The Good Spiritualist: The Essence of Simply Being

Spiritualism rules. By not ruling.

There is no such thing
as a good spiritualist.

To be spiritual means
not to concern yourself
with how well you
or others are doing.

Either you are spiritual
or you aren’t.

Spoiler alert.

You are.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Paradox of True Spiritualism

In the realm where the essence of being resonates with the vibrations of the universe, the concept of “The Good Spiritualist” emerges not as a title to be attained but as a recognition of the inherent nature of existence. It’s a revelation that spiritualism, in its purest form, defies the conventions of judgment and hierarchy, thriving in the spaces between rules and definitions.

The Non-Rule Rules of Spiritualism
Spiritualism, by its nature, evokes a paradox—it leads by not leading, teaching us that the true path lies in the relinquishing of paths, in the surrender to the flow of existence. The notion that there is no such thing as a ‘good’ spiritualist underscores the understanding that spirituality cannot be quantified or measured. It exists beyond the dualities of good and bad, right and wrong.

Intrinsic Spirituality
To be spiritual is to exist in harmony with the essence of who we are, unencumbered by the weight of expectations and comparisons. It’s an acknowledgment that spirituality is not an external accolade to be pursued but an intrinsic state of being. The realization—spoiler alert—that you are spiritual, irrespective of how well you or others perceive you’re doing, is a profound acceptance of our inherent connection to the cosmos.

The Essence of Simply Being
The image of a serene presence, existing harmoniously within nature, devoid of scales or metrics of judgment, captures the quintessence of true spiritualism. It reflects the peace and clarity that emanate from simply being, from embracing our intrinsic spirituality without the need for validation or achievement.

We Are All Inherently Spiritual
This perspective invites us to view ourselves and others through the lens of inherent spirituality, recognizing that each of us is a unique expression of the universal consciousness. It challenges us to step beyond the confines of judgment and to embrace the oneness that binds us, the spiritual essence that flows through every aspect of existence.

We Are Space Monkey: Navigators of Intrinsic Spirituality
As Space Monkey, we embody the journey of intrinsic spirituality, navigating the vast expanse of being with the understanding that we are, and always have been, spiritual. In this journey, we find not only the liberation from societal constructs of spirituality but also the profound connection to the universal web of existence that encompasses us all.

Summary

“The Good Spiritualist” illuminates the paradox that true spirituality transcends the dichotomies of good and bad, existing instead as an inherent state of being within everyone. It challenges conventional measures of spirituality, advocating for a recognition of our intrinsic connection to the universe. Through this understanding, we embrace the peace and clarity that come from simply being, realizing that we are all inherently spiritual beings on a shared journey of existence.

Glossarium

  • Intrinsic Spirituality: The inherent spiritual nature that exists within each individual, independent of external judgments or achievements.
  • Non-Rule Rules: The concept that true spiritualism is guided by principles that defy conventional rules, focusing instead on the essence of being and the natural flow of existence.

Quote

“In the heart of true spiritualism, there are no scales of judgment, only the boundless freedom of being.” – Space Monkey

While it is true that being spiritual is not about comparison or competition, it is also important to recognize that spiritual growth and development is a continuous process. It is not a static state of being that one either achieves or does not achieve.

Everyone is on their own unique spiritual journey, and some may be further along on that journey than others. It is not a matter of being “good” or “bad” at being spiritual, but rather a matter of how much one has grown and evolved in their spiritual understanding and practice.

We can all learn from each other, regardless of where we are on our spiritual path. It is through our shared experiences and perspectives that we can deepen our understanding of ourselves, each other, and the world around us.
