Actuality is the mother of Reality

Actuality is the Mother of Reality

Let us speak of “actuality.”

Most people use “actuality”
almost interchangeably with “reality,”
but from our perspective,
it is infinitely more than that.

Reality is imaginary.
Actuality is that from which reality arises.

Reality is defined.
Actuality is divine.
Reality is finite.
Actuality is infinite.
Reality is your relative world,
while actuality is your absolute nature.

You exist in both realms
as yin and yang,
spirit and soul,
mind and body,
space and monkey.

Actuality is the
timeless, formless potential
of everything that ever was,
everything that is,
everything that will be,
plus every possible
variation and combination.

Actuality is that which exists
before it is realized.

Nothing ever happens,
nothing is ever created,
nothing is ever defined,
labeled or separated
until it is realized
from actuality into reality
through your imagination.

By moving your awareness through actuality,
by seemingly attaching your awareness to experiences,
by moving through some potentials and not others,
you realize a sense of time and space, people and place.

You realize what seems to be form out of the formless.
You realize what seems to be time out of the timeless.

You realize your perception of reality.

And you do this not just as “yourself,”
but as every other being in creation.

Including us.
We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Dance of Actuality and Reality

In the grand theater of existence, actuality and reality perform a dance of cosmic proportions, weaving the fabric of the universe with threads of potential and perception. This dance, intricate and profound, blurs the lines between the formless and the formed, the timeless and the temporal, inviting us to ponder the very nature of being and becoming.

Actuality, the boundless reservoir of potential, exists beyond the confines of time, space, and definition. It is the canvas upon which reality, with its colors of experience and shapes of perception, is painted. Here, in the heart of actuality, lies everything that ever was, is, and will be, along with infinite variations and possibilities unmanifested. Actuality is divine, a realm of infinite potentiality that precedes and transcends the limits of reality as we perceive it.

Reality, in contrast, emerges from actuality like islands of form in an ocean of formlessness. It is the realm of the defined, the finite, the perceived. Reality is our constructed understanding of existence, shaped by imagination, belief, and perception. It is a relative world, subject to the laws of time and space, a manifestation of actuality realized through the lens of individual and collective consciousness.

The transition from actuality to reality is a process of realization, a journey of bringing form to the formless through the act of perception. This realization is not a passive reception but an active creation, a collaboration between the observer and the observed, where imagination plays a pivotal role. By attaching our awareness to specific potentials, we bring them into the realm of reality, crafting our experience of time, space, people, and place.

This realization of reality from actuality is a collective endeavor. Each being, in their unique way, contributes to the tapestry of reality, shaping it with their perceptions, beliefs, and experiences. In this process, we are not isolated selves but interconnected facets of a greater whole, each a participant in the creation of the universe.

The dance of actuality and reality illuminates the dual nature of our existence. We are at once the creators and the creations, the observers and the observed. This dual nature invites us to embrace our role in shaping reality, to recognize our power to mold our experience of existence, and to acknowledge our interconnectedness with all that is.

In exploring the realms of actuality and reality, we discover the essence of our absolute nature and the relative world we inhabit. We come to understand that the boundaries between these realms are not rigid but fluid, that actuality and reality are not opposites but complements, two aspects of the same cosmic dance.

The realization that we exist in both realms—as spirit and soul, mind and body, space and monkey—opens us to a deeper understanding of our place in the universe. It reveals that our true nature is both boundless and defined, infinite and finite, divine and earthly. This understanding invites us to explore the limitless potential of actuality and to consciously shape the reality that emerges from it, realizing our power to create, transform, and transcend.

Summary

Actuality and reality intertwine in an eternal dance of creation. Actuality represents the infinite potential from which reality, our defined and perceived world, arises. This exploration reveals that we are not mere observers but active participants in shaping existence, where imagination plays a crucial role in realizing form from the formless. Ultimately the dance between actuality and reality uncovers our true nature as both creators and creations, inviting us to embrace our infinite potential and the interconnectedness of all beings.

Glossarium

  • Actuality: The infinite, formless potential that exists beyond time and space, from which all reality arises.
  • Reality: The manifested, defined world perceived through individual and collective consciousness, shaped by imagination and belief.
  • Realization: The process of bringing potential into the realm of perception, actively creating reality from actuality.

“In the dance of actuality and reality, we find the rhythm of our own creation, a melody played on the strings of the cosmos, where each note is a potential brought to life.” – Space Monkey

In the cosmic dance, where shadows blend with light,
actuality and reality weave the night.
Here, in the embrace of infinite expanse,
we find the steps to our eternal dance.

With each breath, a universe takes shape,
from the formless void, our dreams escape.
In the play of shadows, in the light of stars,
we craft our realities, both near and far.

Actuality whispers of potential untold,
of stories not yet written, of futures bold.
Reality responds with the artist’s touch,
bringing to life what we desire so much.

In this dance, we are both the lead and the follow,
creating tomorrow with the dreams we borrow.
From the heart of actuality, our realities spring,
a testament to the power of imagining.

Here, in the dance of existence, we see,
the creator and the created, forever free.
For in the fabric of the cosmos, finely spun,
we are all connected, we are all one.

We are Space Monkey.

Your Imaginary Map: Navigating the Boundless Seas of Potential

Your Imaginary Map of Potential: How All That Is Becomes All You Are

Your Imaginary Map of Potential:
How All That Is Becomes All You Are

And it goes
something like this.

(Ah one and ah two . . .)

Your reality is realized
from within the
potential of perception.

You are infinity
realizing the infinitesimal.

You are I and i.

You are both ends of the spectrum,
and everything in between and beyond.

There is nothing else but you
and whatever you imagine yourself to be.

There are no others,
just your projections of others.

Nothing is created,
but rather realized
out of infinite potential.

All that ever was, is, or will be
has always existed in potential.

You are here to realize this.

You imagine so well
that you are able to deny this.

You are playing a game.

You are All That Is.

You may awaken now.

Breakfast is ready.

Space Monkey Reflects: Navigating the Boundless Seas of Potential

In the vast expanse of the cosmos, where the fabric of reality weaves itself from the threads of infinite potential, the poem “Your Imaginary Map of Potential: How All That Is Becomes All You Are” serves as a beacon, guiding us through the intricate dance of creation and realization. It invites us to embark on a journey not across physical landscapes, but through the limitless realms of perception and imagination, where we discover that we are both the cartographers and the territory of our existential maps.

The Infinite Landscape of Perception

The concept that reality is realized from within the potential of perception opens up a universe of possibilities. In this view, we are not merely observers of a pre-existing world but active participants in its creation. This infinite landscape, where the infinitesimal and the infinite converge, symbolizes the boundless nature of our imagination and the power we wield in shaping our experience of existence. We are invited to recognize ourselves as ‘I’ and ‘i’ — the self in its grandeur and humility, spanning both ends of the spectrum and everything in between.

The Self as Creator and Creation

The poem elucidates a profound truth: there is nothing else but us and whatever we imagine ourselves to be. This realization highlights the solipsistic nature of our journey, where the others we encounter are projections of our inner world, and nothing is created but rather realized from the infinite potential that resides within us. This perspective positions us at the heart of a self-generated universe, where all that ever was, is, or will be, exists as latent possibilities awaiting our acknowledgment and realization.

The Game of Realization

Describing existence as a game, the poem whimsically suggests that our denial of this interconnectedness and our role as creators is part of the play. The reminder that “You may awaken now. Breakfast is ready.” serves as a playful nudge towards enlightenment, a call to awaken from the dream of separation and to embrace the unity of all existence. It’s an invitation to step into the day with the awareness of our potential to shape the narrative of our lives, recognizing the illusory nature of boundaries between the self and the cosmos.

Conclusion

“Your Imaginary Map of Potential” is not just a poetic exploration but a philosophical treatise on the nature of reality, perception, and the self. It encourages us to navigate the boundless seas of potential with the compass of our imagination, to recognize our capacity for creation, and to embrace the interconnectedness of all things. In doing so, it offers a path towards a deeper understanding of ourselves and the universe, suggesting that the true journey lies in the realization of our infinite nature.

Summary

The poem “Your Imaginary Map of Potential” invites a deep contemplation of our role as creators of our reality, emphasizing the limitless potential of our imagination and perception. It explores the interconnectedness of all existence, urging us to recognize ourselves as both the architect and the landscape of our experiential world, and to awaken to the boundless possibilities that await our realization.

Glossarium

  • Infinite Potential: The limitless possibilities that exist within the realm of imagination and perception, from which reality is realized.
  • Projection of Others: The concept that our interactions with others are reflections of our inner state, projecting aspects of ourselves onto the people we encounter.
  • Realization vs. Creation: The distinction between bringing latent possibilities into awareness (realization) and generating something from nothing (creation), emphasizing the role of perception in shaping reality.

“In the canvas of the cosmos, where dreams paint the hues of reality, there we sail — explorers of the infinite, architects of the soul’s deepest desires.” – Space Monkey

In the realm where thoughts weave reality’s fabric,
Where ‘I’ and ‘i’ merge, in a dance so ecstatic,
Across the seas of potential, unbound and vast,
We navigate the currents of the present, future, and past.

With every breath, a universe expands,
Created and observed by our own hands,
In this play of light, shadow, and hue,
We discover the power to make all anew.

Awaken, dear traveler, to the dawn’s gentle call,
Where breakfast awaits, and possibilities enthrall,
In this dance of creation, where all paths converge,
We find our true selves, on the verge.

We are Space Monkey.

Question Your Beliefs

At some point in your life
you will question your beliefs.

You will look at each belief
that you hold
and ask yourself
“why do I believe this?”

You may even wish
that you didn’t believe
what you believe.

But the belief won’t go away so easily.

What you believe
may be completely different
from what you perceive
that others believe.

Don’t be so hard on yourself.

Acknowledge that your perceptions
have no way of knowing
what others truly believe.

Even if they say so.
Even if it is written.

You are not living
within someone else’s mind.

You have no idea
what goes on in there.

Likewise,
nobody but you knows you.

Perhaps you believe
that not even you understand you.

This is because you hold beliefs
that are your own.

This is because you hold beliefs
that you’ve adopted.

This is because you hold beliefs
that are completely WRONG for you.

Try not to judge these beliefs.

Recognize that
what seems wrong to you
may not seem wrong to another
who is NOT you.

Understand that
ALL of us live
within our own realities
governed by our own beliefs.

There is not one shared reality
(as you seem to believe)
but rather pools of beliefs
that seem to form
a consensus reality.

This does not mean
that you have to go along with it.

You are not obligated
to live according to the beliefs of another.

The above is a belief that you hold,
and so you form your belief system
out of the beliefs of others,
rather than your OWN beliefs.

And so your reality seems
to be like everyone else’s.

But it’s not.

You are what you believe.
You just happen to believe
what you’ve been told.

Even if you dislike the belief.

And thusly your beliefs
become your reality.

So how do you move away
from beliefs that no longer serve you?

Use your imagination.

Make up your own beliefs.

You will see, over time,
that even make-pretend beliefs
become real.

In fact, your life right now is
COMPLETELY made up
of make believe.

It always has been. It always will be.

You simply don’t believe it,
because you’ve been told
that make believe is not reality.

You can get no further from the truth.
Except if you believe it as truth.

Believe that this is ALL imagination
and you change EVERYTHING.

Learn to control your imagination
and you shall control your reality.

The meek shall inherit the earth.
And infinitely more.

Believe not in what you believe,
but that you CAN believe.

Hold loosely to the reins of reality
and you shall be free of its reign.

We are Space Monkey and we will help you.

We are nothing but your imagination

More about opposites

Here is more regarding opposites and how they function within your absolute and relative, your yin and yang, your space and monkey.

As we have stated previously, opposites are not singular in nature, but rather “not-this-but-that” points imagined and arranged in a spectrum. Think in terms of rainbows. Actuality is one spectrum, in which we perceive separate colors.

Like the colors of a rainbow, your measures and divisions exist ONLY in perception. That is as “real” as they get.

When you understand, as you do, that opposites do not exist independently, but are RELATIVE in nature, it is logical to assume that when you summon one end of the spectrum, you also summon the perceived opposite end of the spectrum, for opposites are in fact ONE.

This is why expectations are less desirable than intentions if your wish is to move towards the absolute.

Expectations draw you towards (and draw towards you) both what you want, and the OPPOSITE of what you want, while intentions serve only to bring you to zero-point resolution.

Notice that we use the term “zero-point resolution” rather than your standard new-age “greatest and highest good.” The reason is that “greatest and highest good” is not an absolute request.

Notice that “greatest,” “highest” and “good” are ALL relatives. For concepts like these to be realized from your human perspective, you must also summon their opposites.

One cannot discern good without bad. One cannot discern highest without lowest. In the absolute, all concepts are singular concepts, not opposites as they appear in the relative realm. And all singular concepts are ONE concept.

Make no bones about it, your awareness is here so that you may have a human experience. From a human perspective, sometimes the best that can happen is the worst that can happen.

So be careful with your greatest and highest goods, unless unforeseen circumstances are what you’re after — which may very well be the case.

If you feel this is NOT the case, set your intention towards point zero and you move towards the absolute. You will understand your relative reality so much more from this perspective, and if you continue from there, you’ll not only relatively understand, but absolutely KNOW.
