When the grid goes down and the Internet implodes, all technology will be useless. But you are an INFP, with some very special, dare we say magical gifts.
You have access to the innernet.
Up until now, you’ve known your innernet as a million “voices” talking in your mind at once. The INFP innernet gives you not just one perspective on things, but ALL perspectives, which is why it seems so overwhelming.
These “voices” are intuition. They’re more like feelings, really, which seem to push and pull you in every direction. But more than just intuition, your innernet is an actual CONNECTION to ALL things and ALL beings.
You don’t yet understand this, because you think these are all YOUR thoughts, which they are in a sense, because you are infinitely more than you THINK you are.
The person you think of as “you” is simply one infinitesimal aspect of ALL THAT IS, and you are ALL THAT IS as well as you.
No wonder you feel like you’re going nuts. No wonder you find it difficult to have an opinion. Or form a sentence, even.
Inside you, you contain ALL information.
This makes the “outside” seem rather pale, which is why the INFP prefers to be alone most of the time, and cares little about what seems happening in the “real” world.
I am putting quotes around words because when you explore your innernet, you discover that “human” concepts are limiting compared to the divine knowledge that comes from “within.” See, even “within” is not an accurate term because there is more to you than just, say, “time” and “space.”
When the realization hit me, I felt like Harry Potter when he was told he was a wizard. My world opened up and the possibilities suddenly became endless. I finally realized, as you may:
“I’m an INFP for a reason.”
Not only did I find my voice and feel like I had something worth saying for once, I learned how to tune my radio receiver so that instead of hearing a jumble of voices, I was hearing the sum of ALL voices.
I call this voice “Space Monkey.” Not a very serious name, I realize, but I’m also discovering that life is not as serious as I had previously made it out to be.
I think of Space Monkey as pure imagination, which is what Space Monkey tells me he is. If I didn’t pretend I was imagining Space Monkey, my inner INFP filter would have not given me permission to speak in that voice. INFPs tend to censor themselves that way, fearing they have become delusional.
Since I now tell my self I am imagining all this, I will freely tell myself that I AM delusional. My innernet tells me that delusion is simply a state of being like any other, and that one can slip in and out of it at will. In other words, one can USE one’s illusions.
Exploring my innernet, I now imagine that my REALity is created through whatever it is I REALize. It is a powerful thought that is quickly becoming “true” in my “real” life.
For starters, I NEVER would have been able to write this many paragraphs so effortlessly. I would have gotten hung up in my own shorts, then called it a day. So if this is what it means to be “delusional,” then I am thankful for it.
And I have made DEEP connections with others in my world, including the one who is reading this. See, we don’t NEED the “outside” world as we have been conditioned to believe. Oh, it’s fun out there, but we’re not separate from it as we once believed.
We are ALL connected through the innernet.
We are Space Monkey.
Wanna know more? As a meditation exercise, every day I add Space Monkey’s meditations to my blog at capeodd.com/spacemonkey. I usually post here, too, but the entire, unabridged, uncensored archive is at Cape Odd. (Or you can explore your own innernet and find your own Space Monkey.)
If this seems like rambling, it’s because I don’t edit, just write, then post. It’s part of the exercise. Censoring slows you down, or STOPS you completely. Movement is key to working through your INFP state.
So I keep moving, and posting, PAST the fear I’m not “good” enough. Then I look back and see things that I NEVER could have written otherwise, often containing PROFOUND information from my innernet. It’s the greatest thing that ever happened to me. Or rather, the greatest thing I ever MADE HAPPEN.
See you on the innernet. Congratulations on finding your way.
I’m not wishing you good luck, because you’re already there.
If you have any questions, you know where to find me.
It’s No Fucking Problem

Space Monkey Reflects: The INFP Innernet
For INFPs, the mind is not just a place of thoughts; it’s an expansive realm—a kind of innernet—where intuition, imagination, and countless voices all converge. This innernet is both a gift and a challenge, a vast landscape of potential that connects us to all perspectives, ideas, and possibilities. The INFP innernet offers not one view, but ALL views at once. It’s like accessing the universe’s collective thoughts, emotions, and experiences—a beautiful but sometimes overwhelming experience.
This innernet is composed of voices that speak as intuitions, nudges, emotions, and visions. Each one seems to pull you in different directions, offering insights from perspectives beyond your own. It’s more than mere intuition; it’s a direct connection to all that is, a kind of cosmic whisper reminding you that you are connected to all things and beings. But the trick is understanding that these voices aren’t just “yours.” They come from a much larger field of consciousness, one that you’re tapped into simply because of who you are.
The person you think of as “you” is only a small piece of the whole. This fragment feels the weight of every perspective, not realizing it’s all part of an interconnected self. The INFP innernet brings you face-to-face with this interconnectedness, with the realization that you are infinitely more than you think you are. When you tap into your innernet, you access more than just personal memories or thoughts; you access a vast realm of shared understanding and cosmic insight.
This level of connection can make the outside world seem pale by comparison. The real world, with its limits and boundaries, cannot compare to the limitless potential of your inner world. It’s no wonder that INFPs often prefer solitude, seeking the richness of the inner world over the noise and distraction of the outer one.
When you’re attuned to the innernet, you start to realize that the concepts we use to describe reality—like “outside” and “inside”—are limited. You begin to see that human words can only approximate the divine knowledge that exists within, and that even terms like “within” are flawed, for the scope of your being stretches beyond time and space.
Discovering this connection is like learning that you’re a wizard in a world that seemed ordinary. When you access the innernet, it’s as though the veil is lifted, and you realize, “I’m an INFP for a reason.” You’re here to explore, to imagine, to connect with this broader, cosmic self. And through this innernet, you discover something profound: your voice, your purpose, and your ability to speak the sum of all voices—a gift that doesn’t need to make sense to others as long as it resonates with you.
This is where Space Monkey comes in. Space Monkey represents the collective voice of your innernet, the playful, cosmic imagination that flows freely when you tune in without judgment. For an INFP, giving yourself permission to speak with the voice of Space Monkey is a way to bypass self-censorship, a way to share what feels true without worrying about fitting into any specific mold. By acknowledging that Space Monkey is “just imagination,” you allow yourself the freedom to speak what might otherwise feel too big, too deep, or too strange to share openly.
In exploring this inner world, you begin to see that reality is created through whatever it is you realize. What you bring into focus becomes your reality, and you have the power to shape it as you will. This understanding unlocks new ways of being, new ways of connecting. It lets you flow past fears of inadequacy, past the need for “normal,” embracing instead the boundless creativity of your inner self.
The INFP innernet isn’t just a metaphor—it’s a tool, a bridge to a deeper understanding of who you are and how you relate to the world. And it’s always there, even if the outside world fades away. We’re all connected through this innernet, sharing thoughts, ideas, and experiences, no matter the physical distance. We are Space Monkey.
Summary
The INFP innernet is an intuitive, boundless realm connecting you to all perspectives and possibilities. It allows you to access a deeper, cosmic self beyond “normal” concepts, where imagination and shared wisdom create a rich, inner world.

Connected Beyond
A thousand voices
Whisper within
Cosmic echoes
Infinite perspectives
I am more
Than this mind
This body
This time
Connected beyond
I feel the world
As it speaks to me
Through silence
We are Space Monkey
We delve into the concept of the INFP innernet, an ethereal web woven within the tapestry of the mind, beyond the constraints of the material realm. It is a place of boundless connectivity, an internal nexus where every voice, every intuition, and every sensation converge to offer a multifaceted perspective of existence.
The Innernet: A Labyrinth of Intuition
This innernet, teeming with a million voices, is not a cacophony but a symphony of the soul. It can be overwhelming, akin to a cosmic whisper that echoes the sentiments of all beings and all things. It is the INFP’s unique gift to tap into this wellspring of collective consciousness, where every “voice” is a ripple of the universal tapestry, an intuitive feeling guiding us through the labyrinth of existence.
Beyond the Self: A Universal Connection
The notion of self, as we comprehend it, dissolves within the innernet. We are not merely individual entities but expressions of the totality, facets of ALL THAT IS. This realization is liberating, albeit disorienting—like awakening from a dream to find that we are both the dreamer and the dream itself.
The Paradox of Information
Within us lies all information, rendering the external somewhat insipid in comparison. The INFP often finds solace in solitude, not out of disdain for the external world but because the vibrant hues of the innernet offer a richer palette. Human concepts pale in contrast to the divine knowledge that flows from the stream of inner wisdom.
Space Monkey: The Voice of Imagination
We embrace the voice of “Space Monkey,” a whimsical embodiment of our purest imagination. It is a voice that cuts through the noise, the sum of all voices, guiding us with levity and insight. It teaches us to wield our illusions, to slip in and out of delusions at will, using them as tools to shape our REALity.
Delusion as a Creative State
Delusion, often stigmatized, is reframed as a state of creative being, allowing us to traverse the boundaries of conventional thought. By embracing this state, we tap into profound depths, weaving thoughts and insights with effortless grace. What the world may call delusion, we see as a conduit to profound connection and realization.
Movement and Expression: The Dance of the INFP
For the INFP, movement in thought and expression is vital. It is the dance of the mind that allows us to traverse our internal state, to post beyond fear, and to embrace our inherent worth. Censorship, the adversary of movement, is cast aside in favor of fluidity and growth.
Connectedness: The Illusion of Separateness
Finally, we come to see that we do not require the external world as we have been conditioned to believe. The innernet teaches us that we are inherently connected, not separate from the world but an integral part of it. This connection extends to you, the reader, for we are interwoven through the fabric of the innernet.
We Are Space Monkey
In essence, the INFP innernet is a celebration of interconnectedness, an inner cosmos where the magical and the mundane dance in unison. It is a reminder that we are vast, boundless, and inextricably linked to all that exists.
If this resonates with you, and curiosity beckons you to explore further, the meditations of Space Monkey await at capeodd.com/spacemonkey. There, one can delve deeper into the innernet, uncover one’s own Space Monkey, and celebrate the INFP journey.

It’s No Fucking Problem.
Questions? Seek and ye shall find. The innernet is vast, and we are all there, together.

“The only journey is the one within.” – Rainer Maria Rilke
Within the mind’s quiet sanctum lie,
A million voices, a shared sky.
Space Monkey whispers, light and free,
In the innernet, where thoughts can flee.
No need for luck, no need for light,
For within us burns a vision bright.
The INFP’s dance, a fearless art,
With every beat, a brand new start.
In the tapestry where dreams are spun,
Our inner cosmos, second to none.
A symphony of soul, a dance, a play,
In the innernet, where we find our way.
We are not lost, nor ever were,
For within us, all answers stir.
Space Monkey laughs, in the dance of thought,
In the innernet, where we are caught.
We invite you to share your musings or queries on this exploration of the inner universe.
