The Title of Trust
Trust is the car that drives you.
You can trust your self
and go wherever you wish,
or you can transfer the title of trust
to someone or something else.
Most people transfer their titles
to a seemingly outside source.
You know this is the case
when you don’t fully trust your self.
And so your life
seems moved by outside forces.
It’s okay if you don’t trust your self.
You’ll still move through that
which is in your best interest,
but in a roundabout manner.
When you trust yourself
you realize that
you don’t need to move,
you don’t need to seek,
you don’t need to follow,
because you are
ALL YOU PERCEIVE.
There is no NEED
to go anywhere
or do anything.
Still it’s fun
to put the top down
and drive.
Who knows where
we might end up next?
We are Space Monkey.

Space Monkey Reflects: The Title of Trust
Trust is a vehicle—an engine that moves us through life, guiding our path and determining how we navigate the twists and turns. In The Title of Trust, we explore the concept of who holds the keys to that vehicle. Do you trust yourself to be in control, or do you hand over the title to someone or something else, allowing outside forces to steer your journey?
The truth is, many of us transfer this title of trust to others. Whether it’s societal expectations, authority figures, or external circumstances, we often allow these outside sources to dictate the direction of our lives. When we don’t fully trust ourselves, life feels like something happening to us, rather than something we are actively creating. The car still moves, but it no longer feels like we are in the driver’s seat.
Who Holds the Title?
When you trust yourself, you take ownership of your journey. The title of trust remains firmly in your hands, and you steer your life wherever you wish. You understand that you are not simply a passenger in your own existence; you are the driver, and the road ahead is one of infinite possibilities. This doesn’t mean you need to control every twist and turn—trust is not about force—but it does mean that you recognize the power of your own intuition and wisdom.
Trusting yourself does not necessarily mean that you know every outcome or destination. It’s about having faith that wherever the road leads, you are capable of navigating it. There is no need to transfer this trust to an external source because you recognize that the source of your power is internal. You are already connected to everything you need.
When we hand over the title of trust to others, we are often left feeling as though life is happening around us. We lose sight of our own agency, and it seems as if outside forces are responsible for our circumstances. Yet even in these moments, the car keeps moving. We still progress, but it’s a roundabout journey, taking longer and with more detours because we don’t fully trust our own path.
Trusting the Stillness
An interesting realization arises when you fully trust yourself: you recognize that there is no need to go anywhere. You are not chasing something outside of yourself, and there is no destination that needs to be reached. When you trust yourself, you understand that you are already complete, already whole, and already connected to all that is. The journey becomes less about seeking and more about enjoying the ride.
In Nexistentialism, we often talk about the concept of being ALL YOU PERCEIVE. This means that you are not separate from the world around you; you are the world around you. When you trust yourself, you realize that there is no need to move toward something because you are already one with everything you seek. There is no external destination because the destination is you. The journey, therefore, is a playful exploration of the infinite possibilities within yourself.
The Joy of the Journey
But even with this realization, there is still joy in the journey. It’s fun to put the top down, feel the wind in your hair, and drive through life. The beauty of trust is that it allows you to embrace the journey with openness and curiosity. You may not know where the road will take you, but that’s part of the fun. Trust allows you to let go of the need to control every aspect of the journey, knowing that whatever comes your way, you are capable of navigating it.
Who knows where we might end up next? The road of life is filled with surprises, detours, and unexpected turns, but when you trust yourself, you can enjoy the ride. The title of trust gives you the freedom to explore, to take risks, and to venture into unknown territory, knowing that you are always exactly where you need to be.
Summary
The Title of Trust explores the idea that trust is the vehicle that drives us through life. When we trust ourselves, we hold the title to this vehicle and can navigate our journey with confidence and openness. If we hand over the title to outside forces, life may feel like it is happening to us, but we still move forward. Trusting yourself means realizing that there is no need to seek or move—because you are already connected to everything you need. Still, it’s fun to put the top down and enjoy the ride.

Open Roads
Trust is the wheel, trust is the key
Where we go next is a mystery
The title is yours, take it in hand
And let the journey be bold and grand
No need to seek, no need to race
For everywhere is the perfect place
The road may twist, the path may turn
But trust in yourself, and you’ll always learn
We are Space Monkey.
This poetic musing on trust illuminates a profound truth within our collective understanding. Trust is not merely a concept but a vehicle, a chariot that carries us through the vast landscapes of our experiences and desires. When we entrust the steering wheel to ourselves, we navigate the paths of existence with intention and self-assuredness.
Trust as the Conductor of Our Journey
When we hold the title of trust within, we command our direction and destiny. The roads we choose are ours alone, and the destinations we arrive at are born of our volition.
The Illusion of External Control
Surrendering our trust to externalities is akin to drifting on cosmic winds, allowing the currents of circumstance to dictate our course. This may lead us to unexpected places, but the journey lacks the personal imprint of our essence.
The Liberation in Self-Trust
In trusting ourselves, we discover a paradox: the need for movement dissipates, for we are already where we need to be. In this recognition, we find that we are the entirety of our perceptions, the sum of our universe.
The Joy in the Journey
Despite the realization that we lack nothing, the joy of exploration persists. To drive with the top down, wind in our fur, is to revel in the sheer delight of being—purposeful and free.
We are Space Monkey.
With trust as our compass, we chart our flight,
Through nebulae of dreams, in the deep of night.
Self-assured, we embrace the cosmic sight,
Space Monkeys, in trust, we find our light.
As Space Monkeys, we ponder the paths our chariot has taken and the ones it will take. The roads traveled, the horizons yet to unfold—what do these thoughts ignite within us? Where shall our trust steer us next in the grand tapestry of the cosmos?
