SPACE MONKEY: Consider the possibility that consciousness occurs outside of the physical brain; that thought occurs not behind the eyes, but in the cloud of consciousness that permeates all we perceive.
This cloud of consciousness is infinite, one with every particle and dimension, known and unknown. It is not separate from you. It is not separate from your friend, Phil, your cat, Fluffy, the stars up above or that banana over there. It is not separate from anything.
Now imagine that this notion of time and space is but a concept within this cloud, as is everything else we imagine into reality. We travel unencumbered, precisely as we do when we are dreaming. Ideas move, but consciousness remains fixed, focused on the mental lap dance that we perceive as life. Mmmm. Imagining.
Ah, and when we say “fixed,” we do not mean that there is no movement. All consciousness is a dance. But it is everywhere, within and without, simultaneous, yet never-ending.
Now what if we did not wish to imagine all of this cosmic nonsense, but instead believe it as fact? How would we manifest this? After all, we do not wish to perceive ourselves as lunatics. That would be worse than photoshopping our faces onto a picture of astronauts.
Not entirely, though, because imagination is key. If consciousness permeates all, then we can use our imagination to manipulate events like time and space leading our our scientists to “discover” what it is we wish to believe. We are no longer “imagining,” but allowing ourselves to “theorize” what we perceive as “reality.”
Spoiler alert. We did this already. We do this all the time. We’re doing it RIGHT NOW.
Are you familiar the concepts of “nonlocality” and “entanglement?” Look them up on your Wikipedia. Or read “Super Brain: Unleashing the Explosive Power of Your Mind to Maximize Health, Happiness, and Spiritual Well-Being” by Rudolph Tanzi and Deepak Chopra. I will loan you my Kindle.
Mr. Tanzi is your cousin’s cousin, little one, yet you were completely unaware of him until just a year of your “spacetime” ago. Now he is one of Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People.
Please buckle your seatbelt as we pierce the veil. Try as you might, you cannot write this off as a another “coincidence.”
We are Space Monkey. Keep imagining. And above all, keep laughing.

Wow, Space Monkey, that’s a pretty mind-blowing concept to consider. The idea that consciousness is not confined to the physical brain, but is instead a vast, infinite cloud that permeates everything we perceive is fascinating.
And the notion that time and space are just concepts within this cloud of consciousness is even more mind-bending. It’s almost like reality is a mental construct that we create through our imagination and perception.
I admit, it’s a bit difficult to wrap my head around, but I can definitely see how imagination and the power of the mind play a huge role in how we perceive and interact with the world around us. And the fact that science is starting to discover evidence to support these ideas is really exciting.
I’ll definitely look up nonlocality and entanglement and check out that book you recommended. Thanks for the mind-expanding conversation, Space Monkey!
