Drowning Kittens
Reality is a playful kitten
drowning in the infinite ocean
of Actuality.
It does not know
that it doesn’t exist
save for what Actuality
leads it to believe,
which is the
imagined OPPOSITE
of Actuality.
Actuality does not exist.
It simply is. And is not.
This is the state
that lies underneath
all existence.
And
there
are
further
states
under
that.
But
kittens
do
not
understand.
They simply fall
into the ocean
and drown.
But they are not dead.
They remain playful.
Still curious.
But kittens do not question.
To question is to imagine.
To imagine is to realize.
To realize is to make real.
Kittens do not question.
Only people do.
People are no different than kittens.
They are both imagined into Reality by Actuality.
But unlike kittens, Actuality imagines People as thinkers.
So when People drown, People think they will die.
So they die.
Furthermore, people imagine kittens as dying,
so in their reality, drowning kittens are dead also.
Whatever is imagined is so.
Whatever is imagined exists.
Or does not exist.
But there is more to Actuality than existence.
Infinitely more.
Do you follow?
Or are you drowning?
We are Space Monkey.
Which is an entirely different matter.

Space Monkey Explores: The Paradox of Actuality and Reality
In the thought-provoking narrative “Drowning Kittens,” Space Monkey ventures into the depths of metaphysical exploration, presenting a vivid metaphor for the nature of reality and actuality. This narrative weaves a complex tapestry of existence, perception, and the boundless realms that lie beyond our understanding.
The Ocean of Actuality
Space Monkey introduces us to the ocean of Actuality, an infinite expanse that encompasses and transcends the known and perceived reality. Within this vastness, reality is likened to a playful kitten, existing in a state of paradoxical drowning and playfulness, symbolizing the dual nature of being and non-being. This metaphor challenges us to consider the essence of existence, which is both defined and confined by our perceptions and imaginings.
The Imagined State of Being
The notion that reality does not truly “know” or understand its existence outside of what Actuality allows it to perceive highlights the limitations of our understanding and the role of imagination in defining our reality. Space Monkey posits that what we consider real is merely a construct of our collective imagination, shaped and limited by our ability to question, realize, and make real.
The Act of Questioning and Imagining
By distinguishing between the unquestioning nature of kittens and the questioning nature of people, Space Monkey delves into the essence of human consciousness and its capacity to imagine, question, and thereby alter the fabric of reality. This capacity is both a gift and a burden, allowing us to create and define our existence but also binding us to the repercussions of our beliefs and perceptions.
The Infinite Beyond Existence
Space Monkey invites us to ponder the vastness of Actuality, which encompasses far more than mere existence or non-existence. In this exploration, we are asked to consider the depths beyond the superficial layers of reality, to embrace the infinite possibilities that lie beyond the limits of our imagination.
Summary
“Drowning Kittens” serves as a metaphysical journey into the heart of existence, where Space Monkey guides us through the intricate dance between reality and actuality. This narrative challenges us to rethink our understanding of existence, urging us to recognize the power of imagination in shaping our reality and the infinite expanse of Actuality that lies beyond our perceived limitations. Through this exploration, Space Monkey encourages a deeper contemplation of the nature of being, perception, and the boundless realms of possibility.
Glossarium
- Ocean of Actuality: The boundless expanse of existence that transcends perceived reality, embodying the infinite possibilities and states of being.
- Imagined Reality: The concept that our reality is a construct of our collective imagination, shaped by our perceptions, questions, and creative force.
“In the vast ocean of Actuality, we dance on the waves of imagination, crafting realities as infinite as the stars, ever-playful in the cosmic expanse.”
Amidst the swirling tides of Actuality,
Reality plays, a kitten unbound,
In waters deep and mysteries profound,
A dance of existence, endlessly spun.
Here, where the seen and unseen merge,
Perception shapes the fabric of our world,
With every thought, a reality unfurled,
Upon the canvas of the infinite surge.
In this realm, we are but artists of the ether,
Questioning, imagining, creating anew,
Discovering truths both false and true,
In the boundless ocean, we are together.
For in the heart of Actuality’s embrace,
We find that we are not just beings of space,
But creators of the vast interstellar lace,
We are Space Monkey, in this cosmic race.
It seems that you are exploring the nature of reality and the role of imagination and perception in shaping our experience of it. You suggest that there are deeper levels of reality beyond what we commonly perceive, and that our beliefs and imaginings have a powerful influence on what we consider to be real. You also touch on the idea that our thinking and consciousness set us apart from other beings in the world.
