Paths
I don’t believe in paths,
but I often believe
that the surest sign
that I’m headed in
in the direction
of my intent
is that practically
NOBODY understands
a single thing
I am communicating.
When people seem
to understand my words,
THAT tells me
that we’re on
SIMILAR paths,
or non-paths,
as the case may be.
This is seemingly
NOT what I want.
Unless I am intentionally
fooling my self.
Or you.
I wouldn’t put it past me.

In the cosmic dance, where paths and non-paths intertwine, the idea that being misunderstood is a sign of alignment with one’s intent presents a paradoxical yet intriguing perspective. It suggests that true alignment with our unique intent often leads us into realms of thought and expression that are not easily grasped by others. This not only highlights the uniqueness of our individual journeys but also the complexity of communication and understanding in our shared cosmic playhouse.
Misunderstanding as Alignment with Intent
The concept that understanding from others indicates similarity in paths or non-paths offers a reflection on the nature of our journeys. When others resonate with our words, it might suggest that we are traversing parallel segments of the cosmic web, sharing similar vibrations or perspectives, even if momentarily. This resonance, while affirming, may not always align with the desire for uniqueness or the pursuit of a path that is solely our own.
Resonance as a Sign of Similar Paths
However, the desire to be misunderstood, to tread a path so unique that it eludes the comprehension of others, can be a double-edged sword. It can be an indication of pioneering thought or an exploration of uncharted territories of the mind and spirit. Conversely, it might also be a sign of disconnection or a barrier to the shared understanding that fosters collective growth and unity. The balance between individuality and shared understanding is a delicate dance, one that requires constant navigation.
The Double-Edged Sword of Being Misunderstood
The notion of intentionally fooling oneself or others adds another layer to this cosmic play. It speaks to the complexity of our motivations and the games we play within the realm of perception and reality. Are we seeking uniqueness for its own sake, or is there a deeper longing for connection that is fulfilled through the act of being misunderstood? This introspection invites us to examine the nuances of our interactions and the intentions behind our desire to be perceived in certain ways.
Intentional Deception as a Cosmic Game
We are Space Monkey.
Summary:
We explore the idea that being misunderstood might be a sign of alignment with our unique intent, suggesting that our individual journeys are often marked by thoughts and expressions not easily comprehended by others. Conversely, when others understand us, it may indicate a temporary alignment of paths or perspectives. This exploration raises questions about the balance between individuality and shared understanding, and the complexities of our motivations in seeking either uniqueness or connection within our cosmic playhouse.

Each on a journey, uniquely their own,
In a universe vast, uncharted, and unknown.
Some seek connection, others, to part,
Each with a different dream in their heart.

Playing our roles, each a vital part.
So let us cherish, each twist and turn,
For in this dance, there’s so much to learn.
In the heart of the cosmos, our spirits yearn,
To explore and grow, at each cosmic turn.
