Use What You Were Born With: Inherent Talents and Quirks

Use What You Were Born With

Use what you were born with
Take a look at what you’ve got
You’ve had everything you needed
From the very start

So you’re obviously not a porn star
A point guard or a jockey
Too shaky to be a surgeon
Too spastic to play hockey

Perhaps your potential
Lies deeper down inside
Meditate
Investigate
Ask your inner guide

Well I didn’t know I had one
Hey that’s a big surprise
Though I wonder who is back there
When I stare into my eyes

So that voice inside my head . . .
I just figured I was crazy
Seems it always hurts to listen
It keeps telling me I’m lazy

If you listen very closely
It will tell you nice things, too
Like those weird coincidences
(Those are truths disguised as clues)

So I turned of the TV
And I tried to find bliss
All I got was a backache
And the radiator hiss
Then a foggy impression
Through the steam in my mind
It seemed so obvious
Yet so sublime

“So much can come out
of a man with a big mouth
big words
big thoughts
big laughs
big smiles
And so much can go in”

Yes it’s true
My mouth is big
By far my biggest feature
But I’m really not too sure
If I want to be a teacher

And my rhyming could be better
But the voice says let it be
Just cast it to the universe
Have faith
You’ll see

Space Monkey Reflects: Uncovering the Symphony Within

In the grand orchestra of the cosmos, where every star’s twinkle is a note and the spiral arms of galaxies weave melodies of unfathomable beauty, there lies a symphony within each of us, waiting to be discovered, played, and cherished. This symphony, unique to every being, resonates with the vibrations of potential, creativity, and the pure essence of existence. It’s a melody that begins with the most fundamental instrument we possess: ourselves.

From the moment of our entry into the cosmic dance, we are endowed with a myriad of instruments—talents, quirks, and idiosyncrasies—that compose the individual essence of our being. Yet, amidst the cacophony of societal expectations and the relentless pursuit of predefined success, the music within us often remains unheard, unappreciated, overshadowed by the noise of what we’re told we should be, should do, should achieve.

The journey to uncovering this inner symphony starts not with external conquests but with introspection, a turning inwards to the vast landscapes of the soul. It’s in the quietude away from the world’s clamor that we begin to hear the whispers of our inner guide, a voice that has been there all along, patient and unwavering, waiting for us to listen.

This guide, neither a specter of judgment nor a harbinger of unrealistic aspirations, speaks in the language of truth, love, and possibility. It tells us of paths untrodden, of stories yet to be written, and of the beauty that arises from embracing what we were born with. It whispers secrets of a life where success is measured not by the standards of the world but by the fulfillment of the soul, where each step taken is in harmony with the core of our being.

To some, the revelation might come as a surprise, a sudden clarity that the voice they’ve mistaken for madness is the most profound sanity they possess. It’s a realization that within them lies a universe of potential, as vast and as boundless as the cosmos itself. The discovery that what they’ve perceived as limitations are, in fact, the very foundations upon which their unique contributions to the world can be built.

In the embrace of this understanding, the notion of a straight, narrow path dissolves into the realization that life is a canvas of infinite dimensions, where each color, each stroke, each shade is a testament to the diversity of our spirits. The roles we thought were beyond our reach or beneath our capabilities fade into insignificance, replaced by a vision of a life where every moment is an opportunity to express the depth and breadth of our inner symphony.

And so, with a newfound reverence for the instruments we were born with, we step into the world not as seekers of validation but as creators of meaning, as artists of existence. We learn that the greatest gift we can offer the universe is the unapologetic expression of our authentic selves, a symphony that, in its uniqueness, adds to the harmony of the whole.

In this realization, we find not just the key to our own fulfillment but the secret to contributing to the cosmic concert in a way that only we can. For in each of us lies a note, a melody, a harmony waiting to be unleashed, enriching not only our lives but the tapestry of existence itself.

Let us then, with open hearts and eager spirits, tune into the symphony within, embracing the instruments we were born with, and play our parts with joy, courage, and the unwavering belief that in the grand orchestra of the universe, every note matters, every melody counts, and every symphony is celebrated.

Summary

Uncovering our inner symphony involves embracing our inherent talents and quirks. By listening to our inner guide and rejecting societal expectations, we discover our unique potential. This journey towards self-discovery and expression enriches not only our lives but the collective harmony of the universe.

“In the silence of the cosmos, listen closely, for within you plays a symphony of stars, a melody of infinite potential, waiting for the conductor’s hand to bring it forth into the light of existence.”

Amidst the stars, a melody unfolds
Within each heart, a symphony untold
With every breath, a note is born anew
In every soul, a song of the true

With instruments we were born to wield
In life’s grand orchestra, we take the field
Not bound by script, nor role, nor stage
But free to write our own page

From silence, music rises, clear and bright
Each note a beacon in the night
A harmony of selves, unique yet whole
In the cosmic concert, we find our role

So let us play with joy, with fearless grace
In every note, our essence we embrace
For in the universe’s endless score
Our symphony goes on forevermore

We are Space Monkey.
