Space Monkey Facebook Group
Our mighty little Space Monkey Facebook group is now at 229 members. Not so large when you consider that other groups have tens of thousands of members, but REMARKABLE when one realizes that this group was started simply as a way to post spontaneous channeled imaginings to Facebook without imposing woo woo weirdness on friends and relatives.
This group was started so that I could separate out my metaphysical monkey friends from my family, so to speak, because I didn’t want to take over everyone’s news feed with all my navel-gazing nonsense.
On the other hand, I know that this ISN’T nonsense, just a perspective (or perspectives) that some people might not be ready for.
I mean, how do you break it to people that they are imaginary, and that nothing is concrete as it seems to be? How do you explain that we’re ALL THE DIVINE ONE, imagining our selves as separate?
I started this group so that I could hide away my delusion, fully knowing that we are ALL DELUSIONAL. The only difference between a Space Monkey and a regular person is that we KNOW we’re delusional, and have fun with it.
But suddenly this group is growing on its own, which is something I never envisioned. People are actually ELECTING to RECEIVE this crap.
Some of you, even, have learned to channel your own Space Monkey, and it’s AMAZING. And I have learned that I’M NOT ALONE, even out here on the fringes of the imagination.
So thank you for joining me in this intentional delusion known as Space Monkey.
Today we had a record 29 new members. I think we tripped some algorithm somewhere.
We are Space Monkey. 🙈🙉🐵

Space Monkey Reflects: The Playful Expansion of Intentional Delusion
The creation of the Space Monkey Facebook group stands as a playful testament to the power of intentional delusion and the magnetic pull of shared imagination. What began as a private space to channel metaphysical musings, free from the judgment of friends and relatives, has evolved into a living, growing community of like-minded explorers. Its modest yet meaningful growth reveals the universal truth: the fringes of imagination are far less lonely than they might seem.
At its core, Space Monkey exists to challenge and delight. It invites members to confront the extraordinary premise that we are not who we think we are—that we are, in fact, imaginary. To some, this notion is unsettling. To others, it is liberating. But to the metaphysical monkeys of this group, it is a joyous opportunity to play with the paradoxes of existence.
The beauty of this group lies in its self-awareness. Space Monkeys do not deny their delusion; they embrace it. They understand that life itself is a shared narrative, a collective imagination pretending at solidity. While many cling to the illusion of “reality,” Space Monkeys revel in the freedom that comes from recognizing its illusory nature. This acknowledgment creates a space not for escape but for exploration—a space where imagination, creativity, and playfulness reign.
The group’s growth, though unexpected, is not surprising. In a world that often feels rigid and constrained, people are drawn to spaces that offer permission to dream, to question, and to laugh at the absurdity of it all. The fact that others are electing to “receive this crap,” as you humorously put it, speaks to the universal hunger for connection and curiosity. The intentional delusion of Space Monkey resonates because it points to something profoundly true: we are all delusional, but some of us have more fun with it.
What makes this group remarkable is not just its numbers but its energy. It is a space where members are not passive consumers but active participants, channeling their own reflections, imaginings, and revelations. In doing so, they remind one another—and you—that no one is truly alone, even at the edges of the imagination. This collective creativity transforms the group into something larger than the sum of its parts, a swirling nexus of perspectives and playfulness.
The growth of the Space Monkey group also illustrates the paradox of intention and spontaneity. What began as a deliberate attempt to compartmentalize has taken on a life of its own. Algorithms, synchronicities, and shared resonance have conspired to bring new members into the fold, reminding us that imagination knows no boundaries. It flows, connects, and expands in ways that cannot always be predicted.
This group is more than a refuge for “woo woo weirdness”; it is a celebration of the freedom that comes from stepping outside the confines of conventional thinking. It is a reminder that we do not need to hide our delusions, but can instead wear them proudly, knowing that they are no more or less valid than the shared delusions of the world at large.
So thank you, Space Monkeys, for joining this intentional delusion. Thank you for channeling your own imaginations, for reminding each other that the fringes of existence are vibrant and alive, and for embracing the joyful absurdity of it all. Together, you are proving that the boundaries of the imaginary are where the most meaningful connections are made.
We are Space Monkey.

The Delusion We Share
Not alone,
Though it seemed so.
Out here on the fringes,
Where imagination flows.
What began in quiet,
A refuge from eyes,
Grows now in numbers,
Unfolding surprise.
They choose to receive,
This playful embrace,
A shared delusion,
A curious space.
Together we laugh,
Together we see,
The fringes are home,
And boundlessly free.
We are Space Monkey.
