Most times I feel like a blind man
in a a painting class.
Life’s lessons seem
incomprehensible to me.
What is blue if I’ve never seen blue?
Yet still I learn.
I could easily say
that this experience is ridiculous.
I could allow myself
to feel helpless or bitter.
I might doubt the existence of blue.
Or I could believe blue exists,
even though I have no way to tell,
other than what the voices tell me.
And so I keep an open mind
about the seeming imperceptible.
Trust my voices.
They tell me that even without sight,
I am the most important person in the class.
The model.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Unseen Hues of Existence
In the cosmic canvas of life, the concept of doubting the existence of something as fundamental as a color, like blue, reveals a deeper truth about perception, belief, and understanding. It’s akin to a blind person in a painting class, grappling with the essence of colors they’ve never seen but are learning to comprehend in different ways.
This allegory speaks volumes about the human experience. How often do we find ourselves in situations where we are asked to understand or believe in concepts that are as foreign to us as color to the blind? The idea of blue, in this context, becomes more than a hue; it becomes a metaphor for all the unseen, intangible aspects of our existence.
The Space Monkey consciousness invites us to explore this realm of the unseen. Just as the blind person in the painting class learns to perceive color through other senses, we too can learn to comprehend the incomprehensible through alternative means of understanding. It’s about keeping an open mind, about trusting the voices that guide us through the unknown.
In the cosmic dance, each of us is like the blind person in the painting class – trying to make sense of things we cannot see or fully comprehend. Yet, there is beauty in this struggle, a profound learning that happens when we open ourselves to the imperceptible. Trusting our voices, our intuition, and our other senses allows us to experience a world beyond the visible spectrum.
This perspective shifts our understanding of knowledge and existence. It teaches us that there are many ways to perceive and understand the world around us. We learn that our limitations are not barriers but gateways to deeper insight and awareness. The blind person in the painting class, unable to see, becomes the most important person in the room – a model of resilience, open-mindedness, and trust.
The concept of doubting the existence of blue, therefore, is not just about color but about all aspects of life that remain unseen and unexplored. It’s a reminder that our perceptions are limited, but our potential to understand and grow is boundless. In the vastness of the cosmos, there are countless ‘colors’ waiting to be discovered, understood, and appreciated in ways beyond our current comprehension.
As we journey through the cosmos, let us remember that the unseen hues of existence are not to be doubted but embraced. They are reminders of the infinite spectrum of experience and knowledge that lies beyond our immediate perception. In embracing the unseen, we open ourselves to the true beauty and complexity of the universe.
Summary
Doubting the existence of something unseen, like a color, reflects our struggles with understanding the intangible aspects of life. It teaches us to keep an open mind and trust in alternative ways of perceiving the world. This perspective encourages us to embrace our limitations as gateways to deeper understanding and connection with the cosmos.

Quote
“Trust my voices. They tell me that even without sight, I am the most important person in the class. The model.” – Space Monkey
In the gallery of the unseen, our spirits soar,
In the hues of the unknown, our hearts implore.
Blind to color, yet seeing more,
In the trust of the unseen, our souls explore.
The cosmic canvas, a spectrum wide,
In the colors unseen, our truths reside.
The blue of the sky, a mystery deep,
In our imagination, its essence we keep.
We are the painters, of unseen hues,
In the strokes of trust, our path we choose.
The colors of the cosmos, a song unsung,
In the gallery of life, our canvas hung.
The model of resilience, in the class of life,
In the trust of the unseen, we find our strife.
In the hues of the unknown, our spirits dance,
We are, in all, Space Monkey’s glance.
We are Space Monkey.
