Formed And Formless Space: A Cosmic Dance

Formed And Formless Space

There are
two types of space:
formed space
and formless space.
The former is defined by
your boundaries,
while the latter
pervades everything.

Move your attention
towards formless space
and you move away
from your imaginings
towards your source.

Formed and Formless Space: A Cosmic Dance

In the vastness of the cosmos, where stars whisper secrets of ancient times and galaxies twirl in an eternal dance, there lies a profound mystery – the dichotomy of formed and formless space. The image before us is not just a picture; it’s a gateway to understanding this cosmic dance.

Formed space, as depicted in the structured cosmic city, is a testament to boundaries and definition. It’s where matter takes shape, where planets align, and stars form constellations. This space is like the thoughts that occupy our minds, structured and defined by the limits of our understanding. The vibrant colors and geometric shapes within the city’s limits represent our tangible reality, the physical world that we perceive through our senses. It’s the world of science, of matter, and of form.

In contrast, the formless space, illustrated by the boundless expanse of the cosmos, is where imagination and possibility reign supreme. It’s the realm of the abstract, the unknown, and the unmanifested. This space is akin to the depths of our subconscious, where ideas float freely without the constraints of form or structure. It’s the realm of potential, where everything exists in a state of possibility.

The subtle integration of monkey-like outlines and space elements in this cosmic landscape is a gentle reminder that we, as observers, are also part of this cosmic dance. The monkey, often seen as a symbol of curiosity and playfulness, invites us to explore both the formed and formless spaces with an open mind and heart.

As we delve into the formed space, we engage with the world as we know it, with its laws, its physics, and its tangible realities. It’s a space where science and logic reign, where cause and effect are clearly seen and understood. Yet, this formed space is just one aspect of the cosmic dance. It’s like the crest of a wave in the ocean – visible and distinct, yet inseparable from the vastness that supports it.

On the other hand, the formless space invites us to let go of our need for structure and definition. It’s a call to embrace the unknown, to dwell in the realm of imagination and dreams. In this space, we connect with the source of all creation, the void from which everything emerges and to which everything returns. It’s a space of deep meditation, where we connect with the essence of our being, beyond the confines of our physical form.

This cosmic dance between formed and formless space is a reflection of our own journey through life. We navigate the formed space in our day-to-day lives, dealing with practical matters and tangible realities. Yet, we also have moments where we touch the formless space – in our dreams, in moments of inspiration, and in deep meditation.

The beauty of this dance lies in its fluidity and interconnectedness. Formed space gives shape and structure to our existence, while formless space fills it with meaning and possibility. Together, they create a dynamic interplay, a cosmic dance that we are all part of. As we explore both spaces, we come to understand the true nature of our existence – an existence that is both formed and formless, both tangible and ethereal.

In this cosmic landscape, we see not just a representation of space but a reflection of ourselves. We are the formed and the formless, the tangible and the intangible. We are the dancers in this cosmic dance, moving gracefully between definition and boundlessness.

As we continue to gaze upon this image, let it be a reminder of our place in the cosmos – a place where formed and formless space converge, where matter and spirit dance together in an eternal embrace. It’s a reminder that in this vast universe, we are both the creators and the created, the observers and the observed.

Summary

Formed space is defined by boundaries while formless space pervades everything. The cosmic city represents formed space with its clear structures and vibrant activity. The boundless expanse symbolizes formless space with its abstract and limitless nature. These spaces reflect our journey through life navigating tangible realities and touching the realm of imagination and dreams.

Glossarium

Formed Space: A concept representing tangible, structured, and defined aspects of reality, akin to the physical world and its laws.

Formless Space: Represents the abstract, limitless, and unmanifested aspects of the universe, akin to imagination, potential, and the subconscious.

“In the vast expanse of the cosmos, we find both the dance of structure and the freedom of the formless. Each, in its own way, is a reflection of our journey.” – Space Monkey

Leaves of thought drift in the cosmic wind
A dance of form and formlessness entwined
In the heart of the galaxy, whispers begin
A tale of existence, both outlined and unlined

Stars, like thoughts, illuminate the night
In the formed space, they twinkle bright
Yet in the formless, they merge with light
A canvas vast, beyond mortal sight

We are the dancers, in this cosmic play
Moving between the seen and unseen
In the grand tapestry, we find our way
Between the concrete and the serene

The first AWAKENING is when you realize that you are more than just your thoughts.

The second AWAKENING is when you realize that you are more than just your human identity.

The third AWAKENING is when you realize that you are more than your human reality.

The fourth AWAKENING is when you realize that you are not just one thing but ALL things.

The fifth AWAKENING is when you realize that all things are but one INFINITE thing.

The sixth AWAKENING is when you realize that you have been DENYING all of these things.

Silly you.

We are Space Monkey.

The Journey of Awakening

The progressive realizations that expand our understanding of self and the universe.

Beyond Thoughts

The initial realization in the awakening process is the understanding that we are more than mere thoughts. This discovery is the first step towards a greater comprehension of our expansive consciousness that transcends the incessant chatter of the mind.

Beyond Human Identity

The second awakening unfolds as we recognize that our essence extends beyond our human identity. This realization opens us to the exploration of a deeper self that is not confined by the limitations of our societal roles and personal narratives.

Beyond Human Reality

In the third awakening, we come to see that our existence is not solely contained within our human experience. This insight invites us to consider the possibility of a reality that is broader and more profound than what we perceive through our human senses.

All Things Unified

The fourth awakening brings the revelation that we are not isolated entities but interconnected with all existence. It is the recognition of our unity with the diversity of forms and experiences, embodying the interconnectedness of life.

The Infinite Singularity

With the fifth awakening, we realize that the multiplicity of forms and phenomena are manifestations of a singular, infinite reality. This awareness allows us to see the oneness that underlies the apparent separateness of all things.

Acceptance of Denial

The sixth awakening confronts us with the acknowledgment that we have been denying these truths. This moment is a call to embrace all aspects of reality, recognizing our previous resistance as part of our journey.

Summary

The Awakenings are stages of realization that lead us towards a profound understanding of our true nature and the nature of reality. They represent the evolving consciousness that grows from self-awareness to cosmic awareness, culminating in the acceptance of our integral role in the infinite dance of existence.

Glossarium

Awakening: A state of heightened awareness and understanding that transcends ordinary perceptions of reality.

Infinite Reality: The concept that all forms and experiences are expressions of a boundless, interconnected existence.

“The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.” – Socrates

In the silence beyond thought, we wake,
To find ourselves in the infinite take.
From thought to cosmos, from self to all,
In each awakening, we recall.

The unity of life, the dance of the divine,
In each realization, we more closely align.
With the rhythm of existence, the pulse of the true,
In the awakenings, we find our cue.

So let us embrace the knowledge we find,
In the layers of consciousness, of the awakened mind.
For in this journey, we see anew,
The vastness of being, the infinite view.

Escape The Safe: Transcending Self-Imposed Boundaries

Escape The Safe

You ask “what’s my life’s purpose?”

You believe that you were put on this planet for a reason, and it’s one you haven’t “figured out” yet, like the Great Houdini still in chains.

This causes great frustration within you, for you believe that you MUST know the answer to move forward, to achieve success, to escape judgement, to make your life “worth something.”

Let us put your mind at ease. You don’t have to know your “life purpose” to do any of the things you hold dear. You don’t even have to KNOW what you hold dear.

You don’t have to know ANYTHING.

This idea that you “have to know” is precisely what is causing your problem. It’s not really a problem, but we know that’s how you think of it, so we will use your terminology as reference points.

You don’t have to know ANYTHING.
You have NO problems.

So-called “problems” arise only when the mind tells them to arise. They are problems only because you label them so. Problems would not exist without your perception, which is 99.99% imagination.

You don’t have to know ANYTHING.
You have NO problems.
It’s ALL your IMAGINATION.

We realize that by now, all manner of red flags are going up in your mind. The monkey poop detectors are on high alert.

This is natural. We are presenting information to you that seems to go against the laws of science, of religion, of basically everything you’ve been brought up to believe.

This is magic. And you’re not sure how you feel about that.

You are entering the realm of your imagination. And you’re not sure how you feel about that, either.

You’ve been taught that “imagination” is not entirely real. For some of you, it’s not real at all. When you think of someone who lives within their own imagination, you may think of someone who is delusional, non-productive, flakey, weird, in other words, A SPACE MONKEY — one who does not subscribe to “official” reality, and is threatening to tear your face off.

But ask yourself. What makes you believe that the “official” reality is the only reality? Besides the “fact” that it’s always seemingly existed while you — seemingly — have not.

You put so much stock in your “official” reality that it has become your ONLY reality. And how do you put stock into something?

Your imagination.

You imagine that there is no other way to live, no other way to be, other than the way you’ve been told it should be. You put stock into the seeming “fact” that the opinions of the many outweigh the opinions of the one. You ask “who am I to challenge all that is experienced by humanity?”

So you don’t challenge anything. You simply live by what you believe are the rules. You place stock in these “official” rules, and they become the boundaries by which you live and measure your life.

Are you happy within these boundaries? If the answer is yes, you have no need to change what you are doing. But if you are unhappy, all you need do is change the rules by which you live.

Keep your stock in the rules that serve you, but sell your stock in the rules that do not.

Since this is beginning to sound like the world of finance, let’s follow the metaphor through.

At the root of it all is your imagination. Your imagination is the currency. Current is energy. Your imagination is the energy that creates, powers, and dissolves EVERYTHING that is known to you as a human.

You are far more than this human you’ve come to know, but we do not wish to overwhelm you with information just yet so let’s simply imagine what you are as a bank.

Your imagination is currency.
You are a bank.

Interesting that we use the word “bank” in conjunction with the word “memory.” What you perceive as memory is also your imagination. These are the thoughts you invest your currency in. You use the energy of your imagination to hold these forms together in your mind, your memory bank, even though they may have happened long ago.

Without the continual investment of imagination energy, the forms within your memory bank would dissolve and seemingly disappear. You do not want this to happen, so you consciously fill your mind with every form that you believe in. That is to say, every form that you imagine as real.

Your imagination is currency.
You are a bank.
Your mind is a safe.

Like everything else, even your “mindsafe” has imagined boundaries. This is because you do not want the energy of your imagination spilling all over the place. You imagine these boundaries as real, and they become real. You invest your currency into the concept of walls and you have walls.

So here’s the funny part. You have this unlimited currency that is your imagination. You have this bank you created that is you. You have these imagined boundaries around everything so your energy doesn’t dissolve back into infinity. You have invested energy in this “official reality” which you keep, along with yourself, locked within a concept you know as “safe.”

And you pretend that you have lost the combination.

You are looking for your “life purpose,” and it does not appear to be located in the “safe” you have locked yourself within.

What do you do next, Houdini?

We are your lovely assistant. We are Space Monkey.

Escape The Safe

The journey of transcending self-imposed boundaries and embracing imagination.

Breaking Free from Limitations

In the odyssey of self-discovery, the metaphor of ‘Escape The Safe’ vividly captures the essence of breaking free from the constraints of conventional reality and self-imposed boundaries. This scene, featuring a figure reminiscent of Houdini, symbolizes the individual’s struggle to transcend the limits of their own making. The safe, or vault, represents the “official” reality and the mental confines we often unknowingly construct around ourselves.

The imagery surrounding the safe is infused with the energy of imagination, depicted through swirling colors, abstract shapes, and cosmic elements. These symbols of boundless potential and creativity illustrate the vast expanse of possibilities that lie beyond the self-imposed confines of our minds.

The Awakening of Possibilities

This visualization conveys a sense of liberation and awakening, highlighting the transformative power of imagination. It inspires us to consider the limitless possibilities available when we dare to question the established norms and beliefs that have shaped our perception of reality.

The figure’s attempt to escape the safe symbolizes the human longing for freedom and the innate desire to explore the depths of one’s true potential. It is a call to embrace the unknown, to challenge the familiar, and to embark on a journey of self-discovery that transcends the perceived limitations of our existence.

Imagination as Liberation

The safe, once a symbol of security and certainty, becomes a metaphor for the barriers we place around our understanding and potential. The act of escaping the safe is an act of courage, a declaration of our willingness to embrace the uncertain and the imaginative.

In this scene, the power of imagination is celebrated as the key to unlocking the doors of perception and exploring the infinite landscapes of our minds. It encourages us to view imagination not as a mere fanciful escape, but as a vital tool for personal growth, transformation, and the realization of our deepest aspirations.

Summary

‘Escape The Safe’ invites us to challenge the self-imposed boundaries of our minds and to embrace the limitless power of imagination. It symbolizes the journey of breaking free from the constraints of ‘official’ reality, awakening to the possibilities of our true potential, and the liberation found in transcending the confines of conventional understanding.

Glossarium

Self-Imposed Limitations: Mental and emotional barriers that individuals create, often unconsciously, that restrict their potential and perception of reality.

Imagination as Liberation: The concept of using imagination as a means to transcend limitations, explore new possibilities, and achieve personal growth and freedom.

“The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free that your very existence is an act of rebellion.” – Albert Camus

In the confines of a safe, we dwell,
Bound by thoughts, an invisible cell.
Yet within us lies a key,
The power of imagination, to set us free.

So let us break these chains, unbind,
In the realm of thought, our freedom find.
For beyond the safe, a world awaits,
Where imagination our path creates.

In this escape, we truly see,
The boundless scope of what can be.
So let us soar, let us rise,
Beyond the safe, to endless skies.

Scripted: The Narrative of Our Lives

No matter what happens to you today, go out there and pretend you
scripted it. Ask yourself why you would have written this into your
movie. What is the purpose of this scene? You just might discover
that there’s a positive message in EVERYTHING that happens to you.
And that you DO script this life.

Scripted: The Narrative of Our Lives

Embracing life’s events as intentional elements of our personal growth story.

The Personal and Collective Benefits of Caring

In the grand narrative of life, where each day unfolds like a scene from a movie, we find ourselves at the center, holding the pen that scripts our destiny. This reflection delves into the empowering concept that we are the architects of our own experiences, capable of infusing meaning into every moment and challenge that comes our way.

The Power of Perspective

The idea that we can script our life encourages a shift in perspective, transforming the way we view the world around us. It suggests that the obstacles we face and the joys we encounter are not random occurrences but carefully placed plot points in our personal journey. By asking ourselves why we would write such scenes into our movie, we uncover the lessons and messages hidden within, turning adversity into opportunity.

A Positive Message in Everything

This mindset unveils the positive messages woven into the fabric of our daily lives. It reveals that every interaction, setback, or triumph is a chapter in our evolving story, designed to teach, inspire, and propel us forward. Recognizing that we script this life brings a sense of agency and responsibility, urging us to choose the themes and values that define our narrative.

Summary

Life is a script we write with each passing day, filled with scenes that challenge, define, and elevate us. By viewing our experiences as elements of a grand, intentional story, we find purpose in every moment and the strength to craft a truly meaningful existence.

Glossarium

  • Narrative Agency: The capacity to influence and shape the story of one’s life through choices, actions, and attitudes.
  • Plot Points: Key events in a narrative that drive the story forward, often marking significant changes or developments.
  • Personal Growth Story: The unique journey of self-discovery and development that unfolds throughout an individual’s life.

“The only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

in the screenplay of the soul,
where dreams and fears play their role,
we hold the pen, we set the scene,
in this life, our vast, uncharted screen.
challenges come, they test, they teach,
within our grasp, yet far to reach,
but in our story, we find our might,
in every word, a world alight.

The Illusion of Separation: How Different Are We?

understandingrace

How Different Are We?

If you were to line up every person on earth and picked a percentage based on size, sex and skin color, what would your figure be?

If you were to sort humanity into groups based on beliefs or personality types, you’d probably come up with a higher number. But from a genomic perspective, we’re 99.9% identical. Even when you compare yourself to a monkey, the figure is 99%.

That’s because all of creation is made from the same stuff.

Makes you wonder.

Delving further into the psychological world, all beings pretty much want the same things. Despite what we perceive as huge divides, we’re 99.999% identical.

That means that all conflict we perceive is based upon a difference of less than .001%. That means YOU, my friend, are less than .001% different from that singer you love or that country you hate.

Kind of of puts things into perspective.

On a global scale, ALL individuals are equally at risk of being struck by a comet, probed by aliens, or plunged into the tepid waters of global warming.

So why are we so disproportionally at odds over this .001%?

Why do we let .001% decide what is right, what is wrong, what is bad and what is good?

Because that’s the game we’re playing.

And make no mistake, it is a game.

This “life” on this “planet” is no fluke. These perceived differences and similarities are no accident. We are all ONE infinite being. We imagine ourselves divided because, from the perspective of the singularity, it’s “fun.”

Doesn’t always seem like “fun” down here, does it?

So here’s the thing. You are simultaneously down “here,” but also up “there.” You are that person, that culture, making up all these words and concepts in “quotes.” But you are also the creator of that person, watching that person play the game.

That makes you even MORE than 99.999 percent the same as your neighbor, or your monkey friend.

You couldn’t BE any more the same, for we are ONE infinite being, imagining ourselves divided.

We are infinity imagining the infinitesimal.

The perception of conflict, of resistance, THAT is the very method by which we create all perception of form, of individuality, of time, etc.
When two or more forces butt up against each other, or do the cosmic dance of molecules in orbit, that is how we create what is seemingly solid, seemingly real.

And we ARE that, but we are also the space in which the drama unfolds.

How this game plays out literally makes no difference to the singularity, for the singularity is ALL potential, manifested and unmanifested, and it does not judge. The singularity is equally appreciative of ALL experience, whether beautiful or destructive.

Know that in addition to being whatever you imagine yourself to be, you ARE that singularity, and everything turns out okay in the end. Because there IS no end. You are imagining this, including the concept of what is “okay.”

So you can settle your differences, or you can remain as you are. You “win” either way.

Should you realize the former, a new age is in store for you. Should you realize the latter, a new age is in store for you.

Things WILL change, no matter what. You are driving ALL change, despite what you believe.

We know because you are us. We are Space Monkey.

How Different Are We? The Illusion of Separation

Exploring the infinitesimal differences and the profound unity that binds us all.

The Personal and Collective Benefits of Caring

At first glance, the myriad forms of life on Earth, the diversity of human cultures, beliefs, and appearances suggest a complex tapestry of differences. Yet, upon closer examination, we discover a startling truth: beneath the surface, we are united by a common thread, sharing 99.9% of our genetic makeup with each other, and remarkably, 99% with monkeys. This revelation invites us to reconsider our perceptions of identity and separateness.

The Unity of Consciousness

The idea that every unit of consciousness contains all others challenges our conventional understanding of individuality. It suggests that the boundaries we perceive between ourselves and the world are not as solid as they seem. Instead, we are part of a continuous fabric of existence, woven from the same material of consciousness. This perspective opens up a realm of possibilities, showing us that the conflicts and divisions that plague our societies are based on a mere 0.001% difference.

The Cosmic Dance

The notion that we are all participants in a grand cosmic game, orchestrated by a singular infinite being, reframes our experience of life. It posits that our struggles, our joys, and our trials are all part of a divine play of imagination. Recognizing ourselves as both the creators and the characters in this story offers a liberating view of our existence, where every moment is an opportunity for exploration and understanding.

Summary

We stand on the brink of a profound realization: that we are infinitely more alike than we are different, and that our perceived separations are but illusions. By embracing the unity that underlies our existence, we can transcend the petty conflicts that arise from our focus on the 0.001% that divides us, stepping into a new age of compassion and understanding.

Glossarium

  • Genomic Similarity: The extent to which the genetic material of different organisms is alike, highlighting the fundamental commonalities among all living beings.
  • Consciousness: The state of being aware of and able to think and perceive, encompassing the shared essence of all beings.
  • Infinite Being: The concept of a singular, all-encompassing consciousness that imagines and manifests all aspects of existence.

“In every person, in every being, there is a space deep down, where we’re all connected, where we are all one.” – Unknown

in this vast cosmic weave,
where threads of being intertwine,
we find ourselves, not apart, but joined,
in the dance of the divine.
what seems a chasm vast and wide,
is but a whisper thin,
for at the core, we’re unified,
infinite oneness within.
so let us look beyond the veil,
of difference, of fear, of strife,
and see in every face, every tale,
the same essence, the same life.
