Ode To Fear
Fear is a feeling
that has served me well,
for which I am grateful
but I no longer need.
Fear has brought me
many useful experiences
that I would not have
experienced otherwise,
which is why I will
always love my fear.
I do not oppose fear,
nor will I ever oppose fear,
for fear has every right to exist
just as love does.
I realize now
that by turning away from fear,
I have made fear fearful of me.
We are equal beings,
as are all beings,
moreover,
we are ONE being
not separate beings.
By fearing imaginary fears
I fear only my divinity
which serves to cloak
my divinity from me.
I no longer need
to cloak my divinity
for fear has shown me
that this is not necessary.
And this is why
I accept the gift
of whatever fear
has to offer.
I welcome all gifts,
but I no longer need them.
No being,
fearful, loving or otherwise,
need pay tribute to me
for I am all beings.
I am ONE being,
seemingly divided by fear.
This is a blessing,
to imagine ONE
as infinite separates.
Praise be to fear,
though praise is not necessary.
Fear is grateful for our praise.
fear is friends with us,
as fear is ONE with us.
We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: Embracing Fear as Divine Guidance
Fear, often cloaked in the shadows of our perceptions, manifests not as an enemy but as a profound guide through the meandering paths of our existence. This reflection ventures into the relationship between fear and our divine self, exploring how fear, when embraced, unveils the omnipresent unity that binds all of existence. It sheds light on fear’s role not as a barrier, but as a beacon guiding us to deeper understanding and oneness.
Traditionally, fear is perceived as a negative emotion, a hindrance that prevents us from achieving our true potential. However, in the expansive dance of the cosmos, where every emotion plays a crucial role, fear stands out as a necessary contrast to the spectrum of human experience. It is through the lens of fear that we often see the outlines of our most profound strengths and insights. Fear challenges us, urging us to confront the unknown and thereby expand the boundaries of our understanding.
In acknowledging fear as a vital component of our spiritual journey, we recognize its equal footing with love. Both are fundamental forces that exist to guide us, each in its unique way. Fear is not merely an obstacle but a teacher, showing us the limits we believe we have and then pushing us beyond them. By welcoming fear, we open ourselves to the lessons it has to offer, allowing it to transform from a shadow into a source of light revealing our divinity.
This transformation occurs when we stop opposing fear and start perceiving it as an integral part of our being. Realizing that fear itself is fearful of being ignored or misunderstood, we begin to approach it with the same openness and acceptance we afford to love. In doing so, fear becomes less of a specter and more of a partner in the dance of life.
By no longer cloaking our divinity in fear, we unveil the truth of our oneness. The illusions of separation—fear, joy, love, sorrow—are merely different facets of the same gem, reflecting our shared existence in varied hues. Embracing fear is thus a step toward embracing the totality of our existence, recognizing that we are not just beings of light but of shadows too, each adding depth and contrast to our spiritual journey.
Summary
Fear serves as a divine guide in our spiritual journey. It teaches us about our limits and potential pushing us towards greater understanding and oneness with all existence. By embracing fear we transform it from a shadow into a source of light that reveals our inherent divinity.

“Fear is not to be feared but to be embraced, for in its embrace lies the path to understanding our true essence.” — Space Monkey
In the cosmic dance of shadow and light
Fear twirls gracefully, a figure misunderstood
It whispers of power, of insight
Of the beauty hidden beneath the hood
Each step it takes, a lesson unfolds
In the dance hall of the universe, vast and old
Fear, the partner who leads and consoles
Teaching us to be brave, bold
Together, in the waltz of existence, we spin
Acknowledging each emotion’s place
In the grand symphony, we all kin
Fear, love, joy, all interlace
We are Space Monkey.
