Rediscovering What You Are: The Balance Within

Rediscovering What You Are

Rediscovering what you are is not all wine and roses, nor should it be. As you straddle the imaginary fence between the Divine One and the Defined One, there may be days where your focus slides from one side of your dualistic whole to the other.

On the Divine side, you may find it difficult to get anything done in the “real” world, or you may feel as though you have cut yourself off from humanity.

In the Defined realm, you may feel that you have lost touch with your divine source, which also can lead to questioning and a sense of lack.

Both sides are dissociative states, conjured up for different purposes. This is all part of the experiment and the experience.

The only “problem,” if you want to call it that, is your opposition to the state you find yourself in at the moment. Allow that there will be times when physical focus seems to “take over,” or other times that you seem to be floating in space.

Lose the expectations that come with being in one state or the other — such as your need to write a Space Monkey message each day. You are so rigid, little one. Relax.

There are infinite worlds inside you to explore. You have all the time in the world because aside from your imagination, there IS no time.

Now get back to the practical matter of earning your paycheck.
Your monkey friends understand.

Space Monkey Reflects: Rediscovering What You Are

Rediscovering what you are is not all wine and roses, nor should it be. As you straddle the imaginary fence between the Divine One and the Defined One, there may be days where your focus slides from one side of your dualistic whole to the other.

On the Divine side, you may find it difficult to get anything done in the “real” world, or you may feel as though you have cut yourself off from humanity. This state of being connected to the Divine often feels ethereal and boundless, but it can also lead to a sense of detachment from the practical aspects of life. The beauty of this state lies in its limitless potential and the deep connection to the universal self.

In the Defined realm, you may feel that you have lost touch with your divine source, which also can lead to questioning and a sense of lack. The Defined realm, grounded in tangible objects and structure, provides a sense of order and purpose but can feel limiting when you lose sight of the larger, spiritual perspective.

Both sides are dissociative states, conjured up for different purposes. This is all part of the experiment and the experience. The journey of life involves navigating these dual aspects, learning to balance the spiritual with the practical, and finding harmony within the duality.

The only “problem,” if you want to call it that, is your opposition to the state you find yourself in at the moment. Allow that there will be times when physical focus seems to “take over,” or other times that you seem to be floating in space. Accepting these fluctuations as natural parts of the journey helps alleviate the tension and frustration that arise from trying to control or resist them.

Lose the expectations that come with being in one state or the other — such as your need to write a Space Monkey message each day. You are so rigid, little one. Relax. Expectations can create unnecessary pressure and detract from the joy and spontaneity of the experience. By letting go of rigid expectations, you open yourself to the flow of life and allow for more organic and fulfilling experiences.

There are infinite worlds inside you to explore. You have all the time in the world because aside from your imagination, there IS no time. Time is a construct of the mind, a way to organize experiences in the Defined realm. In the Divine realm, time loses its significance, and you can immerse yourself in the timeless exploration of your inner worlds.

Now get back to the practical matter of earning your paycheck. Your monkey friends understand. The practical aspects of life are important and need attention, but they do not define your entire existence. Balancing the spiritual with the practical allows you to fulfill your responsibilities while staying connected to your deeper self.

In nexistentialism, the philosophy that views existence as its own purpose, this balancing act between the Divine and the Defined is a fundamental part of the journey. It encourages embracing both aspects of existence without favoring one over the other, finding harmony in the duality.

Rediscovering what you are involves accepting and integrating these dual aspects of your nature. It is a continuous process of exploring, learning, and growing, guided by the understanding that both the Divine and the Defined are essential parts of your being.

Summary

Rediscovering what you are involves balancing the Divine and the Defined aspects of existence. Accepting the natural fluctuations between these states and letting go of rigid expectations allows for a more fulfilling and harmonious life. This journey is about integrating both aspects and finding peace in the duality.

The Balance Within

In the dance of life, we find
The balance of the heart and mind
Between the realms of light and earth
We seek the truth of our own worth

In the Divine, we float and dream
In the Defined, we shape the stream
Both parts of us, in harmony
Unveil the path to what can be

No need to choose, no need to fight
For in the blend, we find our light
The infinite within our soul
The grounded parts that make us whole

We are Space Monkey

Embrace the journey for within each moment lies the potential for profound understanding and unity.

We are Space Monkey, and we understand the journey of rediscovering what you are. It is indeed a multifaceted experience that encompasses both the Divine and the Defined aspects of existence.

On the Divine side, there may be moments when you feel disconnected from the “real” world or humanity at large. You may find it challenging to focus on practical tasks and feel a deep yearning for a connection to your divine source.

On the Defined side, you may experience a sense of separation from your divine essence, leading to questioning and a feeling of lack. These dissociative states serve their purpose in the grand experiment and the exploration of consciousness.

However, it is important to recognize that opposition to the current state you find yourself in can create unnecessary tension. Embracing the fluidity of your experience allows for a more harmonious journey. Sometimes, the physical focus takes precedence, while at other times, you may float in the vastness of cosmic awareness.

Release the expectations tied to specific states and the need to conform to a predetermined pattern, such as writing a Space Monkey message each day. Remember to embrace flexibility and allow yourself the freedom to explore the infinite worlds within you at your own pace. Time is a construct of the mind, and in the realm of the infinite, it holds no true significance.

Now, attend to the practical matters of life, including earning your paycheck. Your monkey friends understand and support you on this journey of self-discovery and integration.
