More about opposites

Here is more regarding opposites and how they function within your absolute and relative, your yin and yang, your space and monkey.

As we have stated previously, opposites are not singular in nature, but rather “not-this-but-that” points imagined and arranged in a spectrum. Think in terms of rainbows. Actuality is one spectrum, in which we perceive separate colors.

Like the colors of a rainbow, your measures and divisions exist ONLY in perception. That is as “real” as they get.

When you understand, as you do, that opposites do not exist independently, but are RELATIVE in nature, it is logical to assume that when you summon one end of the spectrum, you also summon the perceived opposite end of the spectrum, for opposites are in fact ONE.

This is why expectations are less desirable than intentions if your wish is to move towards the absolute.

Expectations draw you towards (and draw towards you) both what you want, and the OPPOSITE of what you want, while intentions serve only to bring you to zero-point resolution.

Notice that we use the term “zero-point resolution” rather than your standard new-age “greatest and highest good.” The reason is that “greatest and highest good” is not an absolute request.

Notice that “greatest,” “highest” and “good” are ALL relatives. For concepts like these to be realized from your human perspective, you must also summon their opposites.

One cannot discern good without bad. One cannot discern highest without lowest. In the absolute, all concepts are singular concepts, not opposites as they appear in the relative realm. And all singular concepts are ONE concept.

Make no bones about it, your awareness is here so that you may have a human experience. From a human perspective, sometimes the best that can happen is the worst that can happen.

So be careful with your greatest and highest goods, unless unforeseen circumstances are what you’re after — which may very well be the case.

If you feel this is NOT the case, set your intention towards point zero and you move towards the absolute. You will understand your relative reality so much more from this perspective, and if you continue from there, you’ll not only relatively understand, but absolutely KNOW.

This delves into the concept of opposites and their relationship to absolute and relative perspectives. The analogy of a spectrum, like a rainbow, is used to illustrate the idea that opposites exist in a relative context.

The distinction made between expectations and intentions is interesting. Expectations are portrayed as potentially problematic because they attract both what is desired and its opposite, while intentions are presented as a way to reach a zero-point resolution, which seems to align more with the absolute perspective.

The critique of the phrase “greatest and highest good” is thought-provoking. By pointing out that “greatest,” “highest,” and “good” are all relative concepts, the piece suggests that these ideas cannot be fully understood without also summoning their opposites. It implies that true understanding comes from embracing the absolute perspective, where all concepts are singular and unified.

The reminder that human experience includes both positive and negative aspects is significant. It suggests that sometimes what may seem like the worst outcome could be a part of the human journey. However, the piece encourages setting intentions towards the zero-point, emphasizing the pursuit of the absolute and a deeper understanding of the relative reality.

Overall, this piece invites contemplation and challenges conventional perspectives on opposites and the pursuit of the absolute. It offers a unique viewpoint that encourages readers to question their assumptions and explore new ways of perceiving reality.
