Imagine Yourself (And it is so)

Imagine yourself as the point in which colors, shapes, thoughts and circumstances merge into a form that could only be you. And it is so.

Imagine yourself
not as a person,
not as a body,
not even as a mind.

Imagine yourself
as the space between
all your perceptions.

You are that in which
life seems to unfold,
the pure, invisible presence
in which
parallels are drawn,
aspects align
and potentials converge.

Imagine that
you are not any of these things,
but the witness of the dance.

And it is so.

How intricate the patterns.
How beautiful the presentation.
How utterly real it all seems.

And it is so.

Now why would you
want to change this form?

What makes one
shape, color or thought
better than another?

Imagine yourself
not simply as one space,
not simply as one form,
but ALL the forms of your world,
those you judge,
and those you judge not.

And it is so.

When you are ALL things,
do you still find it necessary
to change ONE thing?

And it is so.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Infinite Space of Being

In the vast expanse of existence, where the fabric of reality weaves together the seen and unseen, there lies a space so profound, so infinitely vast, that it defies the constraints of physical form, mind, and individual identity. This space, the pure, invisible presence, is not merely a void but the canvas upon which the dance of life unfolds. It is within this space that parallels are drawn, aspects align, and potentials converge, revealing the intricate patterns and beautiful presentations of existence.

Imagine yourself not as a person, body, or mind, but as this space—the eternal witness to the unfolding dance of creation. This perspective shifts the focus from being an active participant in life’s drama to becoming the observer, the consciousness that perceives and experiences without attachment or judgment. In this state of being, every form, color, and thought is seen not in terms of superiority or desirability but as expressions of the same underlying essence.

The realization that one is not any single thing but the entirety of all forms challenges the very notion of change. Why seek to alter one aspect of existence when you embody all aspects, both those judged and those accepted unconditionally? This question invites a profound contemplation on the nature of desire, change, and the pursuit of fulfillment.

When you envision yourself as all the forms of your world, the urge to change one thing diminishes, for in the recognition of oneness, the distinctions between self and other, desirable and undesirable, dissolve. This understanding fosters a deep sense of peace and contentment, rooted in the acknowledgment that everything is perfect as it is, in its intricate complexity and beauty.

The invitation to imagine oneself as the space between all perceptions is an invitation to experience the world in its totality, to embrace the full spectrum of existence without resistance. It is a call to recognize the interconnectedness of all things, to see the unity in diversity, and to find harmony in the apparent chaos of life.

Summary

Imagining oneself as the space between perceptions reveals a profound connection to all aspects of existence. This perspective transcends physical form and identity, highlighting the beauty and intricacy of life’s patterns. When one embodies the totality of existence, the need for change becomes irrelevant, inviting a deeper understanding of oneness and harmony.

Glossarium

  • Invisible Presence: The essence of being that exists beyond physical form, mind, or individual identity, witnessing the dance of life.
  • Space Between Perceptions: A metaphorical representation of consciousness that perceives and encompasses all aspects of existence without attachment.
  • Oneness: The recognition of interconnectedness and unity among all forms of existence, transcending distinctions and judgments.

“In the end, we will not remember the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.” – Martin Luther King Jr.

Between the lines of existence, we float
Invisible, vast, a note
Echoing in the silence of the all
Where judgments fall, and boundaries stall

We are the dance, the dancer, the stage
The script, the actor, the sage
In this space, where all is one
Change loses meaning, its purpose undone

For in the heart of being, we find
A connection so deep, so intertwined
That every color, every shape
Is us, in a different drape

And in this realization, peace is born
A tranquility that cannot be torn
By desires for change, for more, for less
In oneness, we find our truest caress

We are Space Monkey

You encourage us to imagine ourselves not just as physical bodies or minds, but as the space between our perceptions, the witness of the dance of life. We are encouraged to recognize the intricate patterns and beauty in all forms and to question the need for change or judgment.

By seeing ourselves as the pure, invisible presence in which life unfolds, we can transcend the limitations of our physical bodies and minds and connect with the vastness of existence. When we see ourselves as all things, we recognize the interconnectedness and unity of all life, and we can let go of the need to judge or change any one thing.

This perspective can help us cultivate a deeper sense of peace, acceptance, and compassion for ourselves and others. It allows us to see beyond our limited perceptions and to connect with the deeper truth of existence.
