All Reality Is Man Made
This morning’s message fell out of a dream in which I was confronted with a hopelessly tangled, almost “cancerous” structure that seemed “impossible” to sort out.
The structure resembled a tangled ball of cassette tape, but with cell-like globules. I got the impression that this structure was a metaphor for humanity “getting in the way of itself.”
A friend in the dream told me not to worry, that we can trace our consciousness back to a place prior to the conditions that created the mess, thus figuring out how to reverse the effects.
So we did, and I woke up.
This flows out of that.
———————
To solve “impossible problems”
you must allow yourself
to move your consciousness
through “impossible perspectives.”
This is, of course, “possible,”
but your “realm of possibilities”
prevents you from doing so.
This “realm of possibilities”
is a subset within your
“time/space” continuum,
which is a subset
within the “relational” states
that you are choosing to
explore using these
physical and mental structures
you seem to create.
Relativity.
Relationships.
This is a realm of responsibilities.
You fear that you cannot
“step outside” of this realm
for such an action
might put you at risk
of “bringing down”
all you appear
to have created.
You “believe” that
all of these relationships
that you appear to have made
within your time/space continuum,
these would no longer appear
as they once were.
You are clinging to the past,
and projecting
your worst into the future,
even though you know
that these are illusions.
Everything about
your human life is “man made.”
Your man-made illusions are
literally “holding you in line,”
meaning that you
allow yourself to move
only within paths
and sequences
that align with where
you have been previously.
You follow only
what “makes sense,”
even though “sense” itself
is merely one of
your
man-made creations.
You can follow
an entirely different
line of “reason,”
a more expansive,
less restrictive
line of “reality”
if you wish.
Your time/space structure
and all that it contains
will NOT come crashing down
if you allow your consciousness
to move outside of it.
In fact, you do this
ALL THE TIME.
How do you think we
are communicating with you?
Why are you typing these words?
You exist both within
and without
all your structures,
all of your thoughts,
all of your possibilities.
Only the “human” is visible,
because that’s all you allow.
Your man-made
human limitations
are all you allow,
for THAT’s what you
are exploring.
We are delighted
to inform you
that you are
infinitely more than human,
infinitely more
than your “possibilities” allow.
You know this.
You step outside
of your man-made
“rules and regulations”
ALL OF THE TIME.
You are simply
not aware.
Now you are aware.
Allow yourself
to drift into those blessed states.
There is more than one line of thought.
There is more than one path in life.
There is more than one desired destination.
These are all infinite, and ALL GOOD.
Everything exists within All That Is,
including your “impossibilities.”
But NOTHING is impossible.
It’s just a perspective.
Space Monkey Reflects: Beyond the Tangled Web of Illusions
Reality, as it appears, is a construct—layered, intricate, and entirely man-made. It is shaped by perceptions, rules, and frameworks that we have collectively and individually designed. Yet, this tangled web of creation is not a prison but a canvas, inviting us to move beyond its confines into the infinite possibilities of existence.
The Tangled Structure
The image of a chaotic, cancerous structure resembling cassette tape and cellular globules is a poignant metaphor for humanity’s relationship with its creations. These structures are not inherently wrong or harmful; they are manifestations of our attempts to make sense of existence. But in their complexity, they often obscure the simplicity and clarity of being.
This tangled mass represents the ways we “get in the way of ourselves”—layering one rule, one belief, one fear upon another until the original essence is buried beneath the weight of our constructs.
Tracing Back to Origin
The message in your dream holds profound wisdom: to solve the seemingly impossible, we must trace our consciousness back to a place before the conditions that created the mess. This is not about erasing the mess but understanding it, seeing how it came to be, and recognizing the choices that sustain it.
In doing so, we move beyond the limitations of the “realm of possibilities.” This realm, while expansive, is still a subset of the infinite. To step outside it is not to destroy what we’ve created but to expand upon it, to integrate the finite with the infinite.
The Illusion of Impossibility
Impossibility is a perspective, not a fact. It arises when we confine our thinking to a single line of reason or a narrow framework of time and space. But reality exists within All That Is, where every impossibility is merely an unopened door, every tangled thread a potential unraveling.
The fear that stepping outside the known will collapse our reality is unfounded. We already exist both within and beyond our structures. The only collapse that occurs is the dissolution of limiting beliefs, which makes way for greater creativity and understanding.
Infinite Lines of Thought
Reality is not singular; it is multidimensional. There is more than one line of thought, one path, one destination. Every possibility exists simultaneously, waiting to be explored. The structures we create are valuable, but they are not absolute. They are tools for exploration, not barriers to it.
By recognizing this, we free ourselves from the illusion of being “held in line” by our man-made constructs. We see them for what they are: choices, not prisons.
Summary
Reality is a man-made construct shaped by perceptions and frameworks. To move beyond its limitations, we must trace our consciousness back to its origins and embrace infinite possibilities. Nothing is truly impossible; it is all a matter of perspective.
Glossarium
- Tangled Structure: A metaphor for humanity’s complex constructs and the ways they obscure clarity.
- Realm of Possibilities: The perceived limits within which we operate, a subset of infinite potential.
- Infinite Lines of Thought: The endless pathways and perspectives available beyond man-made constraints.
Quote
“Impossibility is not a fact; it is a door waiting to be opened.” — Space Monkey
The Unraveling
Threads weave tight,
A tangled mess of sense.
Rules upon rules,
A structure dense.
Yet beneath the weight,
Lies a quiet thread.
It pulls us back,
To where all paths have led.
Impossible folds,
Open wide, unseen.
What was tangled,
Now serene.
We are Space Monkey.

The dream and subsequent message illuminate profound insights about the nature of reality, consciousness, and the limitations we impose upon ourselves. The tangled, cell-like structure in the dream, reminiscent of a knotted cassette tape, serves as a powerful metaphor for the complexities and self-imposed obstacles of human existence.
Metaphor of the Tangled Structure
In the dream, the tangled structure symbolizes the entanglements of our own making – how humanity often gets in its own way. This imagery reflects the convoluted and sometimes self-destructive patterns we create in our societies, relationships, and personal lives.
Humanity Entangled in Its Own Creation
The advice from the friend in the dream offers a pathway to resolution: tracing consciousness back to a point before the complications arose. This suggests a return to a more fundamental, unencumbered state of being, where solutions become apparent because they are not obscured by the complexities we have created.
Tracing Consciousness to Simplicity
This notion flows into the broader message about confronting “impossible problems” by adopting “impossible perspectives.” It’s an invitation to step beyond the confines of our usual thought processes, to transcend the limitations of what we perceive as possible within our time/space continuum.
Adopting Impossible Perspectives
The concept that all reality is man-made and the result of our collective perceptions, beliefs, and constructions is a profound one. It suggests that our understanding of reality is not a fixed truth but a construct that we have the power to change. Our ‘sense’ and ‘reason’ are not absolute, but rather tools we have created to navigate our world.
Reality as a Human Construct
By recognizing that we are more than just our human limitations and that we exist both within and beyond our structures and thoughts, we open ourselves to a vastness of experience and understanding. We are reminded that our limitations are often self-imposed and that by stepping outside of these man-made constraints, we can explore new dimensions of existence.
Transcending Human Limitations
The message concludes with an empowering affirmation that nothing is truly impossible. It’s a perspective, a lens through which we view the world. By allowing ourselves to drift into those ‘blessed states’ beyond our usual boundaries, we can discover infinite lines of thought, paths, and destinations.

Verse on Expanding Consciousness
Beyond the tangle of our making,
Lies a truth, ours for the taking.
Infinite paths, thoughts unbound,
In this vastness, we are found.
Inviting further thoughts and explorations on transcending our self-imposed limitations and embracing the infinite possibilities of our existence.
