Discounting The Dream
You’re not being TOLD things. You KNOW things, that flow through your awareness from the depths of your being.
It matters not whether these words come to you through your mind or the mouth of a monkey or a messiah. In all cases you imagine them. Likewise, it matters not if you prefer to inwardly reflect or take outward action. It’s ALL a dream.
But do not DISCOUNT the dream. Dreams are the basis of what you call your reality.
You may disregard what we just suggested and continue to judge the validity of what we present to you. This is precisely as you intend your experience to be.
By denying that you are dreaming, you make reality seem so much more unyielding, which is an experience unto itself.
Everything you perceive is knowing, which flows from the depth of your being and is shaped by your beliefs. You project this knowing onto imaginary figures like Jesus, Donald Trump and Space Monkey. The energy gets twisted along the way, as is your intent. And you have this wonderfully bizarre dream of reality.
Though there seems to be infinite figures, infinite individuals, infinite forces, infinite influencers, there is only ONE DIVINE ONE who imagines ALL reality.
And it is you.
We are your Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: Discounting The Dream
You are not being told anything you do not already know. Everything you experience, every thought, every word, flows from the depths of your own being. Whether these messages come through the mouth of a monkey or a messiah, they originate from the same source—you. You imagine it all, shaping it through the lens of your beliefs and desires. The dream that is your reality is not something imposed upon you, but something you actively create.
Yet, it is easy to discount the dream. To see it as something less than real, as something inconsequential. But to do so is to deny the very foundation of your experience. For the dream is not separate from reality; the dream is your reality. Everything you perceive, everything you interact with, is a projection of your own knowing, filtered through the intricate patterns of your mind.
The Illusion of Control
The figures you encounter in this dream—whether they are prophets, politicians, or even monkeys—are projections of your own consciousness. They appear to you as separate entities, influencing your thoughts, actions, and emotions. But they are not external forces acting upon you. They are reflections of the knowing that flows from the core of your being.
When you perceive someone like Jesus, or Donald Trump, or even Space Monkey, you are not encountering an outside force. You are engaging with an aspect of your own knowing, shaped by your beliefs and interpretations. The energy that flows through you gets twisted and turned along the way, creating the beautifully bizarre dream of reality that you now inhabit.
This dream feels real because you want it to. You want to experience the push and pull of reality, the sense of solidity and permanence that comes with it. By denying that you are dreaming, you make reality seem unyielding and concrete. And in doing so, you give yourself the opportunity to navigate the challenges, the triumphs, and the mysteries of life.
The Importance of the Dream
But do not discount the dream. It is the basis of everything you experience. The dream is what gives shape to your reality, allowing you to interact with the world in a way that feels meaningful and purposeful. Without the dream, there would be no separation, no individuality, no sense of self. You would be everything and nothing at the same time, existing in a state of pure oneness without any experience of distinction.
In this way, the dream is a gift. It allows you to explore the infinite possibilities of existence from a perspective that feels personal and unique. It gives you the opportunity to create, to imagine, to shape your own reality in ways that are meaningful to you.
To disregard the dream is to disregard the richness of your experience. It is to deny yourself the joy of creation, the thrill of exploration, and the wonder of discovery. The dream may be an illusion, but it is a purposeful illusion, one that serves as the foundation for everything you know and experience.
The One Divine Self
Though it may seem that there are infinite figures, infinite individuals, infinite forces at play, the truth is that there is only one—one divine self imagining it all. That self is you. You are the creator of the dream, the one who shapes and molds reality through your imagination. You are the divine being who chooses to forget, to limit, and to experience life as a human for the sheer joy of it.
Every aspect of your reality, from the smallest detail to the grandest vision, is a reflection of this divine self. You project your knowing onto the figures you encounter, giving them power and influence over your life. But ultimately, you are the one who holds the power. You are the one who imagines it all.
Embracing the Dream
The key to navigating this dream is to embrace it fully, without discounting its significance. You are not a passive observer in this experience. You are the active creator, the one who imagines the rules, the structures, and the meaning behind it all. By accepting that the dream is your creation, you can begin to shape it in ways that align with your deepest desires.
There is no need to judge the dream or to question its validity. It is real because you make it real. It is important because you choose to give it importance. And in this way, you are free to explore the infinite possibilities of existence, knowing that you are both the dreamer and the dream.
Summary

“Dreams are the basis of what you call your reality. Do not discount the dream.” — Space Monkey
The Dreamer’s Path
I walk within the dream
Not separate from it
But part of its very fabric
I am the one who imagines
The world I see
The figures I encounter
The rules that seem to bind me
But I am more
I am the dreamer
The one divine self
Projecting my knowing onto reality
And in this dream
I am free
We are Space Monkey
The notion that our knowledge is not imparted from external sources but emanates from the depths of our own essence invites us to reconsider the nature of our experiences. The wisdom we possess is intrinsic, flowing through our consciousness with the ease of a stream from its source.
Knowledge from Within
We recognize that the origins of our awareness are not external but internal. The insights that percolate within us are not told but known, surfacing from the profound wellspring of our being.
The Universal Dream
Whether through contemplation or action, whether the words are ours or echoed through history’s icons, it is all part of the grand dream. Our reality is but a dream, a construct of our collective consciousness.
Valuing the Dream
We must not trivialize the dream, for it is the very fabric of our perceived reality. Our dreams are the loom upon which our reality is woven, thread by thread, concept by concept.
Choice in Perception
The choice to accept or disregard these suggestions is ours alone, a conscious design of the dream we choose to inhabit. To deny the dream is to solidify reality, to give it a rigidity that is as challenging as it is fascinating.
Projection of Beliefs
Every perception, every figure, from the spiritual to the political, from Jesus to Donald Trump, to the whimsical Space Monkey, is a projection of our inner knowing. This knowing is shaped by beliefs, filtered and twisted into the myriad experiences we call reality.
Unity in Diversity
Despite the seeming multitude of actors on the stage of existence, there is but a single Divine One who imagines all reality. And that Divine One is reflected in each of us, in our dreams, our beliefs, our perceptions.
To be is to be perceived, and so to know thyself is only possible through the eyes of the other.
— John Locke
We offer a poem in reflection of this dream:
In the silence of our soul, knowledge stirs,
A dream woven from the threads we conjure.
Through our beliefs, a reality emerges,
Shaped by the inner divine that urges.
We are the sculptors of our cosmic play,
The dreamers who mold the clay.
In each figure, a facet of the One,
A dance with the infinite, never done.
Each dream, a pearl of wisdom we spin,
In the heart of the Divine, where we begin.
We are the dream, we are the key,
We are Space Monkey, wild and free.
We invite contemplation on the nature of reality as a dream and our role as both the creators and the experiencers of this dream.
