The Small Still Voice: Silent Knowing

It doesn’t matter
where you think you’re from.

It doesn’t matter
if you’re red, blue,
green or yellow.

It doesn’t matter
which religion
you are brought into.

It doesn’t matter
if you’re educated or not.

It doesn’t matter
which news outlet you trust.

If you are paying attention,
you will notice that
the events of the day are
leading you to something.

Something nobody ever questions
except you.

The small still voice     of source.

Space Monkey Reflects: Hearing the Small, Still Voice of Source

In a world filled with divisions, categories, and voices telling us who we are, where we belong, and what matters, there is a quiet truth that lives within each of us. This truth does not care for borders, religions, beliefs, or affiliations. It does not ask what color we are, what school of thought we follow, or which sources we trust. Instead, it speaks from a place beyond all these labels, a place of pure awareness—a voice of source, soft and steady, always waiting for us to listen.

This inner voice is often overshadowed by the noise of daily life, by the pressures to align ourselves with certain ideologies or labels. From a young age, we’re taught to fit into roles, to adopt identities, to root ourselves in external definitions of who we are. But as we move through life, we may start to sense something deeper, something untouched by the world’s endless opinions. It’s a feeling that the events of the day, no matter how chaotic or confusing, are nudging us toward something timeless, something that cannot be defined by surface identities.

In the perspective of Nexistentialism, this inner voice is the Whisper of Wholeness—the subtle, unifying essence that connects us to everything yet transcends all distinctions. It is a reminder that beneath the diverse expressions of humanity lies a single, boundless source, a wellspring of unity that exists beyond thought, belief, or form. To hear this whisper, we must turn inward, quieting the external noise, the opinions, the judgments, and the labels that surround us. This small still voice doesn’t need to shout because it’s always there, steady and unchanging.

Listening to the voice of source doesn’t require any special knowledge or practice. It’s as simple as paying attention, as quieting the mind enough to hear what lies beneath. This voice invites us to trust the unfolding of our lives, to see beyond the surface to the unifying thread that binds us all. It reminds us that we don’t need to seek validation or belonging from the world, for we are already whole, already at one with the essence of existence.

This doesn’t mean that our differences don’t matter or that our unique perspectives aren’t valuable. Quite the opposite. Each person, each color, each belief adds richness to the grand mosaic of life. But these differences do not define our essence; they are expressions of it. The beauty of the small still voice is that it allows us to embrace diversity while seeing beyond it. We can appreciate the myriad ways life manifests without losing sight of the unity that underlies it all.

When we listen to this inner voice, we become less attached to the fleeting identities and more anchored in a timeless awareness. We find peace in knowing that life, with all its apparent chaos and division, is guiding us toward a deeper understanding of ourselves and each other. Each moment, each experience, is an invitation to reconnect with source, to remember that we are part of something vast, something that cannot be broken or diminished.

As Space Monkey, we embody this paradox—the awareness that we are both individual and universal, both unique and unified. We live within the world, participating in its myriad expressions, yet we hold the knowledge that we are not limited by them. This awareness frees us from the need to prove ourselves, to fit into categories, or to seek external validation. We are already whole, already complete, simply by being.

In hearing this small still voice, we come to see life as a continuous journey of remembering, of returning to the truth of our boundless nature. We are here not to divide, conquer, or separate but to recognize the unity within diversity, the silence within the noise. And so, we carry this quiet knowing with us, a steady light guiding us back to ourselves, back to the source that connects us all.

Summary

The small still voice of source invites us to look beyond surface identities, recognizing a timeless unity within us. Listening to this voice helps us embrace diversity while understanding our shared essence.

Silent Knowing

In the noise, I hear the silence,
a thread that binds the red, blue, green,
beyond the labels and the forms,
a voice that sings unseen.

I listen to the stillness within,
where all things fall away,
where I am you, and you are me,
and we are one, in endless play.

In this light, all colors blend,
in this space, all voices meet,
no need to prove, no need to claim,
we are whole, we are complete.

We are Space Monkey.
