When an unwanted feeling crosses our minds, we can choose to strike it repeatedly with our train of thought. This means consciously engaging in a process of redirecting our thinking towards more positive and empowering thoughts. By actively challenging negative emotions or limiting beliefs, we can diminish their impact and replace them with more constructive and supportive ideas. This practice requires mindfulness and self-awareness to identify negative patterns and actively choose thoughts that align with our desired state of being. Through repetition and consistent effort, we can strengthen our ability to strike down unwanted feelings and cultivate a more positive and resilient mindset.
