Yes, this is big, goofy me, at about 7 a.m. I edited a video of Alex going off to college yesterday, and it seems to have triggered this song. Needs practice (lots) and I obviously need some grooming (lots) but I wanted to share anyway.This is for those leaving on new adventures, and for those who have just realized that the adventure so far is likely at least halfway over. Perhaps this is backwards, and musically cliche, but my son, Alex Tedeschi, is my hero. My hero moved out this week, and moved in as a Freshman in the UConn Honors Program. Alex, you so completely earned this — the scholarship, everything. Maybe one day you’ll explain to me what this Microcellular Biology thingie is all about. At least I understand “Marching Band,” which is why you moved out a week sooner than Mom, Hallie and I would have liked. Sorry for following you around with my video camera, but I never want to forget a single thing about you. Love, Dad.
