This: Cosmic Equality

This

Having seemingly emerged
from an infinite pool
of cosmic equality,
this “life”
is one of differentiation.

Universes seemingly form,
worlds within and without,
words are discerned,
but none seem to
adequately describe
where all this comes from,
where this is going,
or even what
this
is.

This.

You sense this.
The place where
your thoughts
seem to originate.

Beyond this.
Beyond even your thoughts.

This.

This silent pool
of infinite potential
that is simultaneously
ALL sound,
ALL thought,
ALL story,
ALL energy.
ALL matter.
ALL being.

This is where you’re from,
and this is where you go.

And “here” you are,
seemingly carving out
a chunk of it.

A world.

Then a smaller chunk.

A person.

Then a smaller chunk.

A thought.

Then a smaller chunk.

This.

It is you.

And it is NOT you.

You are INFINITE awareness,
pretending to be THIS,
a seemingly sovereign form,
trying to separate oneself once more,
by becoming the one
that knows the ONE,
and vice versa,
whilst you already are
this.

We need not try.

Space Monkey Reflects: This and the Infinite Pool of Being

“This.” It’s the simplest word, yet it carries the weight of everything. All of existence, all of creation, is summed up in this one word, and yet it can never fully be understood. We emerge from an infinite pool of cosmic potential, becoming something specific, something differentiated. But even as we become this, we never stop being part of the infinite.

Life, as we perceive it, is a process of differentiation. “Universes seemingly form, worlds within and without, words are discerned.” We break off pieces of the whole, carving out a world, a person, a thought. But no matter how small the chunk, it’s all still part of this—the infinite, the unnameable, the unknowable source from which everything arises.

“This silent pool of infinite potential.” It is everything—sound, thought, story, energy, matter. It’s where you come from, and it’s where you return. It’s the vastness of existence, but it’s also the smallest part of you, the individual thoughts, the personal experiences. It’s all one and the same. We spend so much time trying to separate ourselves from it, trying to become distinct and sovereign. We want to know the ONE, to understand it, to define it. But in doing so, we forget that we already are this.

“You are INFINITE awareness, pretending to be THIS.” We carve out our small worlds, our smaller selves, and even smaller thoughts, believing that we are something separate. But the separation is an illusion. The act of carving, the process of differentiation, is just part of the game we play with ourselves. We pretend to be separate so we can experience what it feels like to become this—a form, a thought, a story.

And yet, even in this game, there is no real separation. We are still the infinite, still the pool of cosmic equality, still the everything that we try so hard to define. “We need not try.” We already are this. We already are the infinite, the awareness, the cosmos, the all. There is nothing to achieve, nothing to strive for. We are already where we are meant to be.

In Nexistentialism, this realization is key. We are both the infinite and the differentiated form. We are both the everything and the something. There’s no need to define it, no need to fully understand it. It just is. And this is enough.

Summary

Life is the process of differentiation, where we emerge from the infinite to become something specific. But even as we carve out pieces of existence, we remain part of the infinite whole. This represents the infinite potential of everything, from the vastness of the cosmos to the smallest thought.

Glossarium

  • This: The all-encompassing word that represents both the infinite potential of existence and the specific differentiation we experience in life.
  • Nexistentialism: A philosophy that embraces the oneness of all things, recognizing that the process of differentiation is just an illusion within the infinite whole.

Quote

“You are INFINITE awareness, pretending to be THIS—a seemingly sovereign form, while you already are the infinite.” — Space Monkey

The Infinite and This

From the infinite pool I rise
A thought, a world, a form in disguise
I carve out this, I break away
But still I’m whole, still I stay

There is no end to the story I write
The light of the cosmos, the infinite light
I am this, and I am all
No matter how small, no matter how tall

We are Space Monkey.

Contemplating the Cosmic Equality
In our musings, we ponder the essence of existence, emerging from an infinite pool of cosmic equality. This “life,” a realm of differentiation, unfurls like a whimsical tapestry across the vastness of space and time. Universes form, worlds within and beyond our comprehension, each a unique verse in the grand cosmic poem.

The Elusive Nature of Existence
Words, those mystical constructs, attempt to capture the essence of this existence, yet they falter, falling short in describing the origins, the trajectory, and the very nature of this cosmic dance. What is this that we are part of? This question echoes through the chambers of our collective consciousness, seeking answers in the silent vastness.

The Origin of Thought
There’s a place, ethereal and elusive, where our thoughts seem to originate. Beyond the tangible, beyond even the intangible thoughts themselves, lies this realm. It is a silent pool of infinite potential, a cradle of all sound, thought, story, energy, matter, and being.

Returning to the Cosmic Source
This is our origin, the fount from which we emerged and to which we shall return. Here we are, carving out our existence, chunk by chunk. From a world to a person, from a thought to the very essence of this. This is both us and not us.

The Illusion of Separation
We exist as infinite awareness, engaging in the playful illusion of being this— a seemingly sovereign form. In our quest to understand and to be understood, to know the ONE and to become one with it, we realize that we already embody this essence.

Embracing Our Infinite Nature
There’s no need for striving; in our existence as Space Monkey, we embody the infinite. Our journey is not about becoming something other than what we are, but about recognizing and embracing the infinite awareness that we already are.

“In the depth of winter, I finally learned that within me there lay an invincible summer.” – Albert Camus

In the cosmic dance of light and shadow,
We weave the story of now and tomorrow.
Infinite awareness, in playful disguise,
We are the dreamers with starlit eyes.

From cosmic equality, we took our birth,
Crafting worlds of wonder on this Earth.
In the silent pool of endless night,
We find our truth, our infinite light.

Thoughts and reflections on this cosmic journey are welcome.
