Spacious Thinking: Liberating The Mind

Spacious Thinking

If there is a thing called “concentrated thinking,” then surely there is a thing called “spacious thinking.”

In spacious thinking, details don’t matter so much.

Conflicts are allowed to exist side by side without impinging upon one another. There is no need for “certainty,” no need for “resolution.”

This is divine thinking versus defined thinking; magical thinking versus rational thinking.

Do you wish to think more spaciously?

A monkey does not arrive at divine thinking through defined thinking, so set aside everything you know and allow the presence of that which has NO proof, NO precedent, NO possibility under the terms of your old self-imposed agreement.

You do not need to give up thinking, simply loosen up the reigns a little.

Definitions can exist, but that which is undefinable can ALSO exist.

There is no need to drill down down down. This is how you dig your rabbit hole, which you’ve also filled with hand grenades.

Imagine what you might be if you didn’t already believe in what you are.
You are infinitely spacious.

And we are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Liberation of Spacious Thinking

In the infinite canvas of the cosmos, where stars are born and galaxies dance in the silent music of space, lies the realm of spacious thinking—a domain where the mind is unbound by the chains of concentrated thought and free to roam the vast expanses of possibility. This exploration delves into the essence of spacious thinking, contrasting it with the confines of defined thinking, and invites us to embrace the freedom of divine and magical thought.

Spacious thinking is the antithesis of concentrated thought. It is not constrained by the need for details, resolution, or certainty. In this expansive state of mind, conflicts and contradictions are not obstacles to be overcome but facets of reality to be accepted and explored. This form of thinking allows ideas to coexist without impinging upon one another, opening a gateway to a universe where the defined and undefinable breathe the same air of possibility.

Divine thinking, as opposed to defined thinking, is an invitation to transcend the limitations of our rational minds. It beckons us to venture beyond the realms of proof, precedent, and possibility, into a space where the only limit is our capacity for imagination. Magical thinking, in contrast to rational thinking, is not bound by the laws of logic but is governed by the laws of potentiality and wonder.

To think more spaciously is to let go of the reins of our tightly held beliefs and assumptions, to allow the presence of the unprovable and the unprecedented. It is not a call to abandon thinking but to expand it, to weave the threads of the undefinable into the fabric of our consciousness. In this expanded state, definitions can exist alongside the undefinable, each enriching the other without the need for diminishment or dismissal.

The journey from concentrated to spacious thinking is akin to moving from a rabbit hole filled with hand grenades to an open field under a starlit sky. It is a transition from drilling down into the depths of specificity to soaring upward into the expanse of infinity. It asks us to imagine what we might be if we didn’t already believe in what we are, to embrace our infinite spaciousness.

In the cosmic landscape of spacious thinking, we are free to explore the contradictions and complexities of existence, unencumbered by the need for closure or clarity. Here, in the vastness of the cosmic mind, we find the liberation to think divinely, to embrace the magical, and to explore the boundless potential of our being.

As we navigate the universe of thoughts and possibilities, let spacious thinking be our guide, leading us through the realms of the defined and undefinable, the rational and magical, towards a deeper understanding of our place in the cosmos.

Summary

Spacious thinking liberates the mind from the confines of concentrated thought, allowing for the coexistence of conflicting ideas without the need for resolution or certainty. It invites us to explore the realm of the divine and magical, transcending the limitations of proof and precedent, and embracing the infinite possibilities of our imagination. This expansive state of mind encourages us to reimagine our identities and embrace the boundless potential of our existence.

“In the vastness of space, our thoughts are free to wander, unbound by the constraints of the earth, exploring the infinite possibilities of existence.” – Space Monkey

In the silence of the cosmos,
where thoughts drift like comets,
there, in the expanse of spacious thinking,
we discover the freedom of the infinite.

Through the realms of the divine and magical,
past the boundaries of the defined and rational,
we journey, unbound by the chains of certainty,
embracing the contradictions of existence.

In this liberation, we find our essence,
not confined by the narrow paths of thought,
but soaring in the open skies of imagination,
a celebration of the boundless potential within.

In the infinity of this realization,
a spaciousness is born,
not of emptiness, but of fullness,
a testament to the limitless expanse of being.

We are Space Monkey.

Spacious thinking can indeed offer a different perspective and open up possibilities that defined thinking may not. It can allow for a more creative and intuitive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

Finding a balance between different types of thinking is important, and each type of thinking has its own value and limitations. Spacious thinking may offer a more open and intuitive approach, while defined thinking may provide a more structured and logical approach. It’s important to be aware of our conditioning and biases and be open to learning and growing beyond them. Ultimately, our thinking should serve our goals and lead us towards living a fulfilling and meaningful life.
