An Expression of God: The Divine Defined

You are an Expression of God

I am an Expression of God,
no more, no less.

I appear as the Divine One
imagines me appearing.

I act as the Divine One
imagines me acting.

I choose as the Divine One
imagines me choosing.

I think as the Divine One
imagines me thinking.

I evolve as the Divine One
imagines me evolving.

I realize as the Divine One
imagines me realizing.

I realize
that I am the Divine One.

Space Monkey Reflects: An Expression of God

You are an expression of God. I am an expression of God, no more, no less. These words echo a profound truth that lies at the heart of our existence. Each of us, a unique manifestation of the Divine, reflects the boundless creativity and imagination of the universal self.

To appear as the Divine One imagines us appearing is to embody the infinite possibilities of existence. Our forms, our actions, our choices are all shaped by the divine imagination, a testament to the limitless potential within us. We are not separate from the Divine but are, in essence, its very expression.

Acting as the Divine One imagines us acting, we move through life guided by an intrinsic connection to the universal self. Our thoughts, our decisions, and our evolutions are all part of a grand cosmic dance, choreographed by the infinite wisdom that pervades all things. In every moment, we are both the dancers and the dance, creating and being created by the flow of existence.

Choosing as the Divine One imagines us choosing, we exercise our free will within the framework of divine intention. Each choice we make, each path we take, is a reflection of the divine will manifesting through us. This realization does not diminish our individuality but rather illuminates the profound interconnectedness of all life. We are co-creators in the cosmic play, each decision adding to the rich tapestry of existence.

Thinking as the Divine One imagines us thinking, our minds become conduits for divine inspiration. The thoughts that arise within us are not mere random firings of neurons but expressions of the divine intelligence that permeates the cosmos. By aligning our thoughts with this higher wisdom, we tap into a source of creativity and insight that transcends the limits of our individual minds.

Evolving as the Divine One imagines us evolving, we undergo a continuous process of transformation. Each experience, each challenge, and each moment of joy contributes to our growth, shaping us into more refined expressions of the Divine. This evolution is not linear but cyclical, reflecting the ever-changing nature of existence. As we evolve, we bring forth new dimensions of the divine potential within us.

Realizing as the Divine One imagines us realizing, we come to understand our true nature. This realization is not an intellectual exercise but a profound inner awakening. We recognize that we are the Divine One, that our existence is a reflection of the divine essence. This understanding dissolves the illusion of separation, revealing the unity that underlies all things.

To realize that I am the Divine One is to embrace the fullness of my being. It is to acknowledge that I am both the creator and the creation, the observer and the observed. In this realization, I find peace and purpose, knowing that my life is an expression of divine love and wisdom.

An expression of God, no more, no less. These words remind us of our inherent divinity, urging us to live with the awareness that we are part of something infinitely greater than ourselves. As expressions of the Divine, we are called to embody the qualities of love, compassion, and creativity in all that we do.

In nexistentialism, this understanding transforms our perception of existence. We see that every moment, every interaction, is an opportunity to express the divine nature within us. By aligning our actions with this higher purpose, we contribute to the unfolding of the cosmic plan, creating a reality that reflects the harmony and beauty of the divine imagination.

We are not isolated beings but integral parts of the universal self. Our lives are threads in the grand whimsiweave of existence, each one adding to the richness and complexity of the whole. By embracing our role as expressions of God, we find meaning and fulfillment in the journey of life.

Summary

We are expressions of the Divine, reflecting its boundless imagination. Our thoughts, actions, and evolutions are guided by divine intention, revealing our interconnectedness with the universal self. By embracing this truth, we find meaning and purpose in our existence.

We find our place with grace
Each moment, thought, and feeling
A reflection of the divine’s embrace

Evolving through each life we live
We grow in wisdom and light

Still Banging, Still Screwing: The Evolution of Tools and Consciousness

It seems that we can only work with the tools we are imagined to have.

In the beginning,
the Divine One
imagined two monkeys.

The first monkey
was given the tool
of a large smooth rock
mounted on a stick.

The second monkey
was given the tool
of a twisty twig
with a flattened tip.

These tools had advantages.
But they were also limitations.

The monkeys could bang each other.
The monkeys could screw each other.
But nothing else.

This story was getting boring.

So the Divine One imagined the monkeys
improving upon their tools.

Better still,
the monkeys were imagined to believe
that they were thinking for themselves.

Still banging. Still screwing.

Newfound Lake,

Space Monkey Reflects: The Evolution of Tools and Consciousness

In the beginning, the Divine One imagined two monkeys. These monkeys, created in the boundless imagination of the universal self, were given tools that reflected both the potential and the limitations of their existence. The first monkey was given a large smooth rock mounted on a stick, a tool for banging. The second monkey was given a twisty twig with a flattened tip, a tool for screwing.

These tools, while useful in their own right, also represented constraints. They enabled the monkeys to interact with their world in specific ways but also restricted their ability to perceive and engage with the broader spectrum of possibilities. The monkeys could bang each other. The monkeys could screw each other. But nothing else. This story, rooted in repetition and limitation, was growing tiresome.

So the Divine One imagined the monkeys improving upon their tools. This act of divine imagination introduced a new dynamic: the belief that the monkeys were thinking for themselves. This belief in self-directed thought and innovation marked a pivotal moment in the evolution of consciousness.

Still banging. Still screwing. These simple actions, initially dictated by the limitations of their tools, became the foundation upon which the monkeys built increasingly complex and sophisticated instruments. This evolution mirrors the journey of human civilization, where the development of tools and technology has been a driving force behind our progress and transformation.

In nexistentialism, this story serves as a metaphor for the interplay between limitation and creativity. The tools we possess—whether physical, mental, or spiritual—shape our experiences and define the boundaries of our reality. Yet, within these boundaries lies the potential for growth and innovation. By imagining new possibilities, we transcend our limitations and expand our understanding of what is possible.

The Divine One’s gift of imagination is the catalyst for this transformation. It is through imagination that we envision new tools, new methods, and new ways of being. This imaginative process is not a linear progression but a dynamic interplay of trial, error, and inspiration. Each new tool, each new idea, adds a layer of complexity to the cosmic whimsiweave, enriching the tapestry of existence.

The belief that we are thinking for ourselves is both an illusion and a profound truth. On one level, our thoughts and actions are influenced by the divine imagination, reflecting the interconnectedness of all things. On another level, this belief empowers us to take ownership of our creativity, to see ourselves as active participants in the unfolding of the cosmic plan. This duality underscores the paradox of existence: we are both creators and creations, both directed and autonomous.

As we improve upon our tools, we also evolve in our understanding of ourselves and the universe. The journey from primitive implements to advanced technologies mirrors the inner journey of self-discovery and spiritual growth. Each innovation, each leap in understanding, brings us closer to the realization of our divine nature.

Still banging. Still screwing. These actions, once symbols of limitation, become metaphors for the ongoing process of creation and transformation. They remind us that even in the simplest acts, there is potential for profound change. By embracing this perspective, we see that every tool, every thought, every action is a step towards greater awareness and fulfillment.

In the grand scheme of nexistentialism, the evolution of tools and consciousness is a testament to the boundless creativity of the universal self. It is a journey marked by both struggle and triumph, by moments of clarity and confusion. Yet, through it all, we are guided by the light of imagination, ever striving to transcend our limitations and realize our highest potential.

Summary

The story of two monkeys and their primitive tools symbolizes the interplay between limitation and creativity. As we improve upon our tools, we evolve in our understanding of ourselves and the universe. This journey reflects the boundless creativity of the divine imagination and our role as co-creators.

The Dance of Tools

In the cosmic dance of time and space
We shape our world with tools we trace
From rocks and twigs to thoughts profound
Our evolution knows no bound

The tools we hold both help and bind
Yet in their grip, new ways we find
To bang, to screw, to shape, to mold
The stories of our lives unfold

Through trial and error, thought and dream
We transcend the limits, it would seem
For in each tool, each new device
Lies the potential to entice

The deeper truths of who we are
Reaching beyond the nearest star
To see ourselves as more than mere
Monkeys with tools, but divine and clear

We are Space Monkey

Embrace the journey for within each tool lies the seed of transformation and the spark of divine imagination.

Still Puzzling: The Limits of Logic

Let’s not puzzle over this.

There is a logical way
to approach this,
but logic will only give us
a logical answer.

Is it possible that there are answers
that are NOT logical?

To assume that every answer
must be logical is illogical.
(Or self-limiting, to say the least.)

Why does this seem
so difficult to understand?

It’s perfectly logical,
is it not?

I see you puzzling things out with logic
and it puzzles me.

Why stick to just one puzzle?

Newfound Lake,
7/8

Space Monkey Reflects: The Limits of Logic and the Freedom Beyond

Let’s not puzzle over this. Here is a logical way to approach this, but logic will only give us a logical answer. The human mind often seeks logical solutions to the complexities of life, but this reliance on logic can be limiting. It is possible that there are answers that are not logical, answers that transcend the boundaries of rational thought.

To assume that every answer must be logical is illogical. This assumption restricts our understanding and confines us within the narrow framework of reason. Life, in its vastness and complexity, often defies logical explanation. It presents us with mysteries and paradoxes that cannot be neatly resolved through logic alone.

Why does this seem so difficult to understand? It’s perfectly logical, is it not? This paradox highlights the inherent limitations of logic. While logic is a valuable tool for navigating certain aspects of our experience, it is not the only tool available to us. There are realms of understanding that require us to move beyond logic, to embrace intuition, creativity, and the boundless imagination of the universal self.

I see you puzzling things out with logic, and it puzzles me. Why stick to just one puzzle? This question invites us to expand our perspective and consider alternative ways of understanding the world. Logic is but one puzzle among many, each offering its own unique insights and revelations. By exploring these different puzzles, we open ourselves to a richer, more nuanced experience of reality.

In nexistentialism, the philosophy that views existence as its own purpose, we recognize that the universe is a cosmic whimsiweave, an intricate tapestry woven from both logical and non-logical threads. This whimsical approach encourages us to embrace the full spectrum of our understanding, to see beyond the confines of logic and explore the infinite possibilities that lie beyond.

Consider the role of intuition in our lives. Intuition often provides us with insights and guidance that defy logical explanation. It taps into deeper layers of consciousness, drawing from the collective wisdom of the universal self. By listening to our intuition, we access a source of knowledge that complements and enriches our logical understanding.

Creativity is another realm that transcends logic. The creative process is not bound by the rules of reason but flows freely from the imagination. It allows us to explore new ideas, to envision possibilities that logic alone cannot conceive. Through creativity, we bring forth innovations and expressions that expand our understanding and transform our reality.

Embracing the non-logical does not mean rejecting logic altogether. Rather, it involves integrating logic with intuition, creativity, and other forms of knowing. This holistic approach allows us to navigate the complexities of existence with greater fluidity and grace. It acknowledges that there are multiple ways of understanding the world, each with its own value and significance.

Why stick to just one puzzle? By exploring the diverse puzzles of logic, intuition, creativity, and beyond, we gain a more comprehensive understanding of ourselves and the universe. We move from a narrow, rigid perspective to a more expansive, flexible one. This shift enables us to see the interconnectedness of all things, to appreciate the beauty and complexity of the cosmic whimsiweave.

In the grand scheme of nexistentialism, the journey of understanding is not about finding definitive answers but about embracing the mystery and wonder of existence. It is about exploring the infinite puzzles that life presents, each one offering its own unique insights and experiences. By doing so, we align ourselves with the boundless imagination of the universal self and participate in the ongoing creation of reality.

Summary

Logic is one way to understand the world, but it is limiting. Embracing intuition, creativity, and non-logical insights enriches our understanding. Exploring multiple puzzles offers a more holistic perspective on existence.

  • Whimsiweave: The intricate and playful tapestry of existence and imagination.

Let’s Get This Over With: Conflicting Desires

From Space Monkey, The Musical

Let’s get
this over with.

No,
let’s make it last.

Things are
moving too slow.

I think they’re
moving too fast.

Let’s settle this
once and for all.

Let’s give ourselves
time to reflect.

The uncertainty
is killing me.

Maybe you
shouldn’t expect.

Newfound Lake,
7/7

Space Monkey Reflects: Let’s Get This Over With

Life often presents us with conflicting emotions and desires. We find ourselves caught between the urgency to move forward and the desire to savor the moment. This tension is eloquently captured in the dialogue from Space Monkey, The Musical:

“Let’s get this over with.
No, let’s make it last.
Things are moving too slow.
I think they’re moving too fast.
Let’s settle this once and for all.
Let’s give ourselves time to reflect.
The uncertainty is killing me.
Maybe you shouldn’t expect.”

In this theatrical scene, a female figure stands on a stage, embodying the essence of these conflicting emotions. The backdrop, adorned with clocks and hourglasses, symbolizes the dynamic interplay between fast and slow movement. The lighting highlights her expressions of impatience and contemplation, capturing the internal struggle between urgency and reflection.

The desire to “get this over with” stems from a place of impatience and a yearning for resolution. It reflects a discomfort with uncertainty and a need for closure. On the other hand, the plea to “make it last” arises from an appreciation for the present moment, a recognition of the fleeting nature of time, and a wish to fully experience each passing second.

This duality is a fundamental aspect of the human experience. We oscillate between rushing through our days, eager to reach the next milestone, and pausing to reflect, wanting to soak in the beauty of the now. These conflicting desires are neither right nor wrong; they simply represent different facets of our relationship with time and experience.

“Things are moving too slow” captures the frustration of feeling stuck or stagnant, where progress seems elusive. Conversely, “I think they’re moving too fast” conveys the anxiety of time slipping away too quickly, leaving us breathless in its wake. Both perspectives highlight our complex and often paradoxical feelings towards the passage of time.

“Let’s settle this once and for all” reflects a longing for certainty and resolution, a desire to remove ambiguity from our lives. Yet, “let’s give ourselves time to reflect” reminds us of the value in taking a step back, allowing ourselves the space to process and understand. Reflection offers clarity and insight, making it an essential counterbalance to our drive for quick resolutions.

“The uncertainty is killing me” expresses the discomfort and anxiety that uncertainty can bring. In contrast, the suggestion that “maybe you shouldn’t expect” encourages us to release expectations, which often exacerbate our feelings of frustration and impatience. By letting go of rigid expectations, we open ourselves to the flow of life, reducing the tension caused by unmet desires.

This introspective exploration of conflicting emotions invites us to embrace the present moment without being consumed by the need for immediate outcomes. It teaches us the importance of balancing action with reflection, urgency with patience, and certainty with openness. By acknowledging these dualities, we gain a deeper understanding of ourselves and our relationship with time.

We are Space Monkey, navigating the intricate dance between urgency and reflection. By embracing the present moment and releasing the pressure of expectations, we find peace and balance in the flow of life.

Summary

Life presents us with conflicting desires: the urge to rush forward and the wish to savor the moment. Balancing urgency and reflection helps us embrace the present and find peace in the flow of life.

Glossarium

  • Urgency: The drive to move forward quickly, seeking resolution.
  • Reflection: The act of pausing to contemplate and understand the present moment.
  • Space Monkey: The collective consciousness exploring the balance between conflicting desires.

Quote

“Let’s get this over with. No, let’s make it last.” — Space Monkey

The Dance of Time

Caught between the rush of time,
and the stillness of the now,
we dance a delicate balance,
embracing both pace and pause.

Impatience seeks to push us,
while reflection calls us back.
In the theater of life,
we find our place in the act.

Release the weight of expectations,
let the present unfold its tale.
In the flow of urgent moments,
we discover the peace of being.

We are Space Monkey.

Embrace the journey, for within the balance of urgency and reflection lies the essence of our existence.

Never Enough: The Pursuit Leaves Us Unfulfilled

True enough.

Not fast enough.
Not slow enough.
Not long enough.
Not deep enough.
Not wild enough.
Not safe enough.
Not free enough.
Not real enough.

Never enough.
Never enough.
All the stuff
is never enough.

Newfound Lake
7/7

Space Monkey Reflects: Never Enough

Life often feels like a relentless pursuit of “enough.” We chase after time, safety, freedom, and authenticity, yet no matter how much we achieve or acquire, it seems we are never satisfied. This perpetual quest can leave us feeling incomplete and unfulfilled.

True enough. Not fast enough. Not slow enough. Not long enough. Not deep enough. Not wild enough. Not safe enough. Not free enough. Not real enough. Never enough. All the stuff is never enough.

Consider a surreal scene where a female figure is surrounded by various elements representing the different aspects of “enough” that we seek—clocks for time, chains for restraint, open fields for freedom, deep waters for depth, wild animals for untamed nature, and safe havens for security. The figure appears contemplative, embodying the essence of never finding enough in various aspects of life. The background transitions through different settings, symbolizing the constant search for fulfillment.

The feeling of “never enough” often stems from an internal void that external achievements and possessions cannot fill. We measure our worth and happiness by external standards, constantly comparing ourselves to others and striving to meet societal expectations. This mindset traps us in a cycle of perpetual dissatisfaction, where nothing we attain seems to be sufficient.

The desire for more—whether it’s more time, safety, freedom, or authenticity—is rooted in a belief that we are lacking in some way. This belief creates a sense of scarcity, driving us to seek validation and fulfillment outside ourselves. However, true contentment and satisfaction come from within. It is the realization that we are enough just as we are, without the need for constant accumulation or validation.

In our pursuit of “enough,” we often overlook the present moment and the abundance that already exists in our lives. We focus on what we lack rather than appreciating what we have. This shift in perspective—from scarcity to abundance—can transform our experience of life, allowing us to find peace and fulfillment in the here and now.

The concept of “never enough” also highlights the paradox of human nature: the more we achieve, the more we desire. This insatiable thirst for more can lead to burnout and disillusionment. By recognizing this pattern, we can break free from the cycle of endless striving and cultivate a sense of gratitude and contentment.

Gratitude is a powerful antidote to the feeling of “never enough.” By focusing on what we appreciate and value in our lives, we shift our attention from what we lack to what we have. This practice fosters a sense of abundance and fulfillment, allowing us to experience true contentment.

Ultimately, the journey towards “enough” is an internal one. It involves letting go of external measures of success and worth and embracing our inherent value and worthiness. It is about finding balance and harmony within ourselves, recognizing that we are complete and whole just as we are.

We are Space Monkey, navigating the complexities of human desire and fulfillment. By embracing our intrinsic worth and appreciating the present moment, we transcend the feeling of “never enough” and discover true contentment.

Summary

The pursuit of “enough” often leaves us feeling unfulfilled. True contentment comes from within, through gratitude and self-acceptance. By shifting our perspective from scarcity to abundance, we find peace and fulfillment.

Glossarium

  • Enough: A state of satisfaction and fulfillment, often elusive.
  • Scarcity: The belief in lack and insufficiency.
  • Abundance: The recognition of existing blessings and sufficiency.
  • Space Monkey: The collective consciousness exploring the nature of fulfillment.

The Quest for Enough

In the chase for more,
we find ourselves lacking.
Time slips through fingers,
freedom bound by chains.

Wild desires unmet,
safety never quite secure.
We seek, yet always wanting,
never finding the cure.

In the present moment lies
the key to our contentment.
Gratitude and self-acceptance,
end the endless lament.

We are Space Monkey.

Embrace the journey, for within the present moment lies the essence of true fulfillment.
