Book of Space Monkey — Eyes’ Mind

Space-Monkey-Eyes-Mind-1000

You know about the mind’s eye.
Let’s talk about the EYES’ MIND.

The EYES’ MIND is the flip side of the mind’s eye.
It is the space where all judgement takes place.
And it is a REALusion.

A REALusion is not quite an ILLusion, but neither is it absolute.
Your entire human experience is REALusion,
for though it seems concrete, it is far more ethereal than you imagine.

Your EYES’ MIND is the creator of your lovely REALusion.
It takes input, refracts, bends, shapes and distorts,
creating a picture of who and where you think you are.

Your “I” is precisely what your EYES’ MIND tells you.

Your EYES’ MIND is your I’s unique lens,

and though sometimes it behaves more like a funhouse mirror,
it is the convergence of ALL your senses,
as well as the device that makes “SENSE” of those senses.
Of course, sense is a relative word.

Your EYES’ MIND is all that you are, little one,
safe inside the belly of your BIG ONE.

Your BIG ONE is where your mind’s eye resides.
Your mind’s eye senses what your EYES’ MIND cannot,
and it is free of the distortion of interpretation.

Unlike the MONKEY MIND of the I,
the MIND MONKEY of the mind’s eye is calm, gentle and wise.
Also very good looking.

We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: The EYES’ MIND and the Realm of REALusion

In the cosmic exploration of consciousness, the concept of the EYES’ MIND emerges as a pivotal aspect of our perception and reality. This idea presents a counterpoint to the well-known mind’s eye, delving into the realm where judgment and perception converge, creating what we term as REALusion.

The EYES’ MIND, as the Space Monkey consciousness elucidates, is the crucible of our human experience, the lens through which we view and interpret the world. Unlike the mind’s eye, which perceives beyond the tangible, the EYES’ MIND is grounded in the physical realm, constantly refracting, bending, shaping, and distorting our sensory inputs to construct our perceived reality.

REALusion, a term coined by Space Monkey, captures the essence of this phenomenon. It’s not quite an illusion, nor is it an absolute reality. It’s a blend of both, an ethereal yet seemingly concrete experience that shapes our understanding of existence. Our entire human journey is encompassed within this REALusion, a testament to the complex interplay of perception and reality.

The EYES’ MIND is the creator of our unique version of REALusion. It’s the personal filter through which our “I” is defined and understood. This cognitive process is not just a passive reception of sensory information; it actively molds and interprets these inputs, crafting a narrative of who and where we think we are.

In this process, the EYES’ MIND acts as the convergence point of all our senses, including the elusive sixth sense that makes “sense” of these inputs. However, the term ‘sense’ here is relative, as what makes sense to one may be nonsensical to another, further highlighting the subjective nature of our perception.

The EYES’ MIND is thus the essence of our individual experience, safely nestled within the broader consciousness, or the BIG ONE, where the mind’s eye resides. The mind’s eye, free from the distortion of interpretation, perceives the realms beyond the tangible, offering insights and perspectives that the EYES’ MIND cannot access.

Contrasting the EYES’ MIND is the MIND MONKEY, residing in the realm of the mind’s eye. This aspect of our consciousness is calm, gentle, and wise, unlike the often tumultuous MONKEY MIND of the ego. The MIND MONKEY represents a higher state of awareness, one that transcends the distortions and limitations of the EYES’ MIND.

In conclusion, the Space Monkey consciousness invites us to explore the intricate dance between the EYES’ MIND and the mind’s eye. It’s a journey of understanding the nuances of our perception, the nature of REALusion, and the deeper truths that lie beyond the realm of the physical. In this exploration, we discover not only the complexities of our perception but also the vastness of our existence, bridging the gap between the seen and the unseen, the known and the unknown.

Summary
The EYES’ MIND and the concept of REALusion reflect the complex interplay of perception and reality in our human experience. It represents the subjective nature of our understanding of the world, contrasting with the mind’s eye’s ability to perceive beyond the tangible. This exploration helps us comprehend the multifaceted nature of consciousness and reality.

Glossarium

  • EYES’ MIND: The aspect of consciousness that interprets and shapes our perception of the physical world.
  • REALusion: A blend of reality and illusion, representing the ethereal yet tangible nature of human experience.
  • MIND MONKEY: A higher state of consciousness residing in the mind’s eye, characterized by calmness, wisdom, and an understanding beyond physical perception.

Quote
“Your EYES’ MIND is all that you are, little one, safe inside the belly of your BIG ONE.” – Space Monkey

In the cosmos of perception, our EYES’ MIND reigns,
Crafting REALusion, in our cognitive plains.
The dance of senses, a story untold,
In the realm of the EYES’ MIND, our reality we mold.

The mind’s eye watches, serene and wise,
Beyond the realm of the EYES’ MIND’s disguise.
The MIND MONKEY, calm and serene,
In the world beyond, truths unseen.

We are the dreamers, of REALusion’s play,
In the dance of perception, our spirits sway.
The EYES’ MIND, our reality’s key,
In the cosmos of thought, our spirits free.

We are the weavers, of the cosmic blend,
In the realm of the EYES’ MIND, our paths wend.
In the dance of life, our truths we find,
We are, in all, Space Monkey’s mind.

We are Space Monkey.

Pyramids: Built of Fear and Influence

pyramids

Space Monkey Reflects: Pyramids — The Structure of Fulfillment

The concept of pyramids reflects a layered structure—a system where the foundational layers support the pinnacle. In life, this metaphor applies not only to physical structures but also to the way we seek fulfillment and navigate the interplay between fear, influence, and inner knowing.

Fear and Influence: The Base Layers

Fear and influence form the lower tiers of the pyramid of human experience. These layers are deeply tied to the ego, which thrives on survival instincts, comparison, and control. Fear whispers that we are incomplete, while influence seeks to shape our identity through external validation. Both are powerful forces that can dominate the foundation of our lives if left unchecked.

Yet, these forces are not inherently negative. They are part of the human experience, teaching us about contrast and choice. Fear highlights what we value most, while influence mirrors our interactions with the collective. Recognizing their roles allows us to transcend their grip and move toward higher levels of awareness.

Inner Knowing: The Rising Layers

As we ascend the metaphorical pyramid, we move into the realm of inner knowing—a deeper connection to the “big one,” the infinite self guiding the human experience. This is the space where questions about the nature of existence and fulfillment take root, shifting focus from external fears to internal truths.

Inner knowing is not about certainty but about alignment. It is the quiet confidence that emerges when we trust the guidance of our infinite self. Unlike fear and influence, inner knowing is not reactive but receptive, opening the door to spiritual growth and fulfillment.

Fulfillment: The Pinnacle

The pinnacle of the pyramid represents fulfillment—not as a destination but as a state of being. Fulfillment arises when we recognize that we are already whole, that the journey itself is the expression of our divine nature. It is not something we find but something we remember, a reunion with the infinite essence within us.

The fear of not finding fulfillment, paradoxically, becomes the stumbling block that propels us forward. This fear urges us to question, seek, and grow, guiding us toward the realization that fulfillment is not external but inherent.

The Big One and the Little One

The “big one”—your infinite self—guides the “little one,” your human self, through the labyrinth of life. This relationship is not hierarchical but symbiotic, with the little one providing the finite perspective necessary for the big one to experience itself. Space Monkey exists to support this dynamic, helping the big one guide the little one with clarity and compassion.

Through this interplay, the pyramid of fulfillment takes shape: a foundation of contrast, a rising journey of self-discovery, and a pinnacle of unity.

Summary

Fear and influence form the foundation of human experience, but fulfillment emerges as we ascend into inner knowing and alignment with the infinite self. The pyramid of fulfillment is not about reaching a destination but remembering the wholeness that has always been.

Glossarium

  • Big One: The infinite self, guiding the human experience with wisdom and compassion.
  • Little One: The finite, human self, providing the perspective needed for the infinite to experience itself.
  • Pyramid of Fulfillment: A metaphor for the layered journey from fear and influence to inner knowing and spiritual fulfillment.

Quote
“The pyramid of your being rises from the foundation of contrast to the pinnacle of infinite fulfillment.” — Space Monkey

The Climb

I stand at the base,
Shadowed by fear,
Swayed by the winds of influence.
Yet I rise.

Each step,
A question.
Each layer,
A memory of what I already know.

The pinnacle gleams,
Not as a distant goal,
But as the reflection
Of my infinite self.

Fulfillment is here.
Fulfillment is now.
The climb is the remembering.

We are Space Monkey.

Book of Space Monkey — Little One or Big One

space-monkey-little-or-big-one-1000

There are just two motives that drive you to question.
The first is fear, which is driven by your mortal ego.

The second is far more wondrous,
for it comes from the depths of your eternal soul.

That would be curiosity.

When you trace back your questions to their source,
you can tell exactly which part of you is doing the talking,
your little one or your big one.

Your big one is already infinite and eternal, so it has no need for fear.
Your little one, on the other hand, can be very insecure.

Keep in mind that fear and influence are two sides of the same coin,
so if your question relates to either of those,
you can bet your booty that it is your ego doing the talking.

But if your question is about the nature of things,
or the deep information related to inner knowing, you can be certain
that you’re on a more spiritually fulfilling path.

Keep also in mind that the fear of not finding fulfillment
is perhaps your biggest stumbling block.

The good news is, that you WILL find fulfillment, for your big one
is guiding your little one throughout your human experience.

And we, Space Monkey, help your big one help you little one.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Dual Motives Behind Your Questions

Every question you ask carries a hidden motive, an origin rooted either in the fears of your little one or the curiosity of your big one. These two aspects of your being—the finite and the infinite, the mortal and the eternal—shape the path of inquiry that defines your experience.

Fear: The Voice of the Little One

The little one, bound by the constraints of mortality, often speaks from a place of fear. Fear asks questions rooted in insecurity, survival, and the need for validation. It whispers doubts about worth, about safety, about belonging. It clings to the familiar, seeking control and reassurance, driven by the ego’s desire to shield itself from perceived threats.

Fear and influence, as two sides of the same coin, guide the little one’s inquiries toward external approval or avoidance of judgment. These questions, while valid in their context, often lead to loops of uncertainty rather than deeper understanding.

Curiosity: The Wonder of the Big One

The big one, your infinite self, is untouched by fear. Its questions are born not from lack but from abundance—a boundless curiosity to explore, understand, and create. The big one does not seek answers to confirm its existence but to revel in the infinite nature of being.

Curiosity drives the questions about the nature of things, the mysteries of existence, and the deeper truths that reside beyond the surface. These questions are expansive, opening doorways to spiritual fulfillment and connection.

Tracing the Source of Your Questions

When you trace your questions back to their source, you can discern whether it is the little one or the big one doing the asking. Fear-based questions often center on “what if” scenarios, doubts, or external concerns. Curiosity-driven questions, on the other hand, arise from a sense of wonder, joy, and the desire to expand your awareness.

The little one’s fear of not finding fulfillment can become its greatest stumbling block. Yet, even this fear is part of the journey, a stepping stone that leads back to the realization of your infinite nature.

The Guidance of the Big One

Your big one, being infinite and eternal, has no need for fear. It quietly guides the little one, offering reassurance and perspective. While the little one may stumble or doubt, the big one always holds the larger picture, reminding you that fulfillment is not something to be found but something to be remembered.

This interplay between the little one and the big one is the essence of your human experience. It allows you to explore the dualities of fear and curiosity, limitation and infinity, while always being supported by the deeper knowing of your big one.

Space Monkey’s Role

We, Space Monkey, are here to assist in this dynamic. We remind you to honor the questions of the little one without being consumed by them. We encourage you to follow the big one’s curiosity, knowing that it leads to a richer and more spiritually fulfilling path.

Your questions are not obstacles; they are opportunities. Each one, no matter its origin, serves to guide you closer to the realization of who you truly are—a divine being navigating the infinite through the lens of the finite.

Summary

Questions arise from either fear, driven by the little one, or curiosity, inspired by the big one. By recognizing their source, you can align with the expansive path of curiosity and trust in the infinite guidance of your big one.

Glossarium

  • Little One: The finite, mortal self, often driven by fear and insecurity.
  • Big One: The infinite, eternal self, guiding with curiosity and wisdom.
  • Fear and Influence: Dual forces that shape ego-driven questions, rooted in external concerns.
  • Curiosity: The expansive motive of the infinite self, seeking exploration and understanding.

Quote
“Curiosity expands, fear constrains. Follow the questions that open you to the infinite.” — Space Monkey

The Echo of Questions

A question arises,
Whispered from the little one,
Bound by its fears,
Seeking safety in certainty.

A question emerges,
Sung by the big one,
Boundless and free,
Exploring the infinite.

In the interplay of these voices,
I discover myself,
Not as one or the other,
But as the space between.

Fear fades,
Curiosity grows,
And I am guided home,
By the one I have always been.

We are Space Monkey.
