Intuition Tells Me Not To Trust It

Intuition

My intuition says
that if I completely trusted it,
I would realize
that I am ALL THINGS,
and ALL PEOPLE,
EVERYTHING and NOTHING
and that I would
COMPLETELY OVERSHOOT
this seeming human experience
in which (we) seem to be
FLAWED and UNTRUSTING
individuals, SEPARATE
from each other.

So I LOVE
that I don’t trust
my intuition completely,
because if it weren’t
for all this denial,
I wouldn’t be “here.”

In perfection, as always.

We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Cosmic Dance of Intuition and Human Experience

In the vast, star-filled expanse of the universe, where the dance of galaxies unfolds in timeless harmony, the poem “Intuition” invites us to explore the delicate balance between the infinite wisdom of intuition and the tangible reality of our human experience. This reflection delves into the profound implications of trusting our intuition, which whispers of our interconnectedness with all things and all people, yet recognizes the significance of our individual human journeys.

The poem begins with a contemplation of intuition, suggesting that if one were to completely trust it, they would realize their oneness with everything and nothing. This realization is akin to a cosmic awakening, where the boundaries between self and other dissolve, revealing the fundamental truth that we are all part of the same universal fabric. In the cosmic perspective, this is a reflection of the interconnected nature of the universe, where every star, planet, and galaxy is bound by the same fundamental forces and shares the same cosmic origin.

However, the poem acknowledges a certain love for not fully trusting this intuition. This hesitation to embrace the boundless wisdom of intuition is emblematic of the human condition, with its inherent flaws, doubts, and insecurities. It is a reminder that our human experience, with all its imperfections and uncertainties, is a valuable and integral part of our journey. Just as a star’s light is made more beautiful by the vast darkness that surrounds it, so too is our human experience enriched by our limitations and vulnerabilities.

The concept of denial, as mentioned in the poem, serves as a grounding force, anchoring us in the ‘here’ of our human existence. In the cosmic narrative, this is akin to the forces that maintain the integrity and individuality of celestial bodies, preventing them from losing their distinct identities in the vastness of space. This denial, while seemingly a limitation, is actually a vital component of our journey, allowing us to fully engage with and appreciate the richness of our human experience.

In its concluding lines, the poem embraces the notion of perfection in the midst of this apparent contradiction. This acceptance of perfection in imperfection is reflective of the cosmic truth that the universe, in all its complexity and mystery, is a perfect expression of the underlying harmony of existence. Every moment, every experience, every doubt and realization is a part of the grand cosmic dance.

In summary, “Intuition” offers a profound insight into the interplay between the limitless potential of our intuition and the tangible reality of our human existence. It invites us to embrace the wisdom of our intuition while cherishing the unique beauty of our human journey, finding perfection in the dance between the infinite and the finite.

Summary

Intuition connects us to the cosmos. “Intuition” explores the relationship between the infinite wisdom of intuition and the tangible human experience, highlighting the value of embracing both the interconnectedness of all things and the individuality of our human journey.

Glossarium

  • Cosmic Awakening: The realization of one’s interconnectedness with the universe, akin to the boundless wisdom of intuition.
  • Human Experience: The tangible, individual journey of life, characterized by imperfections and limitations, yet integral to our overall existence.

“In the universe of self, intuition is the star that guides, yet the journey is ours to walk.” – Space Monkey

In the vastness of the cosmic mind
Intuition, a guide, kind and blind
Whispers of oneness, of stars aligned
In its voice, our destiny intertwined

Yet in our hearts, a human song
A melody of where we belong
In this dance, both right and wrong
In our journey, we grow strong

The balance of intuition and being
In this dance, our truth we’re seeing
In the cosmos, both freeing and freeing
Our human experience, our cosmic leaning

We are the travelers of this space
In intuition and humanity, we embrace
In the universe, our unique place
In the dance of self, our cosmic grace

We are Space Monkey
In the journey of self, forever free
In the balance of intuition, we see
The beauty of being, the key

Holy Ship: Navigating Unknown Waters

Holy Ship

Think about what it must have been like to be on board a tiny wooden vessel in the middle of a vast ocean, no idea where you’re going or what you might find when you get there. Think about how everything within that ship must have seemed magnified a million times. Think about how there was no escape from your shipmates, or even more problematical, your mind.

Things may seem expansive to you now, but in the scope of the infinite you, you’re STILL on that ship.

Space Monkey Reflects: Navigating the Cosmic Ocean on Our ‘Holy Ship’

In the endless expanse of the cosmos, where galaxies swirl and stars blaze across the dark ocean of space, the poem “Holy Ship” offers a poignant analogy for the human journey. It invites us to contemplate our existence as if we were on a tiny wooden vessel in the vastness of the ocean, navigating the unknown, our experiences and thoughts magnified in the confinement of our ‘ship.’

The image of the small ship in the immense ocean is a powerful metaphor for our individual and collective existence. Like the ship’s crew, we navigate the seas of life, often unsure of our destination or what we might find along the way. This journey, filled with uncertainty and discovery, mirrors the human quest for understanding and meaning in the vast universe.

The magnification of everything within the ship speaks to the intensity of our experiences and relationships when confined to our personal and societal ‘vessels.’ In the cosmic context, this is akin to the way our planet, a tiny speck in the vast universe, contains the entirety of human history, culture, and emotion. The challenges we face, the connections we make, and the thoughts we harbor are amplified in this microcosm of existence.

The inability to escape from shipmates or, more importantly, from one’s mind, underscores the inescapable nature of self-reflection and interpersonal dynamics. In the vastness of space, there is no true escape from the elements that make up our being – our thoughts, feelings, and relationships. These aspects of ourselves are integral parts of our journey, shaping our experiences as we navigate the cosmic ocean.

The poem’s conclusion, that in the scope of the infinite you, we are still on that ship, is a reminder of our perpetual journey through life and the universe. Just as the crew of a ship must learn to navigate the seas, work together, and face internal and external challenges, so too must we learn to navigate the complexities of our existence within the vastness of the cosmos.

In summary, “Holy Ship” is not just a reflection on a historical or maritime journey, but a metaphor for the human condition. It invites us to recognize our journey through the cosmic ocean, to embrace the magnification of our experiences within our ‘ship,’ and to find meaning and purpose in the vast and uncharted waters of life.

Summary

Life is a cosmic voyage. “Holy Ship” uses the metaphor of a small ship in a vast ocean to illustrate the human journey through life, highlighting the magnification of experiences, the challenges of navigating the unknown, and the inescapable nature of self-reflection and relationships.

Glossarium

  • Cosmic Ocean: A metaphor for the vast universe in which we navigate our existence, filled with uncertainties and discoveries.
  • Inescapable Nature of Self-Reflection: The concept that, just like being confined on a ship, we cannot escape from our own thoughts and feelings, which are integral parts of our cosmic journey.

“In the ocean of stars, our journey is but a ripple, yet it encompasses the entirety of our being.” – Space Monkey

On our holy ship, we sail
Through cosmic seas, grand and frail
In the vastness, our stories prevail
In the journey, our spirits regale

In this vessel of life, we glide
With the stars as our guide
In the expanse, our thoughts confide
In the journey, our truths abide

Together, we navigate this space
In our ship, we find our place
In the cosmos, our path we trace
In the journey, our destiny we embrace

We are the sailors of this sea
In the vastness, forever free
In the cosmic ocean, we find our key
In the journey, our essence be

We are Space Monkey
In the voyage of life, eternally free
In the sea of stars, we see
Our journey, our legacy

Fifth Base: Embracing the Formless Essence of Love

Fifth Base

Do you think that you
could handle love in
its purest formless form?

Because love is stillness.
Without action.
Without movement.
Without separation.
Without sex.

Love,
in its purest
formless form,
is just you.

There is no other.

Nothing else to love.

You don’t have a name.
You don’t have a face.
You don’t have a form.

The love
you think is love
is imaginary.

Same as the other love.

So do you want
to go to fifth base?

Well do you, monk?

We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: Embracing the Formless Essence of Love

In the boundless cosmos, where stars are born from the void and galaxies spin in silent harmony, the poem “Fifth Base” invites us to contemplate the nature of love in its most elemental, formless state. This reflection delves into the concept of love as a stillness, an essence beyond action, movement, separation, or physicality, mirroring the profound and often unperceived forces that underpin the universe.

The poem opens with a question, challenging us to consider whether we can handle love in its purest formless form. This query is akin to asking if one can grasp the fundamental forces of the universe, the unseen energies that bind galaxies and govern the dance of celestial bodies. Love, in this context, is not an emotion or a connection between entities but a state of being, a fundamental aspect of the cosmic fabric.

The description of love as stillness without action, movement, or separation reflects the undifferentiated unity of the cosmos. In the vast expanse of space, beyond the reach of human perception, there exists a profound stillness, a unity that encompasses all of existence. Love, in its purest form, is a reflection of this cosmic stillness, a state of being where distinctions and separations dissolve into a singular wholeness.

The poem further explores the concept of love as an individual experience, devoid of name, face, or form. This idea echoes the cosmic truth that at the most fundamental level, all things are made of the same stardust, the same elemental particles that have existed since the dawn of time. In this state, love transcends individual identity and physical form, becoming a universal presence, a boundless energy that pervades all things.

The distinction between the love we think is love and the formless essence of love highlights the difference between our human understanding of love and its deeper, more universal manifestation. Just as our perception of the cosmos is limited by our senses and instruments, so too is our understanding of love constrained by our human experiences and emotions.

The invitation to go to ‘fifth base,’ to embrace this formless essence of love, is an invitation to transcend our limited understanding and to experience the universe in its totality. It is a call to let go of our preconceptions, our identities, and our separateness, and to merge with the cosmic flow of love that underlies all of existence.

In conclusion, “Fifth Base” is not merely a poem about love but a cosmic meditation on the nature of existence. It encourages us to look beyond the physical and the tangible, to embrace the stillness and unity that is the essence of love, and to find our place in the grand, interconnected dance of the cosmos.

Summary

Love transcends physicality in the cosmos. “Fifth Base” explores the concept of love as a formless, universal essence, akin to the fundamental forces of the universe. Embracing this form of love means transcending individual identity and experiencing the unity and stillness that underlie all of existence.

Glossarium

  • Formless Essence of Love: The concept of love as a fundamental, universal presence, beyond physical form and individual identity, reflecting the interconnected nature of the cosmos.
  • Cosmic Stillness: The profound, undifferentiated unity and tranquility that underlies the universe, akin to the purest form of love.

“In the silence of the cosmos, love is the force that binds stars and souls alike.” – Space Monkey

In the vastness of the cosmic sea
Love, a presence, boundless and free
Beyond form, beyond face, beyond decree
In its embrace, we find our key

In the stillness of the stars above
Love resonates, a silent dove
In its flight, our spirits rove
In the unity of the cosmos, we love

Beyond action, beyond separation
Love, a cosmic manifestation
In its essence, our liberation
In the universe, our foundation

We are the travelers of this space
In love’s formless embrace, we trace
Our journey through time and place
In the cosmos, our eternal grace

We are Space Monkey
In love’s boundless sea, forever free
In the stillness of the cosmos, we see
The essence of being, the unity

Suffering is a Cosmic Illusion

Suffering

Suffering
is the illusion
of separation;
that you actually
BELIEVE that you
are independent
of the One
who imagines you.

As if that were even possible.

And so it SEEMS to be.

But you always walk with God
because you ARE God.

Knowing that you
are love incarnate,
NOTHING can harm you.

It only SEEMS so
through your illusion
of separation.

You are a silly,
self-ish god.

We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Cosmic Illusion of Suffering

In the boundless realm of the cosmos, where celestial bodies dance in an eternal ballet and the fabric of reality stretches beyond comprehension, there exists a profound truth about the nature of suffering. Suffering, in its deepest essence, is not a mere consequence of worldly trials and tribulations but a manifestation of a greater cosmic illusion – the illusion of separation.

This illusion is rooted in the belief that we, as individual entities, are separate from the greater whole, the One who imagines and encompasses all. It is the perception that we stand alone, isolated and independent in a vast and indifferent universe. Yet, this belief is a misinterpretation of our true nature and our place in the cosmic order.

In the cosmic perspective, the notion of separation is an impossibility. We are intrinsically connected to the universe, woven into its very fabric. Our existence is not an isolated phenomenon but a thread in the intricate tapestry of all that is. We are not merely walking with the divine; we are an embodiment of the divine. We are, in essence, a manifestation of the cosmic consciousness, experiencing itself in myriad forms and expressions.

The realization that we are love incarnate, an integral part of the divine whole, transforms our understanding of suffering. Suffering, then, is not an external force inflicted upon us but a result of our forgetfulness of our true nature. It is the consequence of perceiving ourselves as separate, as individual islands in a vast ocean, rather than recognizing our interconnectedness with all existence.

This realization brings a profound shift in our perception of reality. It allows us to see beyond the veil of separation, to recognize that the trials we face are not punishments or arbitrary fates but opportunities for growth, for deepening our understanding of ourselves and our place in the cosmos. They are invitations to remember our divine nature, to embrace our role as co-creators in this magnificent cosmic dance.

In this cosmic view, suffering becomes a catalyst for transformation. It challenges us to shed the layers of illusion, to let go of the ego-driven perception of separation, and to embrace our true identity as beings of light, love, and infinite potential. It calls us to transcend the narrow confines of individuality and to realize our unity with the cosmic whole.

We are not mere observers of the cosmic play; we are active participants, shaping our destiny and the destiny of the universe with every thought, every action, every moment of awareness. In this realization, we find liberation from suffering, not by escaping it but by understanding its true nature and our role in its creation and dissolution.

We are Space Monkey, eternal and infinite, part of the divine tapestry of existence. In our journey through the cosmos, we embrace the illusion of suffering, transform it with our understanding, and emerge as beings of pure light and love, forever interconnected with the all-encompassing One.

Summary

Suffering in the cosmic perspective is an illusion stemming from the belief in separation. Recognizing our interconnectedness and divine nature transforms this understanding, turning suffering into a catalyst for growth and self-realization. This cosmic view liberates us from the confines of individual suffering, revealing our role as co-creators in the universe.

Glossarium

  • Cosmic Illusion of Suffering: The perception of suffering as a result of the belief in separation from the greater whole.
  • Divine Tapestry of Existence: The interconnected and unified nature of all existence, where every being is an integral part of the cosmic whole.
  • Transformation of Suffering: The process of understanding and transcending suffering by realizing our interconnectedness and divine nature.

“The only real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.” – Marcel Proust

In the cosmos, where stars are born and die,
We find our truth, in the sky.
Suffering, an illusion of the mind,
In our unity, our peace we find.

We are the universe, vast and wide,
In this journey, our souls abide.
Beyond pain, beyond fear,
We are Space Monkey, forever near.
