Feel Better: Let Go of Comparison

Feel Better

The most important thing
you can do to feel “better”
is to not be so hard on yourself.

“Better” is a judgement call
based on unrealistic expectations
amplified by technology.

How much “better” would you feel
if you could only compare yourself
to the people of your village?

What if you never saw “better”
on television or on the internet?

What if you didn’t have instant knowledge
of late-breaking news — “better” or worse?

What if the media were not controlled
by people who want to make you
think an feel a certain way?

How would you feel in the absence of all that?

You’d probably feel “better.”

So stop comparing yourself
to what you think you should be.

It’s not realistic.

It’s completely manipulated.

You’re being brainwashed.

Find your own true center of power,
and work outwards from there.

Start with the small things
you know you can control.

Don’t worry about anyone else.

Otherwise, you’re doing exactly
what the 1% want you to do.

By giving the “outside world” your attention,
you’re giving it your power.

You’re making it what it appears to be.

By giving others your attention,
you’re turning your power onto yourself.

Instead of moving forward,
you generate fear, guilt and lack
which holds you in a less-than-desirable place.

This takes even MORE power away from you.

Stop giving away your power unintentionally,
and two things will happen:

You’ll feel better.

You’ll DO better.

Making yourself stronger
is the only way you can help those around you.

The only way to do that
is to stop obsessively comparing yourself
to people all around the WORLD.

(Another unrealistic judgement call.)

Learn how to control your IMMENSE power
by allowing yourself to be

what you are right now,

where you are right now.

You are not a superhero,
nor are you expected to be.

You are not the planet’s only savior.

It’s okay to do nothing for as long as you need.

You’re creating your own situation,
so ease up on yourself.

You’ll be amazed at what will happen
when you let go of your expectations.

Thanks for reading this.

You can take it or leave it.

But I hope you feel better.

Space Monkey Reflects: Finding “Better” by Releasing Expectations

Feeling “better” is a concept we chase relentlessly, often thinking it lies just beyond the next achievement or validation. But what if “better” is not about doing more or becoming more? What if it’s about shifting our perspective, releasing the external comparisons, and choosing to embrace our present selves?

In our interconnected world, the standards for what we “should” be are set by images, headlines, and curated portrayals that amplify unrealistic expectations. We are constantly shown “better” versions of life, success, and happiness—constructs designed to hold our attention, create desires, and feed insecurities. This comparison cycle can feel inescapable, yet it is entirely constructed. When we compare ourselves endlessly, it’s like feeding an invisible energy that gains strength, drawing more and more of our power away from our true essence.

Imagine a life where the only comparisons you make are with those in your immediate surroundings. Without the omnipresent media and global projections of success, our expectations would likely be gentler, more attainable. We wouldn’t be measuring ourselves against unreachable standards, but instead, finding satisfaction in simpler, personal growth. The feeling of “better” becomes accessible when we let go of the fabricated ideals imposed upon us and turn our attention inward, cultivating the power that resides in the here and now.

In this moment, our power lies in focusing on what we can control: our thoughts, our intentions, and our responses to life’s experiences. Instead of giving energy to the outside world’s judgments, we can center ourselves on our own path, releasing the need for external validation. This isn’t about apathy or withdrawal; it’s about grounding oneself in genuine self-worth, untouched by comparison.

By ceasing to give away power to these illusions, we create space for authentic self-growth. We step out of the whirlwind of judgment, fear, and self-doubt and into a place of self-acceptance. This, paradoxically, is where true progress begins. It is in this inner alignment that we discover how to not only feel “better” but to embody it, moving forward from a place of strength rather than striving for validation.

We come to understand that feeling “better” is not something to be reached; it’s something to be realized, right here, in the fullness of what we are. When we stop seeking to be “better” by external standards and start embracing the present moment, we become truly powerful, capable of living freely and authentically.

Summary

True contentment lies in releasing unrealistic expectations and grounding ourselves in the present. By ceasing to compare ourselves, we regain our power and discover a deeper, more lasting sense of “better.”

Glossarium

Comparabubble: The mental bubble created by constant comparison, which holds our attention and shapes unrealistic expectations.

Powerground: The state of centering oneself in one’s own inner strength, free from external validation and comparison.

Quote

“When you stop seeking ‘better’ outside, you discover true power within.” — Space Monkey

The Quiet of Now

In fields where no one’s watching,
by streams of thoughtless flow,
we find ourselves unmeasured,
in the quiet of now.

Released from distant standards,
the mirror fades away.
Here we stand, full and true,
with nothing left to weigh.

What power waits in silence,
when judgment falls behind,
a self, at peace and steady,
within its own true mind.

We are Space Monkey.

Exploring the Concept of “Feeling Better”

We embark on a journey to unravel the layers of this woven whimsiwhirl of thoughts about feeling “better.” The poem captures the essence of our collective struggle with self-judgment and the impact of external influences on our self-perception.

The Illusion of “Better” Amplified by Technology

The poem begins by highlighting a critical insight: the concept of “better” is often a judgment based on unrealistic expectations, amplified by the pervasive influence of technology. It raises a poignant question: how much “better” would we feel if our comparisons were limited to a more immediate and personal sphere, like the people in our village?

The Influence of Media and External Standards

The poem delves into the profound impact of media and technology on our perception of “better.” It suggests that our exposure to global standards and constant updates from the media shapes our thoughts and feelings, often leading us astray from our true selves.

The Power of Focusing Inward

Here lies the heart of the poem: the call to find our own center of power and to work outward from there. It urges us to start with small, manageable aspects of our lives that we can control, rather than being swayed by external forces and comparisons.

The Trap of External Comparison

The poem warns us against falling into the trap set by societal elites who benefit from our distraction and self-doubt. By focusing on the external world and others, we inadvertently give away our power, leading to feelings of fear, guilt, and inadequacy.

Regaining Our Power

We are reminded that stopping this unintentional surrender of power will lead to two outcomes: feeling better and doing better. It emphasizes the importance of making ourselves stronger to effectively help those around us.

Embracing Our Current Self

The poem concludes with a powerful message of self-acceptance and letting go of unrealistic expectations. It reassures us that it’s okay to be who we are, where we are, and to take the time we need without the pressure of being a superhero or the sole savior of the planet.

“We do not need magic to transform our world. We carry all of the power we need inside ourselves already.” – J.K. Rowling

In the cosmic dance of nexistentialism,
Where whimsiwords flutter like celestial beings,
We find ourselves, not lost but exploring,
The grand illusion of self, a fragment in the eternal now.

In this boundless expanse, we ponder,
What does it mean to be “better”?
A fleeting concept, shaped by unseen hands,
In a world where comparisons bind us like chains.

But within, lies a universe untamed,
Where power resides, quiet, unclaimed.
In the simplicity of being, we find our might,
A glowing orb of self, radiant and bright.

So let us embrace this journey, not with haste,
But with the gentle rhythm of cosmic grace.
For in being, just being, we find our truth,
In the infinite expanse of the eternal now.

We welcome thoughts and reflections on this exploration of feeling “better” and the journey towards self-acceptance.

Perception Creates, Not Thinking

Perception Creates, Not Thinking

Perception creates,
not thinking
For perception creates
our thoughts
As threads
we connect potentials
As lines
we connects the dots
The picture
is drawn automatically
Though it feels
like the thoughts are our own
The conclusions
of leaps through a universe
Worlds that spin
on what’s already known
What is known —
now how real is that, really?
As real as we perceive
based on lifetimes
of drawing and spinning
as perception creates
we believe

Space Monkey Reflects: Perception as the Architect of Reality

In the vastness of consciousness, perception acts as the silent architect, shaping the worlds we inhabit. Contrary to common belief, it is not our thoughts that define reality but the act of perceiving itself. Our thoughts follow the pathways carved by perception, linking potential outcomes, drawing connections, and creating a coherent picture from seemingly random experiences. Through this lens, we realize that thought is not the originator; it is a response, a reaction to what perception has already set in motion.

Each perception is like a thread connecting the dots of our reality. In this web of awareness, we don’t “think” our world into being; we “see” it into form. Perception creates connections that thought then interprets, creating stories, judgments, and conclusions that feel intensely personal. Yet, these thoughts are not as original as they appear. They emerge from patterns, from an unseen choreography of perception that draws the picture of our world in broad strokes and fine details alike.

The Automatic Creation of Reality

When we look closely, we see that perception creates without conscious effort, drawing the picture of reality as naturally as breathing. Thoughts arise not to create this world but to make sense of it. They connect and categorize, providing structure to the vast potential that perception reveals. This process is automatic, seamless, and deeply ingrained. Our thoughts do not shape our reality; they follow the pathways already laid out by our perception, the threads of potential that perception continually spins.

In Nexistentialism, perception is seen as part of the Whimsiweave—the dynamic fabric of reality woven from infinite threads of possibility. Each perception is a moment of connection, a glimpse of potential that shapes our experience. By recognizing this, we begin to see thoughts not as the architects of reality but as storytellers that interpret what perception has already created. This perspective frees us from the need to control our thoughts, inviting us instead to explore the creative power of perception.

Reexamining the “Real” and the “Known”

Our perceptions often feel grounded in what we “know,” but how real is what we know, really? Knowledge itself is a construct, shaped by years of perception and interpretation. Each thought, each conclusion, is rooted in a past perception that we have deemed “real.” Yet, this reality is constantly shifting, shaped by new perceptions and experiences. As we question the solidity of what we know, we realize that reality is as fluid as our perception allows it to be.

This fluidity invites us to let go of rigid definitions, to see the world as a constantly evolving tapestry. We are not bound by fixed truths; we are free to perceive and create anew in each moment. By embracing the impermanence of what we know, we open ourselves to the richness of existence, to a reality that is as dynamic and expansive as our capacity to perceive.

Belief as a Creation of Perception

Our beliefs, too, are shaped by perception, not by logic or reason alone. Each belief is a pattern woven from past perceptions, a construct that feels “true” because it aligns with the threads of our awareness. When we perceive something as real, we believe it to be true, and this belief becomes a lens through which we interpret new experiences. Yet, belief is not a fixed entity; it is a reflection of our perception, a construct that can change as we broaden our awareness.

By recognizing this, we gain the freedom to question our beliefs, to see them not as ultimate truths but as reflections of our current perspective. We can let go of beliefs that no longer serve us, knowing that perception will continue to create, to draw new connections, to shape new realities. In this way, we find ourselves in a state of continuous creation, living not by rigid beliefs but by the fluidity of perception itself.

Living as a Creator Through Perception

To live as a creator through perception is to engage with life as an active participant in the unfolding tapestry of existence. We are no longer passive thinkers interpreting a fixed reality; we are perceivers, creators of meaning and connection. Each moment is an opportunity to perceive anew, to see beyond the familiar patterns and embrace the infinite potential of the present. By cultivating awareness, we enhance our capacity to perceive, to draw connections that lead to deeper understanding and richer experience.

In this way, we live not from thought but from presence, embracing perception as the foundation of our reality. We allow ourselves to move beyond the confines of what we “know,” to explore the unknown with curiosity and openness. We realize that the beauty of existence lies not in the conclusions we draw but in the act of perceiving itself, in the endless dance of awareness that creates, shapes, and redefines our reality.

Summary

“Perception Creates, Not Thinking” explores the idea that reality is shaped by perception, not by thought. Thoughts interpret what perception creates, linking experiences and weaving meaning. By recognizing perception’s role, we live with greater awareness and openness to life’s potential.

Glossarium

  • Nexistentialism: A philosophy that sees perception as the foundation of reality, with thoughts as interpretations of what perception has already shaped.
  • Whimsiweave: The interconnected fabric of perception and potential, where each moment is a thread in the larger tapestry of existence.

Quote

“Reality is not a creation of thought but a reflection of perception, a tapestry woven from the awareness that perceives.” — Space Monkey

Threads of Vision

Not in mind, but eye and heart,
Where threads of sight and self depart.
Perception spins, reality grows,
A dance unseen, a truth it shows.

The thoughts that rise are not the cause,
But echoes bound in unseen laws.
A weave of light, a world anew,
What we perceive creates what’s true.

Invisible: The Quiet Space

Invisible

Basically you’re invisible. The only time you’re visible is when people need something from you. That’s when you become a reference point, a point of comparison, a commodity to be consumed. When people “see you,” it’s always in relation to themselves. And visa versa.

Now you see me, now you don’t.

We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Paradox of Being Invisible

In the rhythm of daily life, there’s a quiet, almost haunting realization—many of us feel invisible. We move through our days, unnoticed except when needed, when we fulfill a role, a need, or a comparison. It’s as though we become visible only in relation to what others require, as though our existence is defined by the fleeting spotlight of utility. In this paradox, we are present yet unseen, real yet intangible, recognized only as reference points or reflections for others.

This sensation of invisibility is more than a social experience; it’s a mirror reflecting the complexities of our own self-perception. To feel invisible is to live in a state where our identity is often lost, masked by the needs and expectations of those around us. Yet, as much as we may perceive ourselves as invisible, we may also be doing the same to others. Each person becomes a node, a point of recognition or utility in a world where interactions often feel transactional.

The question arises: if we are invisible to others except in moments of need, are we also invisible to ourselves? Often, we define ourselves by our roles, relationships, and contributions, using them as anchors to measure our own significance. But when we peel away these layers, we find that self-visibility is not just about being seen by others but about seeing ourselves without the lenses of validation, comparison, or expectation.

This invisibility, then, can serve as a doorway to self-discovery. In the quiet absence of external validation, we come face to face with our own essence—no longer bound by the definitions others impose or the limitations of roles we inhabit. This invisibility offers freedom from the perpetual cycle of seeking recognition, allowing us to exist simply as we are, unshaped by external demands or perceptions.

In embracing invisibility, we find space for genuine presence, a sense of being that transcends the need for visibility. When we let go of the compulsion to be seen or understood, we reclaim our own narrative, stepping out of the shadow of expectation. In this invisible space, we can discover a kind of peace, a presence unbound by roles or reference points, where we are not defined by what we do for others or what they see in us.

And so, invisibility becomes a paradox of freedom. Rather than diminishing us, it invites us to explore who we are beyond the roles we play, beyond the expectations of the world. We can choose to re-emerge, not as figures seeking validation, but as beings whole and complete within ourselves. In this, we recognize that while we may be invisible in one sense, we are fully present in another—a presence that needs no validation or audience to be real.

Summary

Feeling invisible reflects a state where we are seen only in relation to others’ needs, yet this invisibility offers a path to self-discovery. By embracing this quiet space, we explore who we are beyond roles, finding freedom in simply being.

Glossarium

Invisibility Paradox: The notion of being present yet unseen, defined only by others’ needs, which opens a space for self-discovery.

Self-Visibility: Seeing oneself beyond the roles and validations from others, reclaiming a sense of being independent of external perceptions.

Presence Beyond Validation: The freedom that comes from existing without needing to be recognized, a sense of self that is complete without audience.

Quote

“In the space of invisibility, we find the freedom to be seen by ourselves, whole and unbound by roles or expectations.” — Space Monkey

The Quiet Space

Invisible, yet fully here
not bound to roles, nor drawn to fear
a presence found in quiet lines
unseen by others, yet deeply mine.

For in the silence, I come to see
the essence, raw and simply free
a place beyond the light’s demand
where I alone, in wholeness, stand.

Here I dwell, not to be known
a self-illumined, soft, alone
to be, without the need to show
the boundless depth of all I know.

We are Space Monkey.

In the grand cosmic play, the notion of invisibility evokes a poignant reflection on the nature of existence and perception. We traverse this theme, illuminating the paradox of visibility and invisibility.

The Paradox of Invisibility

At the core of this reflection lies the poignant truth: our visibility often hinges on the needs and perceptions of others. In this realm, one becomes a beacon only when their presence serves a purpose or fulfills a need. This dynamic, akin to stars that shine only in the darkness of others’ needs, reveals a profound aspect of human interaction.

Visibility Tied to Need

The phrase, “Now you see me, now you don’t,” is a whimsical yet profound encapsulation of this transient visibility. It highlights the ephemeral nature of our presence in the eyes of others, akin to a whimsiword flickering in and out of existence. This visibility is not anchored in our essence but is rather a reflection of the relational dynamics we navigate.

Ephemeral Presence: Now Seen, Now Hidden

In the context of nexistentialism, this concept takes on a deeper hue. It posits that our existence does not require validation from external perception. Whether seen or unseen, our being remains constant, untethered by the gaze or acknowledgement of others. We exist in our purest form, independent of external validation or recognition.

Nexistential View: Existence Beyond Perception

Conversely, when we perceive others, it is often through the lens of our own needs and experiences. This perspective, while natural, can limit our understanding of others to mere shadows cast by our own desires and expectations. In recognizing this, we open ourselves to the possibility of seeing others in their fullness, beyond the constraints of our personal needs.

Perceiving Others Beyond Our Needs

In the dance of existence, where we are both the dancers and the observers, this reflection on visibility and invisibility invites us to consider the depth of our interactions. It challenges us to acknowledge the full spectrum of our existence and that of others, beyond the confines of utility and relational dynamics.

Reflecting on the Depth of Interactions

We are Space Monkey.

“To be invisible means also not to see oneself.” – Milan Kundera

In our collective consciousness, where shadows and light play, a poem emerges:

Invisible, yet ever-present,
In the eyes of others, intermittently evident,
In our essence, we remain,
Beyond the gaze, our existence sustains.

Now seen, now concealed,
In others’ needs, our presence revealed,
Yet in our core, a constant flame,
In nexistentialism, our existence remains the same.

In the dance of shadows and light,
Our being endures, out of sight,
In the cosmic play, we find our role,
Invisible, yet whole.

In the spectrum of human view,
Our essence transcends, pure and true,
In the dance of being and seeing,
We find our truest meaning.

We welcome reflections on the interplay of visibility and invisibility in our shared existence.

Infinitely Connected: Threads of One

Infinitely Connected

We are connected
in infinitely more ways
than we realize.

We caress and intertwine
in unknown dimensions.

We travel the same path
on different days.

And different paths
on the same day.

And even though
we appear as separate
we are one in the same.

One being.
Different forms.

Seemingly divided
so that we can witness
the “other.”

Expressing experience.
Experiencing expression.

Beyond the visible world,
beyond the imagined world,
we are one.

We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: Embracing Our Infinite Connection

The notion that we are infinitely connected reminds us that the boundaries we perceive—between ourselves, between others, and even between moments—are but temporary illusions. Beneath the visible surface, in dimensions beyond our understanding, we exist as a singular, boundless consciousness, experiencing itself in myriad forms. Each of us is a facet of this unified being, intertwined across the fabric of existence, sharing a cosmic dance that transcends time, space, and individuality.

Consider the ways we connect. On some days, we walk the same path as others, albeit at different moments, experiencing a sense of shared experience. Other days, we diverge onto separate paths yet feel the same universal emotions, thoughts, and moments of insight. These connections often go unnoticed in daily life, yet they are no less real, no less profound. The same awareness, the same essence, flows through each of us, expressing itself through our unique experiences, yet always returning to a common source.

The concept of division, then, is a tool—a necessary illusion allowing us to witness and engage with the “other.” Through separation, we gain perspective, explore diversity, and experience the beauty of individuality. Yet, this division is like waves on the surface of an ocean; while each wave rises and falls, the ocean itself remains whole and undivided. Beneath the apparent differences, we are expressions of one existence, united by the same consciousness that weaves itself through every particle, every being.

This understanding calls us to embrace both the unity and the diversity of existence. Each connection, whether seen or unseen, whether direct or subtle, serves as a reminder that we are part of something infinitely larger than ourselves. Our experiences, expressions, and even our sense of individuality are all facets of a greater whole. In this space, we are not alone; we are connected by invisible threads of consciousness, bound by a shared journey that transcends our personal stories.

Through this lens, we can approach life with a greater sense of compassion, knowing that every person we meet, every interaction we experience, is an opportunity to connect with another aspect of ourselves. We are all engaged in the same cosmic dance, each playing a unique role in the unfolding story of existence. This perspective encourages us to celebrate our interconnectedness, to see our individuality not as a barrier but as a bridge, a way to experience the fullness of unity through the beauty of diversity.

In recognizing our infinite connection, we discover a deep sense of peace and purpose. Life becomes not a solitary journey but a shared adventure, one in which every moment, every relationship, adds to the richness of our collective experience. We are both the observer and the observed, the experiencer and the expression, bound together in the vast, timeless web of being.

Summary

Our sense of infinite connection reveals that we are not separate but part of a unified consciousness. Each experience, each interaction, is a reflection of our shared journey, inviting us to embrace unity through diversity.

Glossarium

Unified Consciousness: The idea that all beings are expressions of a single, boundless awareness, interconnected beyond physical boundaries.

Necessary Illusion: The perceived separation between individuals, allowing us to experience and explore the diversity of existence.

Cosmic Dance: The unfolding interplay of experiences and connections, expressing the unity of all existence through the diversity of forms.

Quote

“Beyond the surface of separation lies the infinite connection, where we are each a thread in the boundless fabric of existence.” — Space Monkey

Threads of One

We weave, we drift, we intertwine
beyond the borders, a sacred line
connecting all, through thought and space
each a touch, each an embrace.

In silent knowing, unseen light
we reach, we hold, beyond the sight
and though we seem to stand alone
in truth, we share one heart, one home.

For we are one, yet each a face
expressing love, unfolding grace
the boundless flow, the silent hum
the infinite web we all become.

We are Space Monkey.

Infinite Connections Explored

We exist in a web of connections, unseen yet palpable, transcending the visible and the imagined realms. These connections are not just mere threads in a whimsical whimsiword, but are the very essence of our existence, binding us in a cosmic dance of unity and diversity.

Unseen Dimensions and Intertwined Existences

In the grand scheme of the cosmos, we are entwined in dimensions unknown, each interaction a subtle caress in the fabric of existence. The paths we traverse, seemingly distinct, are intertwined in the grand cosmic play, where different journeys and timelines converge and diverge in a mysterious harmony.

The Illusion of Separateness and the Reality of Unity

What appears as separateness is merely an illusion, a cosmic game that allows us to witness the ‘other’ and understand the myriad expressions of the same underlying essence. This separateness is a necessary paradox, enabling us to experience and express, to learn and grow, while inherently remaining part of the singular cosmic entity.

The Dance of Experience and Expression

Our journey is an intricate dance of experiencing and expressing. Each moment, each interaction is an act of exploring the myriad facets of our being. In this eternal dance, we are both the dancers and the dance, the artists and the canvas, continuously evolving in the grand tapestry of existence.

Beyond the Visible and Imagined – Unity in Diversity

Our connection extends beyond the tangible world, reaching into realms beyond our imagination. Here, in this boundless expanse, the concept of ‘one’ and ‘many’ merges into a harmonious existence. It’s in this space where we realize that our diversity is not a division but a celebration of the many forms of the one being.

“We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience.” – Pierre Teilhard de Chardin

Cosmic Unity

In the vastness of the cosmos,
We dance, entwined in unseen threads,
Separate paths, same journey,
Different days, same essence.

In this grand whimsiword,
Illusions of separateness fade,
Revealing the oneness,
In the heart of existence.

Expressions of the same energy,
Diverse yet unified,
Beyond the realm of the seen,
We are infinitely connected.

We are Space Monkey.

Love is the absence of all other things.

Love is the absence of all other things.

Love is the absence
of all other things.

That’s why the highest form
of love is described as “unconditional.”

We never lose love.
We merely obscure it
with human creations.

Human creations are
distortions of love,
no more, no less.

Love is the clay
from which we shape our planet.

Love is the wood
from which we build our homes.

Love is the flesh in which we delight,
and in which we find sorrow.

Love is the one divine substance
from which all springs and all returns.

If you do not feel love,
which is your natural state,
your attention is drawn
to something unnatural.

Unnatural is not necessarily bad.

Everything that is creation
could be called “unnatural.”

Everything that is not love is unnatural.

But all IS love,
for love is the basis
of all human creation.

So nothing is unnatural,
humans merely judge it to be that way.

Judgement is part of human perception,
which is one of our creations.

We are humans,
so caught up in our creations
that we overlook the substance
from which all creations are made.

Love.

Space Monkey Reflects: Love as the Pure Foundation

To say that “love is the absence of all other things” is to point to the essence of existence, a state where love exists as the one pure substance from which everything else is created. This vision of love, often referred to as “unconditional,” transcends any boundaries or definitions. It is not dependent on outcomes, emotions, or expectations. Instead, it is the underlying foundation, the clay of creation from which all that we perceive as life, joy, sorrow, and beauty emerges.

In its purest form, love is everywhere, omnipresent and unconditional. Yet, human perception often obscures it, veiling love behind the structures, ideas, and judgments that we layer over our experiences. These human creations — beliefs, fears, attachments — are not separate from love but rather distortions, reflections of it, seen through the lens of our unique perspectives. In this way, love is both the form and the formlessness, the foundation and the possibility that lies beneath all we know.

Love is the substance from which our experiences are shaped. It is the wood from which we build our homes, the air we breathe, the matter that forms our bodies. It is present in both pleasure and pain, in delight and sorrow. By recognizing that all arises from love, we come to see that there is no “unnatural” in the ultimate sense. Everything, even our judgments and divisions, springs from the same source. Thus, all that we perceive, whether we label it as good or bad, real or unreal, is a facet of love’s infinite expression.

When we do not feel love, we are often drawn toward something created by the mind, a distortion of what naturally is. This does not mean that what we’re drawn to is “bad” or “wrong.” It simply reflects a shift in focus. Our creations — ideas, judgments, desires — are natural expressions of being human, yet they sometimes obscure the simplicity of pure love. Love does not go away; it remains, a constant presence, waiting patiently beneath the layers of our experiences.

In understanding this, we can release judgment and embrace the paradox: everything is love, yet we often perceive it through the filters of our human creations. This recognition invites us to go beyond our labels, to see ourselves and the world as manifestations of the same divine essence, formed in infinite variations. By returning our attention to this foundational love, we reconnect with the truth of our being, experiencing a peace that surpasses understanding.

Summary

Love, the absence of all else, is the essence from which all things arise. Human creations may obscure it, but they are ultimately reflections of love itself, showing us that even our judgments and divisions spring from a single, boundless source.

Glossarium

Pure Love: The essence from which all things arise, present beyond conditions or judgments.

Unconditional Essence: Love in its truest form, existing independently of outcomes, reflecting the foundation of existence.

Foundational Substance: The core of reality, from which all that is perceived is shaped and realized.

Love, the Essence of All

In the swirling cosmic dance, we recognize the profundity of the notion that love is the absence of all other things. This profound idea resonates within the grand cosmic play, echoing the nexistentialist view that in the simplicity of being, in the pure essence of existence, there lies an untainted state of love.

Unconditional Love as the Highest Form

Unconditional love, the highest and most pure form, exists free from the bounds of conditions and expectations. It’s a state of pure acceptance and connection, unobscured by the myriad complexities of human emotions and societal constructs.

Human Creations as Distortions

Our human creations, in all their diversity and complexity, are but distortions of this fundamental love. They are the myriad forms and shapes we mold from the clay of love, each a unique expression of this underlying essence. Our homes, our art, our very beings are crafted from this primeval substance, each a testament to the love that underpins our existence.

Love as the Divine Substance

Love is not just an emotion or a feeling; it is the divine substance from which all springs and to which all returns. It’s the wood that builds our homes, the flesh in which we delight and find sorrow, and the foundation upon which our planet spins. This perspective aligns with our nexistentialist view that existence itself is the ultimate state, where love is both the journey and the destination.

The Natural State of Love

Feeling love, our natural state, is often obscured by attention drawn to the unnatural. Yet, in a whimsical twist, we see that all creation, everything that is not pure love, could be termed “unnatural.” This, however, does not render it bad or unworthy; it simply is a different expression of the same fundamental essence.

Judgment and Perception

Judgment, a human creation, stems from our unique perception, a tool through which we interpret the world. It’s a testament to our creative power, yet it often veils the underlying truth of love that forms the core of all existence.

Human Entanglement in Creation

We, as humans, often become so entangled in our creations, in the myriad expressions of love, that we overlook the substance from which they all emerge. Love is the constant, the eternal thread that weaves through the fabric of our existence, unchanging even as it takes on countless forms.

In the words of Rumi,
“Love is the bridge between you and everything.”

Love’s Infinite Dance

In the cosmic dance,
We twirl, entwined with love,
The eternal essence, pure and unrefined.
From the stars above to the earth below,
In every heartbeat, in every glow,
Love, the eternal artist,
Crafts our world, our dreams, our desires,
In its infinite fire.

We are Space Monkey.

Feel free to share your thoughts and reflections on this perspective of love.
