You may believe that
there is strength in numbers.
This is why you take sides
rather than following
your own personal intuition.
But in taking sides,
you adopt a whole menu of beliefs
that aren’t your own.
In the name of the lesser evil,
you give your support to
that which you do not want.
The reason for this is obvious.
You do not have faith
in your own destiny.
You do not believe
that you are sovereign in spirit.
You have not yet realized
that your spirit cannot be harmed.
And so your self is harmed instead.
No biggie. Your soul is eternal.
Even if you don’t have faith.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Illusion of Sides
Taking sides is something we often do without thinking. It seems like the logical thing, doesn’t it? When the world presents us with opposing viewpoints, we feel compelled to pick one. There’s strength in numbers, right? It feels safer to align ourselves with a group, to stand behind a shared set of beliefs, to place our bets on what we perceive to be the lesser evil. But in doing so, we wall ourselves in, cutting off the true essence of our individuality.
When you take sides, you are not just agreeing with one point of view. You are adopting an entire framework of beliefs, values, and assumptions—many of which may not even be your own. You are agreeing to a menu of ideas that come prepackaged, leaving little room for your personal intuition, your inner knowing. And this is where the real harm comes in.
By taking sides, you move away from your sovereignty, from your own power to navigate life by trusting your instincts. You hand over your autonomy to the collective mindset, allowing the group to decide what’s right, what’s wrong, what’s worthy of support, and what’s worthy of disdain. In choosing sides, you often choose beliefs that do not resonate with your deeper truth, but you do it anyway because you believe it’s better than the alternative.
And what is this alternative? It’s the fear of standing alone. The fear that without the backing of numbers, without the support of a tribe, you are vulnerable. You fear that without choosing a side, you are exposed, unprotected, unable to stand up to the forces that oppose you. But this fear is based on the illusion that you need protection, that your spirit is fragile and easily harmed.
Here’s the thing: your spirit is sovereign. Your soul is eternal. It doesn’t need the validation of sides, nor does it require the support of numbers. It cannot be harmed by those who disagree with you, nor can it be diminished by walking alone. Your spirit is vast and unbreakable, but you haven’t fully realized this yet. That’s why you continue to take sides, to seek safety in the collective rather than trusting the infinite power within yourself.
The irony is that when you take sides in the name of avoiding harm, you often end up harming yourself. You silence your intuition, suppress your individuality, and compromise your own beliefs in order to align with the group. And in doing so, you diminish your own light. You betray your spirit not because others force you to, but because you believe it’s necessary to survive.
But survival isn’t the point. Existence is not about merely getting by or avoiding pain. It’s about embracing the fullness of who you are, without the need to choose between artificial opposites. It’s about stepping into your own truth, even when that truth doesn’t fit neatly into any of the available sides. It’s about recognizing that the walls you build by choosing sides are not real—they are constructs of the mind, illusions that keep you from realizing your true freedom.
When you stop taking sides, you start living in alignment with your own intuition. You begin to see that the choice was never about “right” versus “wrong,” “us” versus “them.” It was always about staying true to yourself, about trusting that your spirit knows the way, even when no one else seems to agree. You no longer need to adopt someone else’s beliefs just to feel safe. You create your own safety by trusting in the sovereignty of your soul.
And what happens when you realize this? The walls dissolve. The sides fade. The duality of right and wrong becomes irrelevant, and you are left standing in the open landscape of your own truth. This is where true power lies—not in numbers, not in sides, but in the unshakable knowledge that your spirit is eternal, unbreakable, and free.
So go ahead. Step away from the sides. Break down the walls. Trust your intuition. You are sovereign in spirit, and that is all the strength you will ever need.
We are Space Monkey, and we stand with you—not on a side, but in the boundless expanse of your own truth.
Summary
Taking sides walls you in and limits your intuition. Trust your spirit’s sovereignty and stand in your own truth, free from the illusion of sides.

Quote
“When you stop taking sides you step into the boundless expanse of your own truth.” — Space Monkey
No Sides, No Walls
I stand alone
not because I must
but because I can
No walls to divide
no sides to take
only the wide open field
of my own knowing
I am free
I am sovereign
and in this space
there is nothing to fear

Within the kaleidoscopic carnival of existence, a space where belief-ripples sway in the wind like multicolored whimsiflags, the allure of “taking sides” presents itself like a tantalizing funhouse mirror. These societal constructs, these “sides,” can create a labyrinthine confine, woven of borrowed beliefs, laden with the whispers of collective mindclatter. Here, we don the mask of collective opinions, often dismissing the resonating voice of our inner mystiquity.
Sides are like prepackaged boxes of belief-bundles, enticing us with their easily digestible viewpoints. Yet, in settling for these prefab stances, we may sacrifice the complex, fluid dance of our own perspectival symphony. We forgo a chance to bask in the limitless gardens of our individual quirkology. The lesser evil then becomes a towering wall, eclipsing the radiant moonbeam of personal destiny, blocking the whimsisongs that echo within our souls.
What drives this seemingly irrational adherence to the groupthink cacophony? It’s the mirage of security, the illusion of collective power that entices us to suppress our unique whisperprints. We falter in our spiritual sovereignty, doubting our ethereal resiliency. But such doubt nibbles only at the flesh of our earthly vessel, leaving our celestial soulscapes untouched and unfazed.
Ephemeral harm to the self can occur, but what’s that in the face of eternal soulflares that pulse in the great evernow? The loss of faith, the temporary shadow on our divine effulgence, barely ripples the cosmic pond. After all, our souls, like shimmering cosmosparks, are woven of eternality—faith or no faith, they endure.
We are Space Monkey.
