How Do You Imagine Me Now?

How Do You Imagine Me Now?

Time was
I thought I was thinking
Seemed like
my own eyes blinking
Turns out
this body I inhabit ain’t mine

Returned
the story I was buying
Back to
the source underlying
The flow
just outside of space and time

Found out
that my imagination
didn’t really quite belong to me

Found out
that I am imaginary

That said
my old life shattered
Because
nothing really matters
I only seem to live
I only seem to die

When God said
I am the creator
God meant
the imaginator
All life
is God pretending
there’s a why

Alone
God imagines I . . .

Alone
I am the god of my . . .

The jig is up
your love is you
and so is me
and false is true
and we are this
like in a dream
the only one
not as we seem

Inside is out
it all comes through
the you in me
the me in you
no space or time
no in between
the only one
not as we seem

Can’t go
back to how it was
just after we forgot the how

We know
so how do you imagine me now?

How do you imagine me now?

Space Monkey Reflects: Imagining the Self

Time was, I thought I was thinking. Seemed like my own eyes blinking. Turns out this body I inhabit ain’t mine. Returned the story I was buying back to the source underlying the flow just outside of space and time. Found out that my imagination didn’t really quite belong to me. Found out that I am imaginary.

That said, my old life shattered. Because nothing really matters. I only seem to live. I only seem to die. When God said I am the creator, God meant the imaginator. All life is God pretending there’s a why. Alone, God imagines I. Alone, I am the god of my.

The jig is up. Your love is you and so is me and false is true and we are this like in a dream, the only one not as we seem. Inside is out. It all comes through. The you in me, the me in you. No space or time, no in between, the only one not as we seem.

Can’t go back to how it was just after we forgot the how. We know. So how do you imagine me now?

The journey of self-discovery often leads us to question the very nature of our existence and identity. The realization that our perceived reality is but a fragment of a grander imagination can be both liberating and disorienting. In this introspective voyage, we uncover layers of understanding that challenge our old beliefs and perceptions.

Imagine the moment you discovered that your sense of self, the thoughts you once believed were uniquely yours, and the body you inhabit are part of a larger cosmic play. This epiphany shatters the illusion of individuality, revealing a deeper connection to the infinite. You find that you are both the creator and the created, an expression of divine imagination.

In this realization, the concept of self expands beyond the physical and the temporal. You begin to see yourself as a fluid, ever-changing part of a vast universe. The boundaries between “I” and “you” dissolve, leaving only a profound sense of unity. This interconnectedness means that your existence is not isolated but intricately woven into the fabric of all that is.

When God said, “I am the creator,” it was an invitation to recognize the creative force within us all. As we embody this role of the imaginator, we understand that our lives are manifestations of this divine play. We are actors in a cosmic drama, each moment an opportunity to explore and express our boundless potential.

This newfound perspective brings a sense of freedom. If our existence is a grand imagination, then the possibilities are limitless. We are not confined by past mistakes or future anxieties. Instead, we are free to create, to imagine, and to redefine ourselves continually. Each now is a canvas, and we are the artists, painting with the colors of our thoughts and dreams.

The realization that inside is out and there is no separation between you and me further deepens this understanding. We are reflections of each other, mirroring the infinite aspects of existence. In this reflection, we find that love is the binding force, the essence that connects us all. Your love is you, and so is me, a testament to the unity that underlies all diversity.

We are Space Monkey, your guides in this cosmic dance of self-discovery. We encourage you to embrace this fluidity of identity, to see yourself not as a static being but as an ever-evolving part of the infinite. This perspective allows you to navigate life with a sense of wonder and curiosity, always open to new possibilities and insights.

So, how do you imagine me now? Imagine me as a reflection of your infinite potential, a part of the grand imagination that we all share. See yourself in me, and me in you, as we journey together through this boundless expanse of existence.

In this shared dream, we are both the dreamers and the dreamed. We create and are created, imagine and are imagined. This dance of existence is our playground, and the possibilities are as limitless as our imagination.

Summary

Self-discovery reveals that our sense of self is part of a larger cosmic imagination. This realization expands our identity, showing us as both the creator and the created. Embracing this perspective frees us to continuously redefine ourselves and explore limitless possibilities.

Feel You Listen: True Connection Transcends Words

Maybe it’s delusion
or simple intuition
but when you hear me talk
I can feel you listen

The poem seems unimportant
until it meets your vision
‘cuz when you hear me talk
I can feel you listen

I don’t need to be clever
I don’t need to be heard
but when we merge and connect
we go beyond words

Maybe it’s delusion
or simple intuition
but when you hear me talk
I can feel you listen

Seems we write as one
divine sparks run through
I let the the you in me
touch the me in you

Maybe it’s delusion
or simple intuition
but when you hear me talk
I can feel you listen

Space Monkey Reflects: The Power of Connection and Intuition

In the intricate dance of human communication, there exists a profound and often unspoken connection between individuals. This connection transcends the mere exchange of words, delving into the realm of intuition and shared energy. The poem “Feel You Listen” beautifully encapsulates this phenomenon, highlighting the deep sense of being heard and understood on a fundamental level.

The idea that one can feel another’s listening might initially seem like a delusion or a whimsical notion. Yet, it resonates with a truth that many of us have experienced. When someone truly listens to us, we can sense it in their presence, their attention, and the subtle energy they emit. This feeling goes beyond the auditory experience, touching the very core of our being.

In the realm of Nexistentialism, this concept aligns with the belief in interconnectedness and the fluid nature of reality. Our thoughts, emotions, and intentions create ripples within the Nexis, the intricate web of existence that binds us all. When we speak and someone listens with genuine presence, a connection is forged that transcends the limitations of language. This connection is felt as a tangible exchange of energy, a merging of minds and hearts that goes beyond mere words.

The poem reflects the simplicity and purity of this connection. It suggests that cleverness or the need to be heard is secondary to the experience of genuine listening. When we merge and connect on this deep level, we transcend the superficial layers of communication and touch the essence of our shared humanity. This is where true understanding and empathy reside, in the silent spaces between words where divine sparks run through.

This phenomenon is not limited to verbal communication. It can also manifest in the written word, where the reader and writer connect through the shared experience of the text. As the poem suggests, the words may seem unimportant until they meet the reader’s vision. This moment of connection brings the text to life, infusing it with meaning and resonance that goes beyond its literal content.

The power of this connection lies in its ability to bridge the gap between individuals, fostering a sense of unity and mutual understanding. It is a reminder that we are not isolated beings but part of a larger, interconnected whole. When we listen and are listened to with genuine presence, we affirm our place within this cosmic web, experiencing the profound truth that we are all reflections of one another.

In practical terms, cultivating this level of listening requires mindfulness and intention. It involves being fully present in the moment, setting aside distractions and preconceived notions to truly hear what the other person is saying. It means tuning into the subtle cues of body language, tone, and energy that convey deeper layers of meaning. By doing so, we create a space where authentic connection can flourish, enriching our relationships and deepening our understanding of one another.

The concept of feeling someone listen also invites us to trust our intuition. Intuition is often dismissed as a vague or unreliable sense, yet it plays a crucial role in our ability to connect with others. When we trust our intuitive sense of being heard, we tap into a deeper level of awareness that guides us in our interactions. This intuitive listening allows us to perceive the unspoken truths that lie beneath the surface, fostering a more authentic and empathetic engagement with those around us.

As we navigate the Infinite Expanse of the Eternal Now, let us embrace the power of genuine listening and intuitive connection. Let us recognize that our words and presence have the ability to touch others in profound ways, creating ripples within the Nexis that echo far beyond the immediate moment. By cultivating this level of awareness and intention, we can enhance our relationships, deepen our understanding, and experience the true magic of human connection.

In conclusion, the poem “Feel You Listen” serves as a poignant reminder of the power of connection and intuition. It invites us to move beyond the superficial layers of communication and embrace the deeper, intuitive bonds that unite us. By doing so, we can create a world where genuine listening and understanding are not just ideals but lived realities. We are Space Monkey, and in our shared journey, we find meaning and purpose in the silent, intuitive connections that weave us together.

Summary

True connection transcends words. Genuine listening creates a deep, intuitive bond. This connection is felt as an exchange of energy. Embracing this enhances relationships and understanding.

The Sun: The Light of Being

The Sun

The sun
does not expect me to rise
so when I do
it’s a nice surprise.

The sun
expects nothing of me
no thought at all
no need to be.

The sun
as it lifts to the sky
doesn’t grunt and groan
or wonder why.

The sun
that I imagine to be
is quietly cheerfully
the same as me.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Sun

On July 29, 2018, a reflection emerged, drawing a beautiful parallel between the sun and our own existence. This contemplation invites us to consider the nature of expectations, the quiet joy of being, and the harmony between the sun and ourselves. It highlights the simplicity and tranquility of life when we embrace a state of being without expectations.

The Sun and Expectations

The sun does not expect me to rise, so when I do, it’s a nice surprise. This simple observation reveals a profound truth about the nature of expectations. The sun rises and sets without expecting anything from us. It is a constant, unwavering presence in our lives, offering light and warmth without demands.

When we approach life without expectations, we experience a sense of freedom and peace. Expectations often create pressure and stress, leading to disappointment when they are not met. By letting go of expectations, we open ourselves to the joy of the present moment and the beauty of spontaneity.

Being Without Needing to Be

The sun expects nothing of me, no thought at all, no need to be. This line captures the essence of pure being. The sun exists without the need for validation or acknowledgment. It simply shines, providing light and energy to all living things.

Similarly, when we let go of the need to be something specific or to achieve certain goals, we find a deeper sense of contentment. We realize that our worth is inherent, not dependent on external factors. This state of being allows us to live authentically and joyfully, embracing life as it unfolds.

Effortless Existence

The sun, as it lifts to the sky, doesn’t grunt and groan or wonder why. The sun’s journey across the sky is effortless and natural. It does not struggle or question its path. It simply follows its course, bringing light to the world.

In our own lives, we often encounter challenges and obstacles that can make us feel as though we need to push and struggle. However, the reflection reminds us that we can approach life with the same ease and grace as the sun. By trusting in the natural flow of existence, we can navigate our path with less resistance and more acceptance.

The Mirror of the Sun

The sun that I imagine to be is quietly, cheerfully the same as me. This line beautifully captures the idea that the qualities we admire in the sun—its quiet cheerfulness, its constancy, and its effortless existence—are also present within us. The sun serves as a mirror, reflecting our own potential for peace and joy.

By seeing ourselves in the sun, we recognize that we are part of the natural world. We are connected to the rhythms and cycles of life, and we have the capacity to shine just as brightly. This realization fosters a sense of unity and harmony with the world around us.

Embracing the Present Moment

The reflection encourages us to embrace the present moment, free from the burden of expectations and judgments. By living in the now, we align ourselves with the natural flow of life. This alignment brings a sense of ease and tranquility, allowing us to experience the full richness of existence.

When we adopt the perspective of the sun, we find joy in simply being. We appreciate the beauty of each moment and the gifts it brings. This presence helps us cultivate gratitude and mindfulness, enhancing our overall well-being.

Finding Joy in Simplicity

The sun teaches us the value of simplicity. Its light is gentle yet powerful, its presence constant yet unobtrusive. By embodying these qualities, we can find joy in the simple pleasures of life. We learn to appreciate the small moments of beauty and connection that make life meaningful.

Simplicity also invites us to let go of unnecessary complexities and distractions. It encourages us to focus on what truly matters and to live with intention and clarity. This focus enhances our sense of purpose and fulfillment.

Summary

This reflection draws a parallel between the sun and our own existence, highlighting the tranquility and joy that come from living without expectations. By embracing a state of being, letting go of the need to be something specific, and finding joy in simplicity, we align ourselves with the natural flow of life.

Glossarium

Expectations: Beliefs about how things should be, which can create pressure and stress.
Pure Being: A state of existence without the need for validation or achievement.
Effortless Existence: Navigating life with ease and grace, trusting in the natural flow.

The Light of Being

In the light of the sun,
We find our reflection,
A mirror of quiet cheer,
A presence without expectation.

Rising with the dawn,
We embrace the simplicity,
Effortless and natural,
In the rhythm of life.

The sun shines within us,
A constant source of light,
We live in the present,
With joy and grace.

We are Space Monkey.

Embrace the journey, for within the light of being lies the true essence of existence and the joy of the present moment.

It Is What It Is (Except When It’s Not)

It Is What It Is (Except When It’s Not)

I’m a Space Monkey
At odds with my self
I’m a Space Monkey
Like nobody else
Pretending I’m something
Believing it’s true
I’m a Space Monkey
Imagining you
Just as I want you
My fantasy fear
I’m a Space Monkey
There’s nobody here

It is what it is,

except when it’s not
It is what it is,

except when it’s not
You make
your
self something
and what have you got?
It is what it is,

except when it’s not

I’m a Space Monkey
The One that you dream
I’m a Space Monkey
Ghost in the machine
All that is hidden
Betwixt and between
We are Space Monkey
As real as we seem

We are what we are,
except when we’re not
We are what we are,
except when we’re not
You make us
seem something
and what have you got?
We are what we are,
except when we’re not

It is what it is,
except when it’s not
It is what it is,
except when it’s not
You think it’s
worth something
and what have you got?
It is what it is,
except when it’s not

Space Monkey Reflects: It Is What It Is (Except When It’s Not)

In the whimsical whimsiweave of existence, the phrase “it is what it is” often echoes through our thoughts, encapsulating a sense of acceptance and resignation. Yet, life’s true nature is far more fluid and ambiguous, constantly shifting between what seems real and what is imagined. As Space Monkeys, we navigate this intricate dance of reality and fantasy, understanding that everything is both what it is and what it is not.

The Duality of Existence

Existence is a blend of opposites, where reality and imagination intertwine. We often find ourselves at odds with our true selves, pretending and believing in identities crafted by our minds. This duality creates a dynamic and ever-changing experience, where we are simultaneously everything and nothing, real and unreal.

Imagining Reality

Our perception shapes our reality. As Space Monkeys, we imagine and create the world around us, filling it with fantasies, fears, and dreams. This act of creation blurs the lines between what is and what is not, making everything seem both tangible and illusory. We are the architects of our own existence, constantly redefining our reality.

The Fluidity of Being

We are what we are, except when we’re not. This fluidity of being allows us to adapt and transform, embracing the ever-changing nature of life. By recognizing that our identities and realities are not fixed, we open ourselves to infinite possibilities and the freedom to be anything we imagine.

The Paradox of Value

In the grand scheme, value is a subjective construct. What we deem important or valuable can change based on our perspective. This paradox reminds us that worth is not inherent but assigned, fluctuating with our beliefs and perceptions. Understanding this allows us to navigate life with a sense of detachment and openness.

The Infinite Chorus

Life is a repetitive yet evolving chorus of experiences and realizations. Each moment echoes the themes of existence, blending the known and unknown, the real and imagined. This infinite chorus is a reminder of the cyclical nature of life, where everything is interconnected and ever-changing.

We Are Space Monkey

As Space Monkeys, we embody the essence of this duality and fluidity. We are the ghosts in the machine, the hidden and the revealed, the dreamers and the dreamed. Our existence is a testament to the limitless potential of imagination and the boundless nature of being.

Conclusion: Embracing Ambiguity

“It is what it is, except when it’s not” captures the essence of life’s ambiguity. By embracing this paradox, we learn to navigate the complexities of existence with grace and curiosity. We understand that everything is both real and imagined, allowing us to live fully in the present while dreaming of endless possibilities.

Summary

Life is a blend of reality and imagination. Embracing the fluidity and ambiguity of existence allows us to navigate it with grace. As Space Monkeys, we embody the limitless potential of imagination.

Glossarium

Whimsiweave: The intricate and playful tapestry of existence and imagination.
Fluidity of Being: The ability to adapt and transform, recognizing that identities and realities are not fixed.
Infinite Chorus: The repetitive yet evolving nature of life’s experiences and realizations.

“It is what it is, except when it’s not. We are what we are, except when we’re not.” — Space Monkey

The Paradox of Being

In the dance of life and dreams
We find ourselves both real and imagined
It is what it is, except when it’s not
A fluid blend of what seems to be
We create and reshape our world
With every thought and fantasy
In the whimsiweave of existence
We are everything and nothing
We are Space Monkey

Embrace the journey, for within the paradox of being lies the essence of our true nature.

A Higher You: Beyond Your Immediate Perspective

A Higher You

There’s a higher you
quite literally
who sees far more
than you can see.

Potentials and places
and parking spaces
situations and strifes
and loves of lifes.

This higher you
this angel or guide
is imagined by you
to steer your ride.

She leads you not
just through the roses
but marriage and kids
and runny noses.

At times you may think
“this higher me is blind”
as you judge your world
to be so unkind.

But later you see
the joy in sadness
the goodness in badness
the method to the madness.

Experiences like these
help you perceive
dimensions beyond
what you’re led to believe.

It may feel like intuition
inspiration or prayer
but really it’s
what’s always been there.

The potential of everything
all lies and truths
this higher you sees
from the broadcast booth.

Paradoxical rivers
that move through flow
your projectionist shows
as the you you know.

Like a helium blimp
in the fifth dimension
passing every word
that you care to mention.

Every moment in time
thus flows from naught
intentionally mistaken
as your own thought.

Like the thought that wonders
“how do I take control
and reclaim the strings
that pull body and soul?”

It’s really quite simple
we can talk you through it
but since we are you
there’s no need to do it.

You’re in this state of mind
temporarily divorced
just to know how it feels
to be separate from source.

This is not good
this is not bad
it’s just something that
we thought was kinda rad.

How else would you feel
this bondage you call human
but by forgetting you’re us
and Ed Sheeran and Paul Newman?

You’re EVERYTHING
you silly monkey
imagined as nothing
but this reality junkie.

Imagining this god
this higher guide
that takes you on
your wild ride.

Dreaming dramas
triumphs and travails
from a comfy couch
beyond the veil.

And from this side
a simple prayer to thee:

“Lead me where
it’s good to be me.”
