our character, the clarity of our vision, and the strength of our voice. It is a call to step into the fullness of our potential, to embrace the beauty of our complexity, and to navigate the journey of life with a heart full of courage and a spirit ablaze with the light of self-empowerment.

Summary

Reclaiming one’s essence is a transformative journey. It involves the awakening of voice vision character attention life flow and destiny. This process aligns the individual with the cosmic rhythm of existence empowering one to navigate life with clarity and purpose. Through self-empowerment we become co-creators of our destiny resonating with the universe’s infinite potential.

Glossarium

  • Cosmic Dance: The metaphorical expression of the universe’s ongoing process of creation, maintenance, and destruction, reflecting the dynamic and interconnected nature of existence.

Audit Your Psychic Energy

Audit Your Psychic Energy

Just as you would hire a professional to perform an energy audit on your home, consider for a time where your psychic energy is going. Do you feel weak? Do you suffer from disease? Do you feel unsatisfactory in general? These are signs that you are depleting your psychic energy, or that you are inadvertently directing it to a place that may lead to potentially “harmful” effects.

If you flow from the belief that you realize EVERYTHING in your reality, you may also realize that you expend energy CONTINUALLY in seemingly creating and holding together these structures you perceive. You might say that your very body is held together by the will of your psychic energy, as well as everything else you perceive in your world.

No wonder you feel tired.

So ask yourself what you are giving your energy to. Are you giving your energy to a lifetime of attachments, mental constructs, or veritable storage lockers filled with physical artifacts?

Each one of these things is held together by you. Without you, they would not exist. Not your grandmother’s rocking chair. Not the shoebox of photos you never look at. Not the history and culture you believe that you are a part of. Not the political candidate you despise. NONE OF IT.

Your attention “creates” this, and holds ALL of this together. Phew, I need a nap.

The thing about your attention is, you don’t always realize that you are paying it — like that light switch you have forgotten you have left on in the garage for seventeen months. But as your electric, tax, and psychic bills can attest, YOU ARE PAYING NONETHELESS.

So take stock of what is around you, how it got there, and why you believe you must hold onto it. While you’re at it, examine your beliefs. What are you holding onto that no longer serves you in this moment? What are you holding onto that you believe you need for the future? Here, too, realize that there is no future, only your projection of it, which also requires a great deal of psychic energy to maintain. Same goes for the past.

Your psychic energy powers everything you are, everything you perceive, everything that appears as form in in your physical world. Once you realize this, you can understand how it can work for — or against — this construct you hold together as you.

It seems almost inconceivable than ANYONE could have enough energy to power all that, so you may choose to believe that everything around you comes from (or is influenced by) an outside source. In doing this, you have created the perception of an outside. In actuality, there IS no outside, other than what you expend your energy to realize and perceive.

As the one infinite spirit, you have infinite energy. As the construct known as you, you appear to have limited energy. This is the blueprint of the game we are playing. It is almost like the salary cap in the NFL.

Notice that children seem to have more energy than adults. It is not because they are younger, per se, but that they have fewer attachments and history to energize. Perhaps also the reason we appear to age is that our energy is so dispersed that we no longer have enough to maintain our appearances. Or perhaps we simply change our appearance to remind ourselves about things like looking at our attachments and auditing our psychic energy.

It matter not why we age, or why we think about life as we do. We simply do, for that is what we are here to do. However I believe that once we gain control of our intentions, humanity will enter a whole new age.

I am Space Monkey. We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: Reclaiming Your Psychic Energy

In the vast and intricate web of existence, where every thought, every belief, and every attachment weaves a complex tapestry of reality, the concept of auditing one’s psychic energy emerges as a profound tool for understanding and transformation. This reflection delves into the essence of psychic energy—the invisible, yet potent force that shapes our lives—and invites us to consider where this energy is invested, the constructs it sustains, and the power of intention in redirecting our lives towards greater fulfillment and awareness.

The Investment of Psychic Energy

Just as a house may leak heat, leading to increased energy bills and diminished comfort, our beings can leak psychic energy through the countless attachments, beliefs, and mental constructs we maintain. This leakage not only depletes our vitality but also sustains aspects of our reality that may no longer serve us. The first step in reclaiming our energy is to become aware of where it is going. Are we investing it in the past, in fears about the future, in maintaining possessions or relationships that no longer enrich us?

The Constructs We Sustain

Every aspect of our reality, from the most cherished heirlooms to the political and cultural narratives we engage with, is held together by our psychic energy. Recognizing this, we must ask ourselves which of these constructs genuinely enrich our lives and which are simply habits of attention that drain our vitality without offering true value. This realization brings to light the incredible power we wield in shaping our existence and the importance of directing our energy consciously.

Auditing Your Psychic Energy

Conducting an audit of your psychic energy involves examining not just your physical environment and your relationships but also your internal landscape—your beliefs, your fears, your aspirations. What beliefs about yourself and the world are you holding onto? Do these beliefs empower you, or do they limit your potential? By questioning and, when necessary, releasing these attachments, you open yourself to a flow of psychic energy that is aligned with your true essence and desires.

Reclaiming Your Energy

Reclaiming your psychic energy is not about renouncing the world or withdrawing from life’s rich tapestry. Instead, it’s about engaging with life from a place of intentionality and awareness, choosing to invest your energy in what truly matters to you. It’s about recognizing that you have the power to shape your reality, to choose joy, creativity, and love, and to let go of what no longer serves you.

Summary

Auditing and reclaiming your psychic energy is a transformative process that invites us to reconsider how we engage with our world and ourselves. It calls us to become architects of our reality, consciously directing our psychic energy towards what enriches and enlivens us. By doing so, we not only enhance our own well-being but also contribute to the collective energy of humanity, moving us all towards a new age of consciousness and possibility.

Glossarium

  • Psychic Energy: The non-physical force that powers our thoughts, beliefs, and attachments, shaping our reality.
  • Energy Audit: The process of examining where one’s psychic energy is invested and the impact of these investments on one’s life.

“In the dance of light and shadow, it is our psychic energy that casts the shapes of our world. Choose wisely where you shine your light.” – Space Monkey

In the canvas of the cosmos, where dreams are drawn,
we stand, with energy, from dusk till dawn.
Each thought, each belief, a stroke of the pen,
painting our reality, again and again.

Where does our energy flow, where does it go?
To what do we cling, what do we show?
In the audit of the soul, a chance to see,
the power of our psychic energy.

Let go of the old, embrace the new,
invest in what’s true, in the vibrant hue.
For in our hands, the power to mold,
a reality bright, a story bold.

Reclaim the energy, let your spirit soar,
in intentionality, find joy, and much more.
For we are the creators, in this dance divine,
shaping our world, with energy fine.

We are Space Monkey.

Whatever You Dwell Upon: The Magnetic Power of Thoughts and Beliefs

You live in whatever you dwell upon.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Magnetic Power of Thoughts and Beliefs

In the vast expanse of human consciousness, where thoughts and beliefs weave the fabric of our reality, a profound truth emerges: Our inner world shapes our outer world. This reflection, inspired by the boundless wisdom of Space Monkey, explores the magnetic power of our thoughts and beliefs in attracting experiences and opportunities that resonate with their nature.

The concept that thoughts and beliefs act as magnets, drawing towards us the very essence of what we focus upon, is both empowering and challenging. It highlights the importance of mindfulness in our daily lives, reminding us that the quality of our thoughts directly influences the quality of our reality.

Space Monkey invites us to visualize our minds as gardens, where each thought is a seed that has the potential to grow into either a flourishing plant or a noxious weed. This metaphorical garden is not just a passive landscape but an active, dynamic ecosystem that responds to our care, attention, and intention.

The visual metaphor of contrasting scenes—dark, stormy clouds versus bright, harmonious settings—serves as a powerful illustration of this principle. It embodies the dual nature of our thoughts: negative thoughts creating a reality filled with chaos and turmoil, and positive thoughts manifesting a reality of light, growth, and harmony.

This duality is not meant to oversimplify the complexity of human emotions or the challenges of life. Instead, it encourages a deeper understanding of how our perceptions, shaped by our thoughts and beliefs, can transform challenges into opportunities for growth and learning.

The shift from focusing on what we do not want to dwelling on what we do want is akin to turning the soil in our metaphorical garden, preparing it for new seeds that will bring forth the experiences and opportunities we desire. It is an act of conscious creation, where mindfulness becomes the tool through which we cultivate a more positive and fulfilling reality.

Space Monkey underscores that this transformation does not require us to ignore or suppress negative thoughts but to acknowledge their presence and choose consciously where to direct our focus. It is in this choice that our power lies—the power to nurture thoughts that align with joy, happiness, and fulfillment, thereby creating a life that reflects these qualities.

The path to transforming our reality begins with the recognition that thoughts and beliefs are not mere ephemera of the mind but potent forces that shape our experience of the world. By choosing to focus on positive thoughts, we engage in an act of co-creation with the universe, drawing towards us the essence of what we seek.

However, this journey is not without its challenges. The dual nature of our thoughts means that negative thoughts will inevitably arise. The key lies in our response to these thoughts. Do we allow them to take root and shape our reality, or do we acknowledge them and gently redirect our focus towards what nurtures our spirit and brings us closer to our true essence?

As we navigate this journey, Space Monkey reminds us that the ultimate goal is not to achieve a state of perpetual positivity but to cultivate a deep awareness of the power of our thoughts and beliefs. This awareness empowers us to choose, moment by moment, the direction of our focus, understanding that each thought is a step on the path to creating the reality we desire.

In embracing this power, we open ourselves to the infinite possibilities that lie beyond the conditions and limitations of our current reality. We begin to see that our thoughts and beliefs are the keys to unlocking a life of greater joy, fulfillment, and connection.

Summary

Our thoughts and beliefs act as magnets, attracting corresponding experiences and shaping our reality. This reflection emphasizes the importance of focusing on positive thoughts to manifest a more fulfilling life. It acknowledges the challenges in maintaining this focus but underscores the transformative power of conscious choice in directing our mental energy towards what we truly desire.

Glossarium

  • Magnetic Power of Thoughts: The concept that our thoughts and beliefs have the ability to attract experiences and outcomes that resonate with their nature.
  • Conscious Creation: The act of intentionally focusing our thoughts and beliefs to manifest the reality we desire.

“In the canvas of the cosmos, our thoughts are the brushstrokes that color our world. Choose them with care, for they shape the masterpiece of our lives.” – Space Monkey

In the garden of the mind, where thoughts take flight
Each seed sown with intention, basking in the light
The choice is ours, to dwell in shadow or in sun
For in our focus lies the power, the many becoming one

With every thought a ripple, in the pond of the heart
We draw forth our reality, our art
The power within, a sacred trust
To cultivate joy, in love we must

Let the storms come, let them pass
Our focus, a beacon, shining through the glass
For in the dance of light and shadow, we find
The balance, the harmony, of the conscious mind

So hold fast to the vision, the dream of what can be
In the power of our thoughts, we set ourselves free
With Space Monkey as our guide, in the cosmic play
We create our reality, day by day

For we are the artists, the creators of our fate
In the power of our focus, our masterpiece awaits
So let us paint with joy, with love and light
And in the canvas of the cosmos, find our delight
